On a sunny day, what could be more refreshing than a romance that's as beautiful as it is simple? If you're looking for that kind of refreshment, then I highly recommend Behind Cut! Ki jin and Yeong woo will prove to you that love still exists and that there's nothing easier than falling in love. Like them, you could well find your soulmate on the run from an ex you met on a street corner life made you pick up for no reason.

Yeong Woo is a very positive, hard-working, and straightforward young man. He loves his life and puts his heart into everything he does, whether it's his work or caring for others. His radiant smile soon gets the better of Ki Jin, a promising apprentice designer who is putting all his energy into fulfilling his dream. As their paths cross, Ki Jin and Yeong Woo discover and accompany each other on their respective life journeys, both of which are turned completely upside down by the other. While Ki Jin sees it as a way of deepening his dream and sharing it with the person he loves, Yeong Woo sees it as a new, unknown path to discover, with no particular motivation other than his feelings for Ki Jin.

Between sweet romance and solid friendship despite the blunders, Behind Cut explores all the subjects of building relationships, trust, and discovering each other and oneself with a great deal of positivity. Despite some difficult moments, the well-written plot takes us down well-trodden paths with a unique twist. The highly engaging characters will make you lose all sense of time and plunge you into an everyday reality that will seem almost too real to be true. The excellent acting combined with the high-quality direction of this series makes it a must-see!

Behind Cut will take you back to the fragility of young people discovering themselves and love at the same time but without any of the frills. You'll be immersed in a daily life stripped of any excessive narration. Let yourself be lulled by the simple, pungent feelings of our protagonists, who experience both the pain and the sweetness of love. The only negative point: eight episodes are far too few to enjoy a story of this quality...

Who said autumn was the season of cold weather coming back and leaves falling from the trees on this side of the hemisphere? Because this autumn, we were served with one of the hottest shows ever, so hot that it could warm your heart in a second! I know you guys didn’t miss it out but in case you did, here’s a short review to make you crave for Love in the air in a few words. I swear you will run to watch it after reading that paper, thinking you were a fool for missing such a needed thing in life to make it complete.

Rain is a student in architecture. Very innocent and a little dense, he is easy to tease for someone who likes playing people they have a liking for. His carefree side will create trouble for him, and intensify the sparkles in his relationship with his soon-to-be boyfriend. Crossing paths with Payu, one the most handsome senior of his faculty, he will start to see him more and more due to what seems to be coincidences to him. But the more he gets to know him, the more he finds himself drawn to this charismatic man who makes him discover a way of love he didn’t think he had in him. Letting go of his attempt to seduce the Belle of his prom, he will realise soon enough that he might as well have someone else in mind, for an experience he doesn’t have control over at all.

Left alone at one of the races Rain asked him to bring him along, Sky will also find himself drawn to a man he never thought he would have a chance to get close to. With a darker past that will give him many hardships in his new relationship, Sky is initially reluctant to let Prapai, Payu’s best friend and a renowned playboy, into his life. Trying to heal himself while allowing him to experience love, Sky’s relationship with Prapai is not nearly as smooth as Rain and Payu’s. Facing their insecurities and fears, they will have to dive into themselves to find a safe ground for their overwhelming feelings for each other.

Giving you the high intensity of a passionate relationship, Love in the air doesn’t lack in delivering an interesting story with well-construct characters to whom you will quickly become attached to. Using a classic picture in BL couples, the sweetness the two couples deliver will make you yearn for more of them. Excellently played, you feel the quality of the direction through those way-too-short 13 episodes, making it one of the reasons this series is so good.

Through this use of unoriginal patterns, they perfectly manage to shine a light on what makes it unoriginal and people coming back to it. Delving into the feelings of love from four different points of view, the highlight of the series on the chemistry between the lovers and their feelings is a success. Trust me, you won’t be able to get free from it!

Perfect for lazying around, this easy-going but not-too-simple story will make you feel hard the loneliness of being single. Don’t get me wrong. Even if you feel this way, you won’t be able to stop yourself from rewatching it. You will slowly drown in this sweet addiction of not being able to go on from a show that made you feel the feeling you were craving. A piece of advice: don’t spend one more day not knowing Love in the air. You will regret it later.

