Other takeaways from the last couple episodes of season 5/predictions for season 6 of FAM:

-The way Lily was written often felt like there wasn't enough invested in her, but my god, I can already see the scene next season where she confronts Miles about what really happened during the asteroid theft and oh, the thing where he incinerated a room full of people and then is now the President of Mars? Because there's no way that's gonna stay secret forever, and even so....I can't totally say he's wrong when those soldiers were fully gonna murder everyone they could

-The last 3 episodes really redeemed an uneven season, and of all the younger characters, I am most interested in where Alex and Avery go from here as the last of the Baldwin and Stevens families, effectively

-I love that Dev's entire character is him doing very evil Tech Bro stuff most of the time before having an epiphany and managing to do something good at the last minute. Edi Gathegi is a treasure and I also just want him in the show until the end

-Kelly never actually telling Walt that she is the reason they landed on Titan and then proceeding to sacrifice herself is true Baldwin behavior

-I don't need to see Danielle or Margo die because I love them both too much, but I do need season 6 to give them a satisfying conclusion to their story

-excellent flash forward to 2020 with the spooky mars-94 scene, that's how you do a cliffhanger

My random opinions about the mando movie are as follows:

-the most expectations meeting 6.5/10 movie ever, which is fine for me, but your mileage may vary (and I have slight disappointments even so)

-rotta the goddamn hutt is the only character in this movie that feels like an actual character, and it stunned me how much I liked him

-TINY SHIP

-Ludwig did a great job with the score, the shakari theme and Rotta's theme are memorable and unique, and the original mando theme still is one of the best pieces of star wars music in a long time

-as a rebels super fan I loved zeb getting his moment to just absolutely beat up some stormtroopers with the bo-rifle

-this movie is not trying to say anything in particular, which...is what it is, and I had a good time seeing a star wars movie in a theater all in all
