I love your snow leopard hybrid Robert posts, but may I suggest: clouded leopard hybrid Robert!

Like most children of the 90s/00s, I was introduced to the Clouded Leopard via "Rugrats Go Wild" - so you can imagine the whiplash of seeing one as a villainous beast to... babey cat.

Note: the Rugrats depiction isn't even size accurate - they're about as small as a greyhound.

This photo is of a near-adult (about 8 months old) at San Diego Zoo;

Nature basically went "What if I make smaller big cat for big trees?" and boom Clouded Leopard.

The Latin name of the Mainland Clouded Leopard - Neofelis nebulosa - is a reference to their nebula-shaped markings.

There's also the Sunda/Bornean Clouded Leopard thats a little darker furred. There are other subspecies that have been sadly lost to time.

They live all over warmer areas of South and East Asia, and have been found even in the lower Himalayas. Their historical range could be even larger.

They don't consider humans food, since they coexist naturally with Orangutans. Everything else in their environment - squirrels, monkeys, pangolins, red pandas, porcupines, deer, hog etc - is fair game though.

And being the cat with the Largest Tooth to Head Size, you can see why.

(note; these big teeth actually causes them to fumble mating rituals since it involved biting the female's neck. A rough or inexperienced male can seriously harm their mates on complete accident.)

Fun fact, they are not considered "true" Big Cats due to their genealogy, even though they have the Big Cat trait of flexible vocal cords.

In the case of Robert being a Clouded Leopard hybrid, it's very on-brand!

Tiny, deadly, can survive long falls, and has big adorable brown eyes.

Now I'm just imagining Robert sleeping in a sunbeam, and the Z-Team experiencing extreme cuteness aggression. XD

Chase warns z team not touch Roberts belly. Even if it looks like he's offering it prism, sonar, and Phenomaman all have massive scratches running up their arm's while Victor fur is wet and sticking down because Robert gave him a bath after grabbing his arm.

Flambae cannot resist giving Cat!Robert a belly rub.

Flambae had to go to medical for stitches.

He will not learn his lesson. He loves cats after all.

Note; Flambae has called in late to missions because "A really big kitty cat fell asleep on my car, and I don't want to move him." - Robert can't help that the parking lot has good napping spots.

Phenomaman knows how precious regular cats are, but assumes that the same level of adoration and care is required for their bigger cousins. Robert has been unexpected petted many a time. Phenomaman thinks the biting and scratches are the same as cat playing behaviour.

Prism is a lot wiser to big cats, but she couldn't resist the temptation when Robert rolled over, exposing his stomach to her. ("You lying muthafucker!" she yells as he play fights her arm.)

Robert could be doing something stupid/reckless, and he just gives Chase the big kitty eyes like he did as a kitten. Works almost every time.

Robert has to be very gentle when Beef wants to play-fight, since they're very different fight classes.

Its like seeing a Great Dane playing with a puppy.

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

I hc that Waterboy wasn't even aware for the longest time that his water healed things - he does need to be taught how to do so in-game. He just thinks kisses are naturally healing.

Kisses a cat's injured paw, and it heals like magic.

Bus drivers in the Torrance just have to get used to an odd lil creature sneaking on board.

Mecha Man Remnant

Sad "Character from a doomed dimension/timeline lands in canon"- idea I shared in my buddies discord.

A dimension rift occurs.

Its like a blue supernova in the sky.

An unkempt older man falls out of it.

It's Robbie Robertson... if he had survived to the present day.

He looks haggard but hopeful. He immediately asks responding SDN operatives on the status of the Brave Brigade, only to be shocked to learn that they have not been active in over a decade. He's led back to SDN Torrance for evaluation.

He refuses to explain himself until he sees Trackstar - upon which Robbie becomes visibly distressed. He brings the older-than-he-should-be speedster into a crushing hug, like he hasn't seen him in years.

Robbie explains the situation. The Brave Brigade were fighting an unexpected wave of high-powered villains, and were slowly picked off one by one. Robbie, beaten and about to be killed, decided to activate an untested idea with the Astral Pulse - creating the dimensional rift

Chase: "I died in battle?" Robbie, shaken: "N- no... no you didn't"

Blazer and Trackstar are obviously freaking out, knowing that this is going to mess with Robert if he sees an alternate version of his dad walking around. But they are further shocked when old!Robbie lets out a choked cry;

Robbie: "Robert? He's... he's here? All... grown up?"

Thats where it clicks.

This Mecha Man Astral was still active in his timeline for one major reason:

That fateful day in 1999 - Trackstar didn't make it in time.

In that timeline Robert Robertson died as a little boy, leaving his father grieving, remorseful, and broken.

By the time of his world's 2022,#; Robbie Robertson is a shell of his former self - living only for his work.

A father without a son.

Oh Robbie is going to want to fight his alternate self with he sees what he’s done to Robert!

Also the words ‘You weren’t fast enough.’ For him not being able to save Robert in the other dimension is going to haunt him.
