"What's up with you guys?" An (Official) Intro Post!
Hi there! My name is Abyss, Host of The Archive System. We're a median, monoconscious system of 6, maybe more, who knows! We certainly don't.
We made pretty much a DNI post as our "intro", but didn't dive in to who we are as people, as a system.
On the whole, all of us (bar one) are kind, understanding, nice people to get along with!
We have epilepsy, JME (Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy) and was professionally diagnosed in January 2025 after a big GTCS (Generalised Tonic Clonic Seizure) right before New Years Day lol! In short, JME is a type of generalised epilepsy that involves involuntary myoclonic jerks in mainly the arms, but sometimes the legs too. Myoclonic jerks is the same thing that happens when you're falling asleep, and sometimes your body jerks to wake you up. That's a myoclonic jerk!
As you can imagine, this is not very fun, and affects our everyday life. A lot of what we can and can't do comes down to, "will we have a seizure because of this?" But I, and the others try to be as positive as we can about our situation. There's nothing we can do about this, and that's okay. We just gotta acknowledge what our limitations in life are, and roll with it as best we can!

This is a bit of a hard question to ask, since there's more than... well, just me.
"But you aren't median! It's obviously OSDD-1a."
"You're a faker! Median doesn't exist."
"You're doing this for attention, you're an ableist!"
Go to our first post! It has our DNI list there. No further discussion is to be held if you're nasty about this. We know you don't care because the fact we're median will automatically make you hate us, but please read it regardless. Be mature.
As a system, we're quite green in our syscovery. We've been like this, (median) for as long as we can remember. For so, so many years I hated myself for not having a consistent personality. For not knowing who I was, who, what I identified as. These constant consistent personality shifts, from liking one thing to another, to the next day not liking it at all, hating myself for acting so differently for no reason. I didn't know why this was happening, but I boiled it down to "I'm just a teenager figuring myself out."
Well, it's been well over 6 years now, we're 20 this year, and only found out what "median" meant about a month ago, and I read all of this, did so, so much research, and all I could think was "How have I never come across this? This makes so much more sense."
Ever since that, the system has become so much more active. We're recognising patterns a lot easier, taking on and recognising switches so much easier, and logging and documenting our experiences really helps.
What are your interests, though?
Well, I personally love The Magnus Archives, Tally Hall, Alice in Borderland, The Last Dinner Party, Joe Hawley, Minecraft, Animal Jam, Roblox, and other stuff! (I can't think of everything right now lol)
