Because I am looking for a writing partner to help me write my book (and I help them write theirs! Or their fanfic) and I don't know where to find them because the tumblr needabeta thing is gone so I'm just gonna advertise on here lol. I don't want any of my usual online friends to beta for me because they all have soft hearts and I know they won't be able to handle criticising me :p

So my novel is quite tropey, I know, but it has an original vibe to it if you know what I mean.

DOWRY OF DAMNATION is a 90k (incomplete) romantasy, queer (male/male) novel with themes of powerlessness, taking back ownership of oneself, and political intrigue. It features a soft love interest and cold MMC who becomes more human as we go on.

It revolves around the Sun God who is banished by the Creator for being cruel to his people, and as punishment he is stripped of his powers and wakes up in the body of a mortal who is named Cyrus, and who is going to a ball soon; a ball thrown for the prince of a neighbouring kingdom to choose a bride (gender neutral). Guess what? He ends up being chosen.

Now he has to deal with the humiliation that is not having his powers, as well as serving his husband and being a loving bride, as well as... apparently assassinating him??? Because his family has ulterior motives for sending him to that ball...

He soon finds out that as his husband falls in love with him, his powers start coming back, so now he has to try and seduce his husband as well in hopes of getting his powers back...
