(another) Happy Birthday to Pride and Prejudice (2005)!
EMMA. (2020) dir. Autumn de Wilde
This was shared as a "bad" joke but I was so charmed by it I've been thinking about it for days.
Moose at the next table: No they don't. I've been waiting here for an hour.
White broken racists deciding who stays and who goes should be your red line.
Because you'll be next.
Deportation is a process, not a fever dream for white criminals to wear masks and kidnap people.
I try and avoid engagementbait when I can but look at his EYES

For no reason here is a library story
There will be millions of actions like this over the coming years. An important thing to remember is that for them to work (anywhere, not just libraries) is people absolutely canât announce that this is what they are doing.
Not seeing constant acts of resistance doesnât mean it isnât happening all around you all the time. Some very effective methods require silence and secrecy.
Something to keep in mind.
Ever since I was a little girl Iâve loved information
I can 100% vouch for Occam's Cat
it wasn't "some reason", it was 2D animators being unionized and 3D not being unionized. and the simple truth that capitalism kills art.
I remember when 2D faded out, the reason studios kept giving was "it's because 2D is a lot more expensive to produce". I was a child back then so I didn't think too much about it, assuming it was about the process itself, but as I grew up and learned more about art as an artist, and gained friends who were professional 3D artists themselves, I started to question it. Because 3D is very different from 2D, but it's definitely not easier or faster to make. Also, both European and Asian studios kept producing 2D animated movies
The answer was unions. The answer wasn't "this kind of art is cheaper because it's easier to make", it was "this kind of art is cheaper because these artists can't force us to pay them correctly"
Youâve heard of one shots, now get ready for none shots! Itâs when you think of an idea for a fic and then donât write it
