Everytime I get my hair done im reminded why I hate ppl touching my hair
guys i can't do this anymore. i have to speak my truth. hamlet is not the emo goth kid lounging around in hot topic clothes and laertes is not the varsity jacket-wearing jock. it's the other way around. before the events of the play, hamlet was very much a jock (4.7.111-114), enough so that his lack of exercise is noticeable (2.2.319-320) and was well-liked and popular by the common people (4.7.20-24). polonius implies to reynaldo that laertes is in france to study music specifically (2.1.81). laertes is easily agitated, provoked, and sensitive, which is arguably more likely to be a pre-existing condition of teenage angst hot topic-ism than hamlet's legitimate grief (open your eyes and look). i can't stress enough that hamlet's transformation into the person we see in the play is so jarring from his real self that he almost isn't the same person anymore, and laertes has similarly been pushed to be the volatile, violent person he is by his circumstances. hamlet is literally the popular athletic golden boy and laertes is, like, the kid lugging around a huge cello case every day to and from school who gets high as fuck behind the bleachers and picks fights with anyone who says anything about his sister

There’s something so uniquely terrifying about memory issues. I feel like my self is slipping away from me.
Here’s the thing I feel like a lot of folks don’t get: I’m not trying to forget what you said. Honestly, I really tried not to. I can’t control what I do and don’t remember—forgetting things just happens. It’s annoying for you, I know, but for me it’s distressing as hell and when you make a big deal out of it rather than just reminding me you make me feel ashamed. I’ll remember that, at least.
It costs you nothing to be kind to people with memory problems. Please. It’s scary enough without people treating memory lapses as a personal failing.

Im so excited to role play cat boy clancy on sunday you have no idea
I never updated u guys on my cosplay.
It was so great! And so fun! I met so many clikkies. Someone was dressed as torch and someone else as blurry and we got to take pics together! Comicon itself was so great the day was too short for me to enjoy it all!! I loved it sm
the natural lifespan of a fandom is unlimited. when well tended a fandom can be functionally immortal. and yet everywhere you look you see newly bred fandoms withering and dying when they’re barely a year old. barely even six months old. fans are looking at their six month old fandoms and saying i think it’s on its last legs, should i euthanise it? when with the proper care that fandom could outlive them for decades. it’s sad. sad state of affairs we’re in.
I was actually talking about this with my frnds, fandom culture has been lost. It used to be a beautiful safe space where u get to fan over ur favorite characters with like minded ppl. And now its become a discussion of morals and judgement. Where shipping characters ultimately reflects your core beliefs as a person and reading fics has become a necessity and not a luxury. The fandom space has become so toxic that its no longer a safe space to truly geek out over niche interests. Not only that but instant gratification and fast paced media has killed the attention span of so many thus leading to fandoms lasting no more than a few months before they get bored and move on to the next one. Ive been in the same fandom for a decade. A decade. And im still active within the space. And I've been active for the full decade. How many of the newer fands can gruntee theyll be active for another yr at most? Its actually so sad to see these spaces lost to individualism and the fast paced world we now live in where intellect deteriorates daily.

So im currently just workd building. Decided to do everything from scratch for fun.
I need a name for my workd tho.
There are 5 kingdoms, and now I also need to write backstories for each one and their relations with each other
Also im open to all ideas or suggestions, the plan is to create my own world and stories so I can play with my frnds and essentially do whatever we want whenver we want without being limited to a pre-made campaign