Enjoy the innocence of a beautiful love between two teenagers and their friends who try to find their place in this world for a beautiful journey that will lighten your mood!  

Ye Guang and Xu Qi Zhang have nothing in common apart from the fact that they go to the same high school. Qi Zhang has his eyes on Ye Guang but the latter only knew about his existence way later. Starting with a very caring friendship, the two boys will go through what life brings as hardship at this period of time with the most supportive attitude. Discovering love at the same time, the sweetness of their relationship contrasts well with the maturity and the depth of the one their two friends will experience together.

Exploring feelings of love through the eyes of inexperienced yet thoughtful young men, this drama gives a flowery touch through a story that has darker shades subtly hiding behind the bubble light of the plot. Very soft in appearance, it goes at the bottom of subjects as being a high schooler with expectations on their shoulders, with dreams, weaknesses, and a soft point for thrills that makes them do mistakes before they think. If the drama gives you mainly the softness and cuteness you are looking for in a high school romance, it also delivers just the right amount of spice and heaviness you need to make it interesting and well-balanced.

Adding to the extremely well-written script, the excellence of the acting and the execution makes it a top-tier drama that shouldn’t be missed out! Never giving you too much or too little, you will be yearning for that delicate yet simple sweetness the relationship between those two couples of four boys makes you feel during those way-too-short eight episodes.

Lovers of non-complicated romances that are more oriented on the feelings the couple will develop than the external difficulties they will go through, make yourself a big cup of hot chocolate and get that warm blanket you use for movie nights because you will need it: you won’t be able to stop once you’ve started!

We are always surprised to find ourselves faced with all these questions and this seemingly unattainable quest, just as Mitsuomi was when he suddenly left his job in a regular office on a whim.

Having left for Tokyo ten years earlier, on bad terms with his parents, Mitsuomi finds it very difficult to come to terms with his sudden return to the countryside. His meeting with Yamato, the adopted son of a village grandfather, saves him from this state of uncertainty. Rediscovering the harshness of country life in a new light, the presence of the young boy with his cheerful and dynamic character will gradually help him to regain a taste for life.

Accompanying Mitsuomi in her rediscovery of the value of life and what really matters, of the meaning to be given to it, and of the link that unites her to the world, Yamato will also make his own internal journey to discover love. Deprived of parental love as a child, his meeting with the Tokyoite will confront him with difficulty he thought insurmountable: to love someone and to live this love fully. If the path is difficult, he will face it courageously, driven by his desire to share his life with Mistuomi.

You’ve always asked yourself how it is to be in an actor's skin? To work on a character that is entirely different than your true self? And if it impacts the actor to play such a different character? So many questions that Method is exploring and giving one answer between many. Melted with a difficult love story, it makes a very dense and complex plot that plunges you deeply into the story from the start.

In terms of acting, Jae Ha has his own method to be the perfect actor for whatever character he has to play. His method of acting is also well known: he embodies the character’s personality for as long as the rehearsal and the play last. Young-woo is completely opposed to him at first. Unwilling to perform the play, he shows a growing interest in his senior for his passion and this famous method. Following it very consciously, he finally finds himself diving into his character’s personality. Everything could have been fine if the two actors didn’t grow feelings for each other. Things start to go sour when Young-woo asks him to make their relationship official. Scared by his own feelings and the instability of his situation with Hee-won, his current girlfriend, Jae-Ha backs down and loses himself in the complexity of the situation he has to face. But Young-woo doesn’t hear it that way and is ready to embody his character to the tip of his fingers…

Delving into the difficult faces of acting and its deep questionings, Method is also an exploration of people facing discoveries in their sexuality. Keeping an old love for the safety it provides instead of going for a new passionate one or completely diving into new feelings to experience them to the core are two different directions our protagonists will take. Perfectly played and directed, the vibe and emotions the movie gives you make you walk faster into the plot every second. Leading to an intense ending, you will find yourself questioning what is real and what isn’t, losing the sense of reality for a moment, just like Jae-Ha who finds himself losing everything but the only person who still accepts him with his cowardice and uncertainties: His girlfriend.

