Being asexual and racist is embarassing as fuck. Being racist at all is obviously embarassing as fuck but the amount of racism and especially antiblackness i have been seeing from asexuals recently is obscene.
One of the only asexual activists is Yasmin Benoit, a Black woman. She has raised so much awareness for the community. She was the first asexual person to lead Pride in London, she started the #thisiswhatasexuallookslike movement and is THE leading voice for the community.
And you all will celebrate international asexuality day on April 6th but we wouldn't even have that if she hadn't cofounded it.

as for interactions and rules regarding interactions, i'm open to just about anything; however, i do ask that you don't send or say anything sexually explicit, as bennie is 16. innuendos are fine, but anything too explicit is not. other than that, this blog follows the same regulations that i have on my other blogs: oc x oc and oc x canon ships are fine by me, and multishipping is more than okay! i love seeing what we can come up with!

You can explore dark themes and be normal btw. You can have incest/pdophilia in a story and show how disgusting it is instead of acting like it's another cutsie ship. You can do that. You can depict things and be normal about it. You can write a story about grooming and molestation and incest and WHATEVER but maybe NOT write it the same way as you write a normal relationship. If you write something like that and you think your audience won't leave disturbed, youre not doing it right.
It should always be depicted as disgusting. Because it's always disgusting. Even if it's complex, or confusing, it's disgusting.
Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's not just rude to make me read something you didn't want to write. It is that you expect me to respond to your email written by Claude. You don't even want me to talk to you. You want me to talk to Claude so that you can make Claude respond for you. It is rude to expect me to talk to a chatbot when I wanted to talk to you.
