Why Believe in God?

Why do people believe in god? What would you have people believe if we were way back 3 or 4 thousand years ago and you were a leader in your village or chief of a tribe?.,.people are coming up to you asking where everything comes from or how it all started.,.some are saying their kids keep asking what happens after death or will they ever see their loved ones again.,.others are convincing the rest to rob, rape and kill or do whatever feels good because there is no consequences or moral belief .,.what are you going to tell them? .,.- you don't know? you don't care? .,.if that's the case, it won't be long before they find someone else to rule that has a slightly better idea of what to say or how to keep order.,. from this perspective; it is easy to see even if god doesn't exist why it might be necessary to invent one.,.

But does god exist? Now let's say for the sake of conversation we are even further back in time .,.perhaps cavemen walking through the woods.,.and we come upon a house.,.it has a roof on top to keep us from the wind and rain .,.inside there are beds with blankets to rest and stay warm, food and a fridge to keep it in, lightbulbs and lamps to guide us at night, water for drinking and bathing, there is also a t.v and stereo to keep us entertained.,. and we are confused .,.we ask each other how this all got here or came to be .,.it makes sense to think that someone must have made it or brought it all into existence right? it couldn't all just come by chance or from nothing.,.now let's take away the house .,.we are still cavemen but wondering how everything in nature got here or came to be .,.the world is much more impressive than a house.,. and it also it has caves for shelter and trees for building a house, plenty of water, grass and soft places to lie in, all kinds of food and places to put it, precious metals in the ground below us for making tools and trading, diversity of plants and herbs for healing the sick or injured, a sun that keeps us warm during the day .,.and a moon with stars for the night which can also help guide our directions or tell us what time it is from the hour of day to the season of year .,.a planet with beautiful things to look at or listen to.,.all part of a magnificent system that can evolve and renew itself.,.how could something much more impressive than a house come from nothing or by chance when we know that house must be built? .,.and perhaps almost as impressive as the planet itself; is the people that live within it.,.

So were we created? Has nature changed that much since cavemen first asked this question? .,.and if the rest of nature hasn't changed that much then why have we humans come so far from the caves? .,.we don't see dolphins driving cars or monkeys making houses.,.and yet we supposedly came from them? .,.we don't see crocodiles communicating or trees trying to defend themselves and they have been here much longer than us.,.there is still no democracy in the jungle or any sign of civility in the seas and yet we humans have had laws for thousands of years.,.our pets can be trained to sit down or shit outside but they are no closer to being able to use tools that we figured out long ago even tho they are living in the same environment .,. we know that things do evolve .,.and we know organisms mutate & species adapt .,.but it cannot be the same way darwin or the rest of mainstream science has claimed.,.it would seem that man was indeed made special or unique amongst the creatures like almost every ancient religion had figured out long ago .,.

How can you prove it? I cannot prove that god exists .,.maybe he was here once and left long ago.,.but even if he never was; perhaps in the future gods will come .,.but that would depend on what our definition of a god or universal intelligence will be .,.and if they did come, would they be the same gods we were expecting or waiting for? .,.will they comfort and forgive us? .,.will they cast us into eternal darkness or hell fire?.,.we do not know .,.and i can think of nothing more ignorant than pretending we do .,.logic only tells me that absence of proof is not proof of absence .,.and whether a story is fact or fiction; it can always teach us something .,.sometimes even a lie can give us a great deal of truth .,.there is no right without left .,.no good without bad .,.no here without there.,.no before without after .,.no shadows without light .,.and perhaps by that same logic there cannot be dependant mortal creatures such as us, without an independent immortal creator? .,.definitely something to think about

The North Pole Hole?

A few years ago i heard a wild theory that some believe to be true; the earth is hollow .,.at the time i thought this couldn’t possibly be true, we know the earth has a molten core in the middle.,.but then i thought about 500 years ago when people knew the earth to be flat & you could fall off the planet if you went far enough.,.and everyone knew america didn’t exist and even columbus thought he would hit china before coming across any other large continents.,.so they were all way off and in the history of the world 500 years ago seems like just yesterday.,.so who knows what we will find tomorrow.,.