Through this sad and torturing love story where you see two lovers destroying each other and reaching the worst state of what love can give you, it’s an intense and rich journey you will experience with Method. Love is as hard as acting, and mixing both isn’t the best match may be the real lesson Method is giving us. We are left with the main question of the movie unanswered: who is the best actor in the end?

Time travel, time loops, murders... Triage has all the action and drama to draw you in at its fast pace in a dense plot that won't leave you time to breathe between episodes. Focusing on the evolution of human beings in contact with each other, this beautiful romantic drama is an amazing elegy to the beauty of human beings in their ability to change to become better.

Tin is an emergency room doctor who runs between near-death patients every day. His routine is shattered when he comes face to face with Tol, a student who has been in a car accident and is in critical condition. After failing to save him, he wakes up again on the morning of the day of the accident, and has to save him once more, but without success. As the time loops progress, he eventually realises that he must solve the situation that leads to Tol's death if he is to be able to save him and finally break out of this time loop. But as he gets to know the young man, another goal is added to that of saving: that Tol should fall in love with him... Locked in a hopeless struggle, having to juggle his feelings with the boy's recurring amnesia, he is a tortured doctor fighting against a destiny that he wants to change at all costs for the sake of his patient and his own good.

Tol will gradually change through contact with the doctor. Understanding his own mistakes and trying to repair them, step by step, he discovers himself in a new light, with a lot of maturity and distance. Tin, on the other hand, will see himself changed by his repeated attempts to save the boy. Constantly confronted with the limits of their possibilities in these constant time travels, they will experience a tortured romance, alternately finding themselves having to deal with a repetition of their own history.

Very well acted and directed, this drama will bring you a breath of fresh air in this vast category of BL drama with its original story. With the air of TENET or Stein Gate but without the technicality, the suspense is maintained until the end and it's up to you to watch it to find out the question that keeps nagging at you throughout the 13 episodes: will their love story have a happy ending? I won't say any more...

Fans of mafia stories will love this drama that straddles the line between drama and comedy. Combining these two genres in a very surprising way, it offers a condensed romance and action in a very short time of 5 episodes. Every minute is well thought out and nothing is left to chance, making this series a nugget not to be missed!

Tak Woo Suk and Yeon Seung Ho meet a little by chance, at the bend of a self-published novel on a site of which one is the author and the other the regular reader. Immediately attracted to each other, they start dating very quickly, in the cutest way possible. These moments spent with Seung Ho allow Woo Suk to forget his life in the mafia and the violent activities that he condemns. But not everything goes according to plan, and he realizes to his dismay that the person he trusted may not be as innocent as he seemed.

Although the story is very dramatic on the surface, the light-hearted relationship and the awkward but sincere interactions of the two lovers bring a nice touch of cheerfulness to this sad background. While the drama remains present, it never really takes over the whole scene. You will appreciate this couple who will make you laugh and smile, as much as the numerous and wonderfully well-done action scenes. Thrills and laughter are guaranteed, that's what you have to remember about this original series with an unconventional story. The direction chosen for the unfolding of this drama is quite interesting, and the excellent acting, as well as the excellent direction, make this series worth watching!

A good character development, no character is left aside and this is something you greatly appreciate in the plot twist. To take your mind off your day, Long Time No See is the perfect drama to spice up your day!

Beautiful tragedy in the 1930's China (ノへ￣、)

If this is the first time you've heard of this magnificent tragedy set in early 20th century China, ravaged by the scourge of opium introduced by the British in the wake of the Opium Wars, then take these few minutes to read this review and be convinced to watch it. The two protagonists both want the good of the people of the city of Jingcheng, but each achieves their goal in different ways. Everything seems to oppose them at first sight, yet they will soon find themselves working together to foil a terrible political plot to bring down the city in the hands of the country's biggest opium trafficker.

Jiang Yuelou, a policeman, and Chen Yuzhi, a renowned doctor in the city, meet in a rather brutal way, one ending up behind bars for being suspected of collusion with the traffickers by the other. From there, everything goes wrong! The doctor's younger sister suddenly disappears while he is in prison, and the police fail to catch the head of the opium ring in Jingcheng. After a trip to Hong Kong, the two young men become allies, and then friends, and realise that the ring is much bigger than they thought. Deciding to put a definitive end to this evil that is ravaging so many lives, they plunge into the heart of the problem, putting their lives on the line to discover the one behind it all, San Ye.

