Hey idk who needs this but helpful reminder that "virgin blood" in any witchcraft shit that requires that means "virgin" in the same sense as "virgin hair" means hair that hasn't been dyed or processed in any way, natural in the default sense. So no, "virgin blood" doesn't mean blood from a virgin, just blood that hasn't been used for any other kind of witchy shit earlier.

Whether nor not someone has fucked before is completely irrelevant. Any act of fucking doesn't instantly make someone contaminated or un-magic any of their shit. You're just not supposed to re-use blood for blood magic. That's just not. Just do not. Like that's just weird who does that.

The thing is, even though studies have shown that homework doesn't provide any academic benefit for children, it does serve a very clear purpose. The point of homework is to teach children that their job comes home with them. They are not supposed to clock out or leave the office and have the rest of their time to themselves. They can't think that their work ends at the time when they are allowed to physically leave. People need to know that they aren't supposed to just be available for their job from 9 AM to 5 PM, but instead at all hours. And homework trains them to believe exactly that, because ever since they started school as children, they took their work home with them.

And of course, teacher's don't bat an eye at enforcing this system, because they're some of the worst victims of it. Imagine telling a teacher (at least in the United States) that they should be given enough time to accomplish all their grading and lesson-planning during their work hours, and shouldn't expect to take any of that home. You might as well tell them that they should be able to photosynthesize. They're not going to criticize teaching kids that this is normal, because to them it is normal. But they shouldn't have to take all that work home with them, and kids shouldn't either.

And to be clear, yes I'm saying Wincest Wednesday, but absolutely everyone is eligible here, not just Jensen and Jared. Who do you think really killed it?

First of all full disclosure: I didn't finish the show, have been kinda stock at season 9 this last year, so I never got to see demon dean. I just love the SPN fanfic so much, I kind of drifted away from the original show. Secondly, I am useless at understanding who's a good actor and who's not. BUT sometimes I see some acting and I go "wow, I'm really really liking this!" Happened with Andrew Scott, who I discovered in Sherlock, and with Zendaya, in Euphoria. SPN has a loooot of actors, but two I really would have loved to see more of are Fredric lehne, the first yellow eyed demon, and Sebastian Roché as Balthazar. In both cases, I was just really, really, really enjoying myself while watching them do their thing.

Finally (and this is probably a bit banal) even if I consider myself 100% a dean girl, and do not find Jared padalecki especially attractive (TO ME! JUST TO ME! I know he is a very handsome man, do not shoot me!!) I think he is really, really good! In the same show he was Sam, soulless Sam, a monster pretending to be Sam... and he was good in all the versions!!! I really like how he can go from super puppy to cold to mean. Kudos!

Probably not a very controversial answer but thanks for the ask and can I say I love your work? I love your work!!! I am slowly catching up with the disability natural, brilliant stories there!

1k, Dean/Lisa, Lisa has Multiple Sclerosis, between seasons 5 and 6

As the months went by, Lisa watched Dean learn every detail of her life. It started with Ben. Dean learned Ben’s birthday, his middle name, and every medical issue he ever had, just in case there was an emergency. Next were Ben's favorite kinds of sandwiches (Dean actually enjoyed packing all of their lunches, somehow) and which classic rock songs he sang along to in the car. After that came Lisa’s life—which brand of beer she drank, her favorite restaurants to order from, and where she went to high school. On her birthday, he got a gift card to the right nail salon and a bottle of Sapphire gin (the only kind worth drinking). He met her sister, then her parents, and she suspected they liked Dean more than they liked her. Within six months, Dean was fully part of the family.

Except for one thing. 

It wasn’t anyone's business, really. She only told her job because she had to use medical leave for her episodes. Her friends all thought she was perfectly healthy (if a bit flaky with plans). The only people who really deserved to know were her family, because they saved her ass by taking Ben during her flare ups. 

One last fic under the wire for @disabilitynatural! Well. Not really. I'm keeping it open for late submissions. It sounds like I'll get at least one more thing that way. Maybe more. I kinda forget what people told me. But. One last fic from me and I did technically get it edited and posted by the end of July.

i skid into the parking lot of my sons’ elementary school creating a plume of dust and gravel behind my truck (#mytruck) so big an entire class of fourth graders is buried alive and they have to call in one of those saint bernard mountain dogs that finds people stuck in avalanches. tucking and rolling out of my truck (#mytruck) which is still moving, i leap through a window and into the english class where i have been called to a parent teacher conference. using my keen senses and hunter’s instinct, i realize i am at the wrong school. i crash back through the broken window and dive past the pickup lane monitor and back into my truck (#mytruck) before speeding off into the sunset. my son calls me from a pay phone two states away. i ignore it