Supposedly edmund halley (halleys comet) was a believer of the hollow earth .,.so was isaac newton .,.and hitler apparently sent troops to antarctica during the world war to investigate .,.and there is speculation that they found the opening or at least sent back a letter saying they did .,.it is well known hitler sent people all over the world to acquire ancient knowledge but if he did send troops to a barren land while he is fighting half the world’s power he musta had a pretty good hunch something important actually was there .,.and if you think that is wild, there is also the tale of U.S pilot admiral byrd who claimed he flew into the north pole hole .,.i found a copy of his journal on amazon going for over a thousand dollars .,.now if it was all just a fairy tale like jules verne’s ‘journey to the center of the earth’ you would think it’d be reasonably priced .,.when i think about it, so many of our books and films are about creatures within the earth or evil at the north and south poles .,.it actually turns out the guy who created tarzan did a hollow earth series in which he appropriately calls the land Pellucidar .,.and the medieval epic dante’s inferno tells the story of a mans journey through 9 levels of hell .,.but when he gets to the final stage he finds the devil frozen instead of ruling over a lake of fire .,.why would a poet with so much knowledge of history and christian teachings have a hell that’s frozen over? .,.

As i thought about it further i realized all natures great phenomenons are hollow & spin like the earth; hurricanes, tornadoes, whirlpools.,. and almost every living creature has a hole at the top (mouth) that connects to another at the bottom (ass) .,.and some of the greatest civilizations had beliefs or stories of an underworld deep beneath the ground; greeks & romans (hades) egyptians & sumerians have gods of the underworld, mayans have a place called “the great hollow”, vikings, jews have sheol .,.even to this day more than half the people in iceland believe in elves or dwarves living in caves or beneath the ground .,.tibetan monks believe in shangri la which the dolly lama says is a real physical place within the earth .,.and although most christians would tell you there is no evidence for hollow earth, many do believe in a real hell or bottomless pit from the book of revelations .,.now how could there be a bottomless pit? the only way i can think it possible would be for a hole to start at one end of something and tunnel through all the way to the other side and out .,.

Then i remembered every world map i had growing up was cut off at the north & south poles, and every globe i’ve come by is hollow with holes at the top & bottom once you remove the nuts & bolts that allow you to spin the globe on a surface and mark longitudes .,.just after that i was stirring juice in a jug, & as i brought the spoon round and round; i see the juice going in circles just like the earth with it’s oceans .,.and sure enough there was a hole forming in the middle .,.so i googled world map images and found 3 that have north poles out of over 100 .,.2 of them were sketchy and the other looked like it dipped into a hole at the top .,.and my globe doesn’t even show any ice at the top, it’s all just water .,.

So how do we know the earth is not hollow? or that the centre of our planet is molten core? .,.turns out it’s all based on gravity, magnetism, and seismic waves .,.but do we really know for sure? .,.we are only now beginning to understand alternative uses of magnetism.,.and seismic waves only reach down so far for us to measure .,.gravity seems pretty straight forward as we know it pulls everything down .,.but does it pull hard enough to form a molten core in the centre of the earth? .,.if you take dirt and water and spin it around like the earth, won’t everything go to the outside? .,.so how did the planet manage to compact itself at the center? .,.

Now let’s look at the north pole .,.many people claim to have been there, but where exactly is the point of the pole?.,. is it always straight up to the cosmos, or does it change with the tilt of the earth’s acid as it spins? .,.if you have a point of the most north center of the world on your map will it still be the very top of the planet by the time you get there or will the tilt have put it slightly to the side? .,.i also have heard & read once you hit 83 degrees north your compass will point down .,.so if that’s true then there is a 7 degrees of going blind with no markers but ice and snow ‘til you get to the 90 degree point .,.we know the ice is melting in the arctic, which is making room for new trade routes & giving us more areas to drill massive oil deposits and natural gas (which will ironically make several holes in the north pole if there wasn’t already one).,.making the north pole one of the most valuable places on earth .,.but who owns the north pole? .,.5 countries border it (canada, russia, united states, greenland, norway) and there is now military exercises performed by them & ten other countries preparing for arctic war .,.ronald reagan referred to russia as the evil empire in the 1980’s.,.russia is now spending billions to renovate old cold war bases and believe they are entitled to half the north pole and recently claimed it with a flag in 2007.,.

There are ancient cultures that are still very much with us today.,.for instance; much of our language, architecture & political policies come from the ancient greeks & romans .,.and many of our laws & holidays are based on the jewish calendar & traditions .,.why does so much of our world have to do with things that happened 2000 years ago?.,.why does the U.S army really protect the little state of israel, a country so many have tried to destroy over the centuries? .,.why will you find a picture of george washington in the white house posed as the greek god zeus? and why is he alongside a stone carving of the god apollo whom they named the space missions after? .,.

