Sharks help balance the ecosystem out, not enough sharks in places that need sharks (so anywhere except Antarctica and the arctic pretty much) leads to an overabundance of herbivores and corallivores, which then munch their way through all the algae and coral leaving not enough for it to recover from grazing and not enough habitat for other things to live in. Stop shark culling and unsustainable fishing practices such as finning. (Did you know only, like, 7-9% of shark fins on the market are landed attached to the shark? And many fins come from species that cannot be sustainable fished in the quantities that they are.)
