the ultimate joke is on J.K. Rowilng because while she might be a TERF and deny the very existence of trans people, the very characters she wrote wouldn’t agree with her. you cannot tell me that Harry, a boy abused for most of his childhood and then constantly ostracized for being different, or Luna, someone who found the quiet strength in being herself despite everyone telling her she shouldn’t be, would not be 100% accepting and loving of trans people. there absolutely are trans students at Hogwarts, students who are loved and appreciated and allowed to be themselves. the Sorting Hat believed the most important indication of where you should be sorted is where you WANT to be sorted. gender is your personal expression and identity of it, regardless of what society told you when you were born. to all my trans and nonbinary friends out there, it isn’t up to a sorting hat to pick your house or for J.K. Rowling to determine your gender; it is up to YOU. help will always be given to those who ask for it at Hogwarts.

Bokuaka Headcanons

Bokuto will call Akaashi anytime, anywhere. He finds the silliest reasons to call him, like “Akaashi, I saw a rainbow on my way home and it reminded me of you and please call me back,” and Akaashi pretends it’s a burden but really, he finds the fact that Bokuto always thinks about him flattering.

Bokuto is the one who’s willing to share everything with Akaashi, be it hobbies to clothes. One time Akaashi tried to tell him that being their own people was important and “no Bokuto-san, you can’t use my toothbrush just because you can’t find yours,” but Bokuto sulked until Akaashi gave in.

Akaashi is a closet horror movie addict, and his favorites are the psychological thrillers. It takes a lot to get him scared. 

Bokuto is terrified of jump scares. Even when he’s running his mouth and not paying attention to the movie, he’ll jump twenty feet as soon as there’s a jump scare. Akaashi has been on the receiving end of many thrown elbows due to Bokuto’s attempts at launching himself behind the couch.

Bokuto is a very tactile person. He’ll touch Akaashi’s shoulders, hands, back, waist, anywhere at any time, but his favorite is Akaashi’s hair. On lazy afternoons, he’ll thread his fingers through Akaashi’s locks and just spend hours running them through the silky strands. Akaashi will be too sleepy to bother saying anything about it.

Akaashi lives for the occasions when Bokuto wears his hair down. Bokuto knows how much his boyfriend loves it, so he’ll switch it up from time to time just to see Akaashi get all flustered.