The oracle at delphi in greece got her prophecies from the god apollo through a big crack in the earth which emitted vapours up .,.this indicates apollo was believed to be underground, but we know him as the sun god with a fiery flying chariot .,.every winter around the same time we celebrate christmas, the oracle would close down because apollo had flown his fiery chariot beyond the north winds to the land of the hyperboreans (remind you of anybody?) .,.he is the only god the romans did not change, though they did call him apollon .,.Revelations 9:11 (emergency number) - “and they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the hebrew tongue is abaddon, but in the greek tongue hath his name apollyon.” .,.why would the greeks or jews connect the sun god with the angel of the bottomless pit and how does he end up in the last book of the christian bible? .,.a bible that was coincidentally written by many jews, a greek, & a roman .,.

We know more about jewish culture than any other, because anything written in hebrew was not allowed to be thrown out or destroyed; including grocery lists & simples business transactions .,.everything was put away in a certain place to slowly decompose .,.and although you will probably never hear this teaching in any church, these are writings that were accepted by jews, muslims & christians.,.the book of Job says god “stretches the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing”.,.also “the waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen”.,.Isaiah the prophet wrote .,.????lucifer in the north and pit .,.and plenty of other scriptures i will include below talk about how in the last days there will be smoke from the north and an incredible northern army coming to destroy everyone .,.also the hills shall melt and cause a flood (are these hills meant to be melting icebergs in the arctic which causes flooding?) .,.& even more recently a giant mystery hole has been discovered in northern siberia.,.what does it all mean and what might happen next? .,.see for yourself and decide what you think .,.i’m not sure what i believe or think will happen .,.if this is all leading up to something or just a bunch of coincidences .,.is there a hole underneath the north pole? .,.and if so, what is down there? and will it affect us one day? .,.

Aliens Live Underneath Us?

A few years ago i wouldn’t have given any thought to aliens.,.i hated every extraterrestrial movie ever made .,.then i seen the Fourth Kind which freaked me right out .,.it’s about aliens abducting people in alaska (underneath the north pole).,. and it really brought up some old feelings for me because when i was little i was always scared of the owl at my bedroom window and one night i woke up stretched out in the middle out of the air.,.i had never connected the two until i seen both happen to people in this film .,.it was only coincidence that i had been studying mayan theology at the time and read that they believed owls were messengers of the underworld.,. they only fed on meadow & clearing creatures .,.which reminded me of how aliens are always supposedly abducting cows .,.then i started watching all kinds of shows like ufo hunters or ancient aliens on the history channel.,.in my opinion a lot of it is more than misleading but there was an episode where they mentioned the possibility of flying saucers coming from inside the earth.,. and thats when almost everything kinda made sense .,.why are half of ufo sightings over or coming out of the waters rather than coming down from deep space? is it another coincidence the mayans also believed in a feathered serpent god who was there since creation and could go up to the sky or down to hell.,. and is this feathered serpent just a way of saying they had once seen something that would come up from the ground like a snake but also could fly as if it had feathers? .,.there are so many sighting of ufos on earth, and it takes forever to get anywhere in space .,.and what are the chances that the creatures coming out of the saucers would look so much like us if they came from planets so far away?.,. 

Those little green men so many people claim to see look exactly how i think men might look if they lived underground with little sunlight or not much food .,.maybe even men built for under the water; they have no hair like fish and big eyes like octopus to see in the dark, no ears or nose because those senses would be useless or at least different down there.,.

Why does so much electrical equipment and most compasses fail when ufos are near?.,.is it possibly because the craft is built from rocks near the north or south poles which might interfere with directions or signals? All countries near the north pole have stories of little green men or mystical men in green; irish leprechauns, iceland elves, gnomes, russian greys, eskimo green men, and even santas elves made a sled that can fly around the globe in one night .,.a sled that coincidentally zigs & zags around the skies like a flying snake.,.

Santa is Satan?

This is not a new or original theory but I do think I’ve found a few things others have missed.,.and even though i don’t know this to be true, the connections are almost scary.,.

