Someone left a bad review about me at work and used the term "pissed toddler" which I'm 99% sure is because I'm so short. Also ironic that IM the "pissed toddler" when they literally were shouting at me about their food being late and were demanding it off their ticket and all I did was tell them it wasn't fair for them to be speaking to me in such a rude manner just because their food was late. I may be a server but I am an adult at the end of the day and so I will not be disrespected regardless of my position. If you think it's okay to speak down on me then it should be okay for me to defend myself. Just because you're the customer doesn't mean you're entitled to verbally abusing me and speaking to me like I'm a dog and not a human. Then to add insult to injury you want to refer to me as a toddler because I, AN ADULT WOMAN, who happens to be short, DEFENDED MYSELF against yall trying to tag team and harass me. WHATS INSANE IS I WAS ACTUALLY SO FUCKING POLITE I said "I understand that you're frustrated about your food not coming out, but I just feel it's unfair for you to be speaking to me in such a rude manner" and that set them off. Hilarious because it reminds of how when someone thinks youre talking back just because you're explaining things. People just fucking hate servers for some fucking reason. Which is crazy cause bruh what do we do to you? They expect you to be entertaining, accommodating, attentive but not too attentive, but also make sure you tend to their every need, also make sure to be smiling and only smiling with ONLY a chipper attitude. Oh and mistakes??? You. can't. make. any. Spill a drink? Bad service. Wobble a plate while placing it down? Bad service Forgot to bring ketchup? Bad service Forgot the lemon for their water? Bad Service Put a lemon with their water they did not want? Bad service. It's always the little shit. It'd be one thing if it was like extremes but it never is. I'm tired of being a server I want to be something else but living in a small town like this that shit is hard unless you know people. I'm just tired of the public man

not using AI genuinely feels like the rest of the world is experiencing some kind of mass amnesia. if someone says they never use it, the immediate response is that can't be true because "everyone" uses it to write their emails or answer their questions. saw a comment suggesting that not using chatgpt to write an essay is "like the 90s". girl I graduated in 2021 and we weren't doing that! how is it that everyone has suddenly forgotten that they were entirely capable of doing these things all by themselves for their entire lives up until the past few years!! am I going crazy!!!
