saying “im voting for Hillary” does not mean “i condone everything she’s done” it really means that not voting for her would basically be supporting her opponents WHO ARE 5 BILLION TIMES WORSE If you choose not to vote in the next election because you don’t agree with hillary 100%, you’re not helping anyone but the nasty republican running against her
Voting is not about finding a candidate that you love but rather examining all the ones that appear and deciding which one better suits your view of what the future should be like. And if you’re consistently disappointed with the selection presented you should become more active in politics, not less. People who don’t get involved in politics like to wash their hands off the whole thing, claim when the time comes that “it wasn’t their fault”. By not voting you’re taking a stand, not refraining from doing so.
i want abled people to remember this when they discuss voting laws and voter suppression
it is illegal for developmentally and intellectually disabled people to vote in 39 states
at least 70% of polling sites nationwide are physically inaccessible and less than half of these sites offer curbside voting
disabled people are about 20% less likely to vote than abled people
particularly when this is addressed, we need to examine how this first and foremost affects disabled trans and/or people of color, who are already suffocated by such toxic laws from the axes of gender and/or race, only to be further harmed by institutionalized ableism
What is your schools website so that I can order the Condom Fairy?
My school was Boston University, but it’s for students only. They only deliver on campus.
Watch: Study finds women are going to have to wait decades for equal pay — and ‘The Daily Show’ is rightfully furious
Whenever I see your post I'm like hell yeah BU did something good with the condom fairy that's almost worth the thousands spent (not even being sarcastic, ya feel)
True life. The condom fairy is dope.
someone pretty please make a gchatsfromhillary tumblr
guess where abstinence-only education is taught
I UNDERSTAND.
The fact that his response was "I understand". Priceless.
What if you got the power to talk to animals but it turned out that animals are all aggressively Christian and keep trying to get you to come to youth group

Waiting for the day when all women of the world has the right of a choice. The right to their own bodies.
“In 2002, having spent more than three years in one residence for the first time in my life, I got called for jury duty. I show up on time, ready to serve. When we get to the voir dire, the lawyer says to me, “I see you’re an astrophysicist. What’s that?” I answer, “Astrophysics is the laws of physics, applied to the universe—the Big Bang, black holes, that sort of thing.” Then he asks, “What do you teach at Princeton?” and I say, “I teach a class on the evaluation of evidence and the relative unreliability of eyewitness testimony.” Five minutes later, I’m on the street. A few years later, jury duty again. The judge states that the defendant is charged with possession of 1,700 milligrams of cocaine. It was found on his body, he was arrested, and he is now on trial. This time, after the Q&A is over, the judge asks us whether there are any questions we’d like to ask the court, and I say, “Yes, Your Honor. Why did you say he was in possession of 1,700 milligrams of cocaine? That equals 1.7 grams. The ‘thousand’ cancels with the ‘milli-’ and you get 1.7 grams, which is less than the weight of a dime.” Again I’m out on the street.”
powerful Black Science Man
Exactly.
“I teach a class on the evaluation of evidence and the relative unreliability of eyewitness testimony.” Five minutes later, I’m on the street.
This is a good illustration of what’s wrong with the US criminal justice system.
I’m more struck by the second anecdote, in which he was evidently disqualified from jury duty for displaying the ability to do math.

If you use YouTube, you need to know this.
You’ve heard all these rumblings about Net Neutrality over the past several months. Let’s get real: this is about controlling online video. It is estimated that by 2017, video content will account for 80-90% of all global Internet traffic.
This isn’t just about not being able to binge-watch a series on Netflix. It’s about the future of online video as we know it.
Whether your YouTube channel is home to daily vlogs, short films, or just that one video from when the cinnamon challenge seemed like a good idea, you’re a video creator. Your content and comments help shape this community. Let’s keep it that way.
Net Neutrality means that your YouTube videos reach people at the same speed as clips from last night’s episode of the Tonight Show. It means a level playing field for video creators looking to reach an audience. But new Net Neutrality rules could mess that up.
Here’s the deal: Telecommunications companies already charge us to access the Internet through our homes and our phones. New FCC rules could allow them to also charge content providers (like YouTube, Netflix, and even PBS) for access to our eyeballs. It could create a fast lane for Jimmy Fallon’s clips, and slow lane for your YouTube videos.
It is really important that the FCC understands that online video creators care about Net Neutrality. Even if you’ve only ever uploaded ONE VIDEO, you are a creator and you have a voice.
If you can, please add your channel to our petition. We’ll deliver this to the FCC in September and demonstrate that the online video community cares about this issue.
Sign the petition, then spread the word.
okay but when you have holocaust survivors and people who were activists during the civil rights movement supporting mike brown and then KKK members and neo nazi’s supporting the officer you should be able to figure out which side is the right one.
