I feel confident enough to post these now. A collection of all the existing posters after some edits from the other post that got 13k notes! These are full size/quality. Go nuts.
You may use them for wallpapers, tabletop campaigns, whatever. Consider tipping me or buying a print or sticker on ko-fi here! If you do use them, let me know what for, or send pictures!
always be suspicious when there is 3 of something. know the culprit. it could be the magician and her deceitful Monte. it cold be the comedian and her perverted Rule. It could be the feminist theorist and her archaic Wave. It could be the sociologist and her fictitious Place. It could be the physicist and her sinister Body Problem.
The Goldilocks and her insidious Bears
so. the new tech is necromancy. That seems a little too on brand for this timeline
they're calling it necro-botics, and right now it's basically making machines parts out of dead things
the reason it's being developed is nature is better at making really small, really lightweight mechanical structures that are at the same time really strong, intricate, and functional.
so far we have:
the smallest 3D printing nozzles made from mosquito proboscises
tiny claw-grippers made out of whole dead spiders
and this
made of lobster tails, which can grip and carry, as well as swim
again, the reason this is a semi-viable research direction is that we have trouble making something as lightweight and strong, and even when we can do so, the production of those parts and mechanisms is extremely costly and difficult. Therefor using dead things seems to be a possibly valid option.
necromancy. We're doing necromancy now. great

rats are up 300%
Though they had the ability to do so, the Brontë Sisters never in their lifetimes combined to form MegaBrontë.
if it sucks hit da bricks <- litany against sunk cost
take it easy but take it <- litany against burnout/apathy cycle
fuck it we ball <- litany against perfectionism
now say something beautiful and true <- litany against irony poisoning

scurvy has got to have one of the biggest disease/treatment coolness gaps of all time. like yeah too much time at sea will afflict you with a curse where your body starts unraveling and old wounds come back to haunt you like vengeful ghosts. unless☝️you eat a lemon