Santa & Satan both have names spelt with the same letters, understand all languages, are ancient men in red, come like a thief in the night, defy gravity & fly around the world, have an endless bag of tricks or treats for mankind, know if you are sleeping (or dead), know if you’ve been good or bad (lump of coal), and both take attention away from Jesus Christ .,. santa comes & goes through a smoking chimney while satan comes up a bottomless pit with rising smoke.,.and the greatest trick the devil has is convincing the world he doesn’t exist;.,. compare that to the millions of people & parents who tell their kids santa isn’t real every year (santa loses more believers than anyone else) .,.lucifers fruit is a fiery flying serpent (isaiah 14:29) -what moves more like a flying snake than mr.claus & 12 reindeer at the end of every x-mas film? 

So who is this man the kids wait for all year round? Not sure i’d be able to tell which one was coming to my town.,.

Here is one for those who have read my blog on the north pole hole and aliens; Santa employs little green men (countries at the north pole have little green men or men in green; irish leprechauns, iceland elves, gnomes, russian greys, eskimo green men = santas elves are satans aliens that live underneath the north pole in the hollow parts of earth.

Game of Thrones is Biblical

Both the Bible and the HBO series Game of Thrones have dragons, giants, eunuchs, boy kings, polygamists, crucifixions, sorcery, brutal violence, evil from the north, dreams that become prophecies, divided kingdoms, resurrection of the dead, kings order babies slaughtered on separate occasions, comets & signs of the skies are interpreted as omens, certain characters will not burn in fire, certain books keep track of kings & their genealogy, death rides on a horse, priests are sent to turn kings away from idols / false gods, only death can pay for life, there is more than one place for hell, & the trees of the old gods in Game of Thrones seem to cry blood while Jesus sweated it out in the garden (stigmata)

I recently read some online articles by evangelical christians saying that fellow believers should not watch Game of Thrones .,.i was not surprised, but felt compelled to show the many similarities between the series and the bible .,.there is perhaps more in common between the two than anyone has yet realized .,.should a good christian watch this show? .,.i don’t consider myself a good christian but personally think it is a fantastic show .,.and while it might not be as popular without the nudity & coarse language, i believe it would still be just as interesting .,.Game of Thrones has so many great characters & some of the best writing on t.v .,.some feel it promotes “false gods” or “witchcraft” but i don’t feel it does anymore so than the Chronicles of Narnia which many consider a christian series .,.can people be influenced by the bible in a negative way?; i think almost everyone would agree yes of course , it has been abused & misinterpreted .,.anyways, i’m not trying to argue either is good or bad for society in this blog .,.i was simply showing that no other t.v series has as many biblical concepts (other than shows actually based on stories from the bible) and it shouldn’t be surprising that the most popular show on television resembles the ‘greatest story ever told’.

Science and Religion

As a man who is almost always on the fence, i would like to say some things that i think few christians have realized and most scientists have overlooked.,. - both science and the bible state there was a time when earth did not exist.,. bible says god gathered all the waters into one place and let dry land appear & science says everything was one big continent pangea.,. bible says the first creatures came from the sea followed by the birds, and we know now the jellyfish is older than the dinosaurs; who are related to birds and many were feathered rather than reptile like.,. bible says there is water below and above the heavens & science confirms water is throughout the universe.,. both say the moon was made before life in the oceans was possible.,. both say man was made after the plants & animals.,. bible says man was made from the dust of the ground & science can find every periodic element that's in people within the ground.,. both say there was a time when humans were naked and not ashamed to be.,. although science does say the first people came from africa, we know there was 4 rivers going into the persian gulf (2 have dried up) where the garden of eden would have been according to the bible; & science says the first known civilization the sumerians lived right there in babylon.,. and although most (except the deep south) would agree now the earth was not created 6000 years ago in 7 days; the bible says in genesis 2 after the seven days "these are the generations of the heavens and earth when they were created, in THE DAY the Lord God made the earth and the heavens" - and seeing as it previously stated the 7 days; the writer probably did not mean a literal 24 hours but just a certain space of time; perhaps such as we say "back in the day" and there is no evidence that jews actually believed this story literally when it was first told, but was rather the christians who centuries later made it to seem that way.,. bible says jesus is light and a thousand years is like a day to god in heaven, & we know from einstein that time slows down in certain parts of space or at speeds of light.,. i personally do think there are mistakes or discrepancies in the bible, and anyone who has studied how it was written, translated, copied, edited and put together over hundreds of years should not be surprised to find them.,. but either way; what's written in a book can never prove the absence or existence of a universal intelligence or even dark energy; both are invisible forces to the naked eye but hypothetically given credit for making up the whole universe and being everywhere at once.,. like two sides of the same coin science and religion have just given the same mystery a different name, believe it is solved, and then call the other ignorant.,. anyways, god or no god; the greatest lies often have lumps of truth, & there are some amazing truths in these ancient stories that have been and will be found or confirmed in the future by science.,. these days a virgin can get pregnant with artificial insemination, the almost blind can see with help from lasers, the deaf have hearing aids, men can fly through the clouds with wingsuits, and the clinically dead are brought back to life all the time.,. not trying to take anything away from science or miracles; but some of those stories should be more acceptable now than they ever were before.,. i'm not saying you should live your life by the words in the bible, but to believe it's all just a fairy tale or has nothing good to offer is just as ignorant as a christian telling you what god is, thinks, or will do.,. religions inspire people to do great things & science makes great things possible.,. on the other hand, religions start wars and science provides the bombs.,. so treat people how you would like to be treated and respect each others opinions & beliefs because you're really not as different as you'd both like to think.,.

