Shen's latest Patreon post about the trans/egg jokes and interpretations of his comics is not "I am BEING FORCED into TRANSNESS by EVIL PREDATORY TRANS PEOPLE" it is "hey I know I play into the joke a lot in my comics but I don't want to legitimately accidentally mislead people into financially supporting me under the impression they're helping out another member of their marginalized community :)"

If you try to make it the former by going on a rant about how "egg culture" is forcing transness on feminine men or whatever you are actually deeply weird about trans women and I do not trust you.

It'd be one thing if he actually did vocalize discomfort with it, but if anything it's kind of the opposite. He's deliberately making comics that can very much be interpreted as pieces of transfem art as a way of playing into fhe bit. He's the one treating it like a cutesy in-joke with his fans.

Hr is an adult capable of setting his own boundaries. If he wanted people to stop, he would explicitly say so and not make comics that are intentionally designed to Commit To The Bit.
