😺 If you would have told me when this picture was taken a little over a month ago that I would be employed as a Social Media Marketer for a company in Newport Beach, I would NOT have believed it! 😸 🇺🇸 Coming back to America, I was SO nervous because I was planning on changing my career to a field that was previously just a hobby. However, I put myself out there and managed to have a great interview! 🤗 🙈 I think having short hair helped to some extent because I already have to be braver than usual just by walking out the door. So when it came to the interview, I squared my shoulders, kept a smile on my face, and was very honest. 😊 👀 When I could see the doubt creeping through because of my lack of experience, I offered to go through a test. I asked for "homework." Give me an assignment, and I WILL prove myself. I will hand in a writing sample that'll show that yes, I CAN do this job, and do it WELL. ✔ 🙏 Thankfully, that is exactly what happened! I spent a good 6 hours researching and editing my "homework." I sent it out in the morning with my heart racing and my fingers crossed. The rest is history. 🤞 😍 Thank you so much to everyone who sent me messages of support before, and messages of congratulations after I got the job!