Call it Good

I have decided it was time to share some of my past thoughts and theories for anyone who might come looking or one day find them.,. being on disability for a number of years with plenty of spare time has allowed me to research certain areas and make many connections i otherwise would not have had the chance to .,.some will seem foolish, and others might just appear be common sense now or in the distant future .,.i will begin by posting lyrics to a song i wrote in 2013 .,.it's not one of my best songs but i feel there is some wisdom for everyone within the words .,.you can listen to this or my other music at www.reverbnation.com/lucanus

Call it good

we'll never reach the end until we figure out the start  

light can open doors to rooms that left us in the dark

everyday we figure out all over how to live

no one needs a smile as much as those with none to give

there's a bit of us in all and lots of everyone in me   

so kids you stay in school until they say you've got to leave

lights are twisting empty space & soon be turning time  

i'm trusting those who seek the truth but never claimed to find  

there's plenty things all over here that we have never seen 

the moon trips proved that we can do what once was just a dream

& proof of absence doesn't come from only lack of proof 

cuz doubt will make the mountain top that only faith can move

so chuckle with a world that's been laughing at you 

when you believe in everything; your mind be-leavin' too 

if the darkness don't remain the future won't be bright 

for if we see a shadow, then we know there is some light 

and i never feel together unless i'm there alone 

you have to know the other sides as well as just your own

i'm counting on a plan i had but never put together 

& we won't know how bad things are until they get a bit better 

i've heard it said the great mistake is being just afraid to make  

but only i can give my best & try to live without regrets,

or keep it up & then discover; truth for some is not for others

cuz shallow waters let you know but rivers deep have silent flow 

hard to tell them what they want & even more to guess

if something so small could make such a big mess

it will never be forgotten, or ever be explained

does it make you more a stranger if i don't know your name?

answered all the questions here before they came to  ask it

amazing claims require the same amount of proof to back it

of course the weak & foolish things will shame the strong & wise

they'll only take the truth if we can wrap it in disguise

but even all the best of things are followed by the worst

so make sure that your last attempt is better than your first

mysteries have come to me that make me a believer; 

truth & light are one but there are many shades of either 

studies yet to come will save stories from the past

a lie can sometimes tell a truth as good as any fact

we deserve no more than what we have and even less than that

they will give you hell until you learn to give some back

there's always hidden factors here of which we're unaware

and lotsa things we cannot feel that we still know are there

never quite sure what i'm trying to forget

but maybe it all isn't over just yet

crawling up & down the surface struggling to avoid your purpose

diving deeper down the well because you hear the echoes yell

but more than all & every else; a song above & of itself

so if these words can keep you warm i'll get on stage just to perform

so i shave my head and put a hat on

left for the music & returned for my song

though they know the words i heard nobody sings along

how could so many see the same and still be so wrong?

insight isn't just another word for inspiration 

don't confuse the shooting stars amongst the constellations

so's not to rob the world & god of all their glory

a song that we can sing 'til we forget it's just a story 

but those who think it's all a story never were informed 

ignorance is what you know but chosen to ignore

the holes of earth are filling up with what was never loved 

just behind the dust this world's been sweeping under rug

i'm occasionally sinister & frequently a jerk 

but charges good & bad is what my battery needs to work

all these type of thoughts i should be keeping to myself

when we get just what we want it turns to something else

there are times i cannot see what's written in the plan

so then i ask the universe to help me understand 

and the song has fallen short but i sung it best i could

when you don't get what you want, take what you get & call it good