Between betrayals and unacknowledged feelings, the plot, rather banal at first, quickly develops, creating a complexity that makes you want to go all the way to the end to find out the final word. Filled with action, murder, and manipulation of all kinds, you will quickly find yourself thrown from crime scenes to hostage situations, from chases to plot twists. The numerous characters of the series, their diversity, and their always very well-worked-out stories make this series a little marvel whose condensed emotions are appreciated. If the tendency is rather tragic, the relationships between each of them bring a great sweetness and a particular touch of sensitivity to this weighty story.

One of the strong points of this drama is the evolution of its characters. Each episode plunges us a little more into their psychology, past, and apprehensions. As endearing as enjoyable, it quickly becomes difficult to face the numerous deaths that precipitate a little more the tragic end of this drama. A dramatic plunge into a completely exotic universe thanks to the perfectly realised immersion in China at the beginning of the last century gives this picture a little bit extra to make it a collector's item worth seeing. Excellent acting, breathtaking scenery, everything is done in Killer and Healer to leave you with an unforgettable memory of this series!

Are you looking for a beautiful love story but don't mind having your heart rocked by the intense emotions of the main characters? Do you like complex personalities and strong emotions? Then you'll love Life: Love on the line! A beautiful love story between Ito and Nishi, this series deals with the difficult issue of self-acceptance through love.

Ito is a high school student who lives disconnected from reality, in his own world. One day, while walking on a white line under which he imagines there is lava, he meets another high school student who does the same thing as him. Quickly connecting through their uniqueness, the two boys become friends and then lovers. Moving forward as a couple enjoying their youth and love, the two lovers however find themselves at a turning point in their relationship as they enter the workforce. Nishi seems to have difficulty accepting himself and his mother's vision of the 'normal individual' in society, whereas Ito is embracing life and who he is with determination. Nishi chooses to live up to his mother's expectations and rejects Ito. But as time goes by, he realizes that none of this makes him happy, and eventually accepts himself completely, imposing on his mother the person he is: the one who loves Ito.

A beautiful exploration of love in general, the importance of a couple evolving in harmony and the influence of society on homosexual couples, this series will take you on a journey of very strong emotions as you follow Nishi and Ito. Although the script is rather simple on paper, the direction and acting make this a very high quality series. With its accurate portrayal of the protagonists' feelings, fans of realistic dramas with a happy ending will appreciate the journey of Life: Love on the line!

You’re a romantic who likes comedies that make you smile as much as they make you sigh in pain ? You like characters that are simple and easy to read ? With a plot that is interesting but not too complicated on the feelings themselves ? Then you will like First Love Again !

Yeon Seok is a very uncommon novelist, unlike what he seems to be in the eyes of the others. He is indeed living his third life and is looking for his first love he met in his very first life, Jeong Ha Yeon, hoping to have a happy ending with them. Things don’t go as planned at all and he is at first disappointed to see that she’s reincarnated as a man. But it doesn’t take long for him to fall for Ha Yeon again, whatever his genre ! Yeon Seo will struggle figuring out his feelings, confused at first about the way things turned, and his confusion will hurt Ha Yeon who will doubt his feelings too. Taking you on a beautiful path, this nice comedy serves you a very well made plot that is what makes this series so good. With that nice touch of supernatural in this sweet comedy-like romance, it gives it a lot of originality as you don’t find plots like that very often. Add to that well-crafted characters that compliment this well-written plot and you have a very unique drama ! The only negative point is that the series is a little too short… Some few more episodes would have made it richer in its developments, even though it is not really lacking. It has the potential to be even better !

Well played and well produced, you dive in smoothly in this light romance, very flowery and which will make you feel butterflies in your stomach ! What better way to spend a nice and comforting evening than with a simple happy ending romantic comedy with an interesting plot ? Prepare your tea and you just have to enjoy…

Note : A very interesting and well played character is Mikael ! Their presence in the plot adds a lot to the greatness of the drama. This character deserves a note to underline his importance to the high quality of the series !

