This is actually pretty close to the first iteration of a collage I've already finalized. Reusing pieces and graphics is fun, it's interesting to see how things change based on their context and what else is around them; nothing exists in a vacuum.

I started this one almost exactly 3 years ago (OG save date is Aug 6 2024:); I finished it recently, so the internet is now blessed with yet another image created by me. It's raining from TS Debby atm, so not very sunny, but the sun isn't what's being illuminated here. I wish people with large incomes a very good 𝘱𝘭𝘻 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴.

Been thinking a lot about portals lately; it's interesting how moments act like doorways at times. Astrology may not be real, but energy is, and so are our chains to the forward movement of time.

Some drawn and scanned things, some found things, some recycled things, some processed things; it felt good to be at the digital drawing board again. This is a small, surreal, silly and wierd ode to whatever threshold we passed recently. I hope that we can turn this stuff towards the better rather than the worse.

Rebranding a bit around here...more just solidifying some of the ambient themes to ensure the communication of slight professionalism, as well as the intention of business.

Stay tuned for more cool, visual things; and if you or anyone you know needs some art, design, or would like to collaborate, please send me a message🐬 I enjoy the idea of doing album art/design, packaging/label stuff, hand drawn type, analog art collaborative efforts, magazine/zine creative efforts, typesetting, and many other things that I may or may not be aware of yet!

I named this Ultramarine Aquatics because I don't actually know a lot about water creatures and the ocean's ecosystem, but that makes it more beautiful to me. What is the ocean but the birthplace of all this Earthly life? Water itself has always held an intrique to me, and it's pervasiveness in this world speaks to the kind of projects I want to do: the kind that you could see anywhere in any environment, and it's still a point of interest and life. No, it will never be generic, as life specializes based on resources, context, and environment, and it will never be the same for this reason, too. Unless we're talking about the crab shape, of course.

𝟑 𝕭𝖆𝖙𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖘, 𝟑 𝖂𝖆𝖞𝖘

I started this in the summer of 2021, and I finally had the right pieces fall together last night. I don't know if that particular succulent is relavent to bats or not, but these are the things that I'm thinking about in my newer works. Please enjoy these vaporwave bats! I'll be making prints of these soon.

Also, just a reminder that I do commissions! Would love to do some album art and/or identity work, book cover art, gig posters, and even collaborative work-- would also be really thrilled to make some eye-catching stuff for scientific data, however that is done! I am still investigating this...

life's been hard lately; here's an old mood board. i think it's plain to see that i've always loved vibrant color and impactful visuals.

Hey y'all! It's been a solid sec since I've been here; I definitely had some life stuff going on, but we move, as Bri says. Here is another sneak of a thing; I think I'm almost done with it, just in the texture and finalization stage.

That being said, I'll have to figure out how to print it very soon, too! (It's a poster). If you have any knowledge on the best way to print digital art in a quality higher than inkjet and on nice paper, I would be happy to hear what you may know. This would allow me to print many of my works that have lived in digital format for their life entirely thus far, but they would be welcomed here on this ("this" meaning "the one this body is typing this message through") physical plane.

Lately I've been exploring and considering the following: natural inks for printing and dying; ancient Fertile Crescent culture and history up to and through the Persian Empire; the nature of empires; the nature of humans; how to grow vegetables out of pots in rental situations; that I need to allow myself to love those around me, because that is really all I have, and it is irreplaceable; that language is really the key to everything; and that I really miss living with a cat.

Heavy, real, but also light, and purposeful, things. It's been a time.
