yesterday mum came home at like noon and dragged me to her car appt (snow tires) and then brought me to apply for food stamps

and she works for the division that oversees that (she just manages the folks that scan applications into the system) and even she was surprised how much information they wanted about literally all the bills, our bank balances AND acct numbers, etc etc. and like, thats fucked, and its fucked she didnt know that? or forgot?

and i got approved, thank god, but like. im still stressed bc i have to convince my dr to sign a thing that says i cant work ((i havent worked or done school in almost 2 years - my brain and body are loudly protesting my continued existence and its Literal Hell)) and she SHOULD agree but im paranoid she wont and ill have to scramble to find some work that magically doesnt kill my joints AND that i can get to AND that doesnt make me wanna die
