Being a “Rhaenyra stan” but only liking her when she is played by Milly and saying how she is gonna lose her charm when Emma plays her tells a lot how these stans don't care much about Rhaenyra's true fight and character arc.

For the love of everything, Daemon is thirty years old in Episode 1. They show didn't age up Rhaenyra, they moved the events from the third to tenth year of Viserys's reign. The character whose age really changed drastically is fucking Alicent. They can't have Milly playing an older Rhaenyra because she wouldn't look convincing as a mother of five children pushing her middle thirties.

Fandom really just wants Rhaenyra when she is a teenager because the notion of aging scares the shit out of them, huh.

Criston is RELIGIOUS and pious and that drives his character. He didn't want to sleep with Rhaenyrs because it would violate his vows and beliefs. He wanted to marry her to make himself believe that what they had was real and romantic and when she rejected him it made him realize that he debased his white cloak for nothing. He confessed to Alicent because his actions weighed on his conscience.

And now he sees Alicent as a religious figure because she saved him -both his life and conscience by offering him a second chance. To him she is the Mother offering him mercy.
