Info on my three OCs who live on the island below the cut!
The world I’ve created for my OCs involves a world that used to be populated by Enchanters, both Light and Dark (idrk the difference, dark enchanters are just more intense and they can also do scary things like shoot fire from their fingertips) as well as multiple nature spirits. The Enchanters almost went extinct eventually due to a plot by their enemies to corrupt them, but one of the corrupted Enchantresses who’d survived but lost her memories would go on to save their world and bring them back. All of my Mii OCs, however, are from the period of time before they went extinct.
OC 1: Mandi Wren. (She/her) A human woman with light brown shoulder length hair and green eyes, she is a well-known Light Enchantress. She was a bit of a late bloomer when it came to her powers, and there’s nothing super notable about her, other than her ability to not let the state of things get her down. (Not that she has to worry about that now, because nothing awful has happened in this timeline lol) She is in love with Vice, and the story of how they met is certainly something. Vice was possessed by an evil spirit, and killed Mandi’s mentor, so Mandi killed her, but that drove the spirit out and the spirit attacked Mandi, so Vice killed the spirit and saved her before she died, except she cheated death (more on that under Vice’s description) and they reunited and fell in love.
OC 2: Vice Peridot. (She/they) A Dark Enchanter chaos-spirit. She has golden eyes, red hair (literally red like spaghetti sauce) with black streaks, black horns, red patterns on her skin (like something out of KPDH) and these red things around her eyes that kind of look like a feathery mask growing from her face. Her lore is… interesting. There is a lot of lore to where she grew up, but basically there were sorcerers and chaos spirits there, and you did not want to live as a chaos spirit there because the sorcerers were just that awful. But then the sorcerers got a new leader and kicked out the bad ones, but one of the bad ones had stolen the recipe for life from the chaos-spirits (they don’t really reproduce, they just cast a spell and a baby appears lol) and created a baby, but the baby was a chaos spirit too and the “mother” wanted her dead because of that. The Dark Enchantress, Shawna, showed up to assist the good guys, and helped heal the baby, but the baby turned out to be more Dark Enchanter than chaos-spirit, so Shawna adopted the baby and named her Vice. Vice grew up as part Dark Enchanter and part chaos-spirit. When they turned 18 they attempted to drive off an evil spirit that was trying to kill people and turn their ghosts into evil spirits as well, and they failed and the spirit possessed them. The spirit didn’t attempt control her until two years later, when it made her kill a Light Enchanter she encountered, but the guilt made her able to fight off the spirit long enough for the other Enchanter, Mandi, to kill her by cutting out part of her heart (much less gory than it sounds, it was a magical blade and more cut out the idea of a heart, like something keeping her alive) and the spirit left her to take over Mandi, but Vice regained their consciousness and killed the spirit, saving Mandi. She died wishing she could have more time, and return the favor because she saw Mandi as having saved their life from the spirit, and she basically wanted that so much that she got reincarnated as a manticore. Manticore!Vice had no memories of her past life except that there was someone she wanted to find again. Five years later another Dark Enchantress chaos-spirit (the lead sorcerer’s eldest daughter, incidentally) found them, recognized them, and helped turn them back into Vice. She reunited with Mandi and they soon became a couple, and also reunited with her mother but decided not to become her heir this time around.
OC 3: Shawna Peridot. (She/her) Vice’s mother, a Dark Enchantress, and later the Empress. She has red hair (in a more human way, not red like Vice) and likes to dress in simple dresses and cloaks, though for a long time her job required her to wear extremely fancy clothes. She was an assistant to the previous Emperor, while also being the last Dark Enchantress. She’d had plans to find others like her, and one day she’d visited the place where the sorcerers were, intending to recruit others, specifically the new leader, but at the leader’s request she wound up adopting a child instead. It happens. She raised Vice as a mixture of chaos spirit and Dark Enchantress. After Vice’s death-that-didn’t-stick, the Emperor stepped down and handed the throne to Shawna. Shawna helped everyone through a war, also recruiting more Enchanters, both Light and Dark. The island is permanently in the time before the Enchanters were almost all killed, but there is a little anachronism in her Mii design: her Mii design has scarring across the left side of her face, which canon Shawna didn’t receive until the corruption reached her palace and one of her fellow Enchanters attempted to kill her by driving her fire attacks back at her.
