You know whenever I feel overwhelmed by stupid people screaming on the internet, I tend to step back and remind myself that the internet is a big and a small place at the same time. It spans across the globe and connect humanity together in an information super highway of communications but at the same time, only a portion of the population use it so frequently as to be in touch with everything going on at once. The people screaming stupid shit are group so minuscule that the only reason we ever see them is because of algorithms that are geared towards artificially boosting posts and topics to drive up engagement for advertisers. Not to mention the fact a sizable portion of those voices are just ragebait bots.