On a summer break, with the sun’s ray surfing on the waves of the deep blue ocean, this drama will take you back to your youthful love and its sweetness. Very soft on the delivery of emotions, this drama explores the relationship between two young boys who discover love as they discover their feelings for each other.

Nagisa and Shun meet at the beach under pretty weird circumstances. Nagisa asks Shun to keep an eye on his board while he tries to catch his girlfriend who got angry at him. But Shun falls in the see while taking a picture and loses his keys. He then gets rescued by the family who runs the surfboard store Nagisa hangs at when he’s at the beach. If Nagisa knows about his sexual orientation since a long time ago, Shun seems to be less certain about it. Taking their time to explore the different relationships they build during this short period of time, knowing they will have to separate at the end of the break, they slowly and clumsily make their way to each other. Heart breaking when they are struggling with their feelings, trying to find out who they truly love and for those who are left asides in this love story that is written with only two names, it stays very gentle and cute until the end.

The softness and tenderness of the two boys is pretty much what makes the story go on. Not only focusing on the two main characters’ emotions, this drama is also a very realistic story about love and its disappointments, its unfairness and its unpredictability. Though, it never fully takes the bad side of it, leaving you with a taste of bittersweetness at the end. The only negative point about it is the lack of physical connexion, but if  stories focused on exploring emotions and feelings are more your stuff, then you will love His : I didn’t think I would fall in love !

Are you looking for a simple and classic story to relax? We best love is the series for you! Starting from the typical worst enemies relationship, it develops a very nice relationship between the two main characters, with little drama and a lot of affection.

Gao Shi De does everything he can to get noticed by Zhou Shu Yi, and the best way to do that is to get there first everywhere. Shu Yi's competitive spirit is stung to the core! He starts to consider Shi De as his rival and this goes all the way to the university where he starts to try to trap him in the spirit of revenge. Happy to get his attention, Shi De takes the opportunity to help him overcome his heartbreak with his first crush. Finally discovering Gao Shi De's feelings, it doesn't take long for Shu Yi to fall in love with him. If the first season ends on a very light note despite a few months of separation, the second season starts off on a much more dramatic foot. Using a clichéd situation of a father refusing his son's homosexual relationship, it develops into a very nice internal exploration of feelings, much more mature than the first season which remains rather in the youthful love fibre.

The strong point of We Best Love is above all the quality of the acting and the story itself. Using many clichés such as the chaebol's temperamental nature and habit of being served, one of the characters falling in love with the other regardless of gender but only because it is him, and the development of a worst enemies relationship into a couple, the quality of the series itself goes beyond these aspects and makes it an excellent series. For fans of no-holds-barred stories and cute couples, We Best Love will take you on a sweet and emotional journey through the relationship of Goa Shi De and Zhou Shi Yu.

If you're looking for a romance with just the right amount of drama and a healthy dose of tenderness to give you hope, then You make me dance is the series for you! Taking the path of the impossible love story, it actually takes the less arduous and far more enjoyable path of the slightly dramatic but ultimately passionate romance.

Song Si On is a dance student who lives alone after his mother remarries. Optimistic and enthusiastic by nature, he doesn't let his precarious situation get him down, even on the day Jin Hong Seok appears outside his house to collect his debts. Who would have thought that this encounter would have softened the cold and apathetic Hong Seok to the point of vouching for the young student? With an audition for a lead role in sight that will allow him to pay off his loan, Si On finds himself living under the same roof as the debt collector who is determined to take meticulous care of him to ensure his success on audition day.

Dramatic in its substance, the story is delivered with a lightness that will make you smile and brings a nice touch of colour to this difficult story for our two main characters. The feelings they develop for each other through an initially doomed relationship are described with a gentleness that reveals the tenderness of their emotions. In keeping with the springtime atmosphere of early May, you will love this drama for its ability to convey intense emotions through the music and the personalities of its very touching characters. You will be moved by Si On's desperate passion and Hong Seok's awkward attentions, who always knows how to cheer him up in difficult times, although he doesn't always make the right choices regarding him.

An original and refreshing story, You make me dance will take you on a little pink cloud that makes it rain from time to time, but arrives at its destination after having gone through the bad weather of winter. Between dance and snow, this lovely romantic drama, very well acted and equally well written, is not to be missed!
