𑁤 prohero! katsuki bakugo x fem! model! reader — pt. 1
Katsuki Bakugo had fought villains who could level city blocks, criminals who thought they were untouchable, and people who genuinely believed they could outsmart him.
None of that prepared him for a damn 5-hour brand photoshoot.
“This is fuckin stupid...”
The words left his mouth the second he stepped onto the studio set in a low grumble.
His manager, who had heard that exact sentence at least five times that morning, didn’t even look up from the tablet in his hands.
“You’re a top-ranked Pro Hero, bakugo. The agency needs public visibility. The brand is paying well. The campaign helps your image.” his manager explains, nodding in agreement to his own words.
“My image is fine.” katsuki bit back, crossing his broad arms, a sigh leaving his chest,
“You threatened a reporter last month because he asked if you smiled.” his manager commented, lips pressed together in a thin line.
“He was annoying.” katsuki retorted, followed by a shrug.
“You proved his point.”
Bakugo clicked his tongue, but he didn’t argue further.
Because unfortunately, they weren’t wrong.
Years ago, he would have absolutely refused something like this. A photoshoot? A commercial? Standing around while people adjusted lighting and told him where to put his hands?
Absolutely not.
But adulthood had changed him. War had changed him. Life had changed him.
though, not completely. He was still Katsuki Bakugo. Still blunt. Still impatient. Still the guy who walked into a room and immediately made everyone feel like they needed to stand straighter.
But he was older now. More controlled.
His temper wasn’t the explosive thing it used to be.
Usually.
He had become the kind of hero people respected—not because he was loud, but because he was reliable. He showed up. He protected people. He got results
Unfortunately, being a respected hero also meant being marketable.
Which was how he ended up standing in a high-end studio wearing a perfectly tailored black suit while strangers adjusted his collar.
“Don’t wrinkle it,” one of the stylists warned.
Bakugo looked down at her, face blank yet irritation was itched slightly into his features as he spoke. “I know how to wear a damn suit.”
The stylist immediately stepped back. “Right. Of course.” she stumbled out, before turning away.
Bakugo sighed, annoyed. He wasn’t intentionally trying to scare people. He just had a naturally intimidating presence.
Especially when he was standing next to a room full of people who were obsessing over every tiny detail, and it was the last goddamn place he wanted to be in.
Then the atmosphere shifted
Not dramatically. Nobody announced an arrival.
The second she walked onto the set, everyone noticed.
She entered like she already knew exactly where she belonged.
And honestly? She did.
She was one of the biggest names in the modeling industry. The kind of person whose face was on billboards, magazine covers, advertisements—everywhere. She had built an entire career around being impossible to ignore.
Her appearance almost seemed too polished to be real.
Her black layered hair fell just past her shoulders, framing her face perfectly. Her dark brown eyes were sharp and observant, lined by long lashes that made even her smallest expressions noticeable. Her lips were naturally full and rounded, always somehow looking perfectly defined without appearing like she was trying too hard.
Everything about her looked intentional.
Her brows were flawless. Her skin looked unreal. Her outfit was simple, but somehow made everyone else look underdressed. And she was tiny compared to him
Not just shorter; Different.
Bakugo was built from years of combat training. Broad shoulders, muscle, strength. Everything about him represented power.
She was the complete opposite.
Slim. Delicate-looking. Almost like a strong wind could knock her over.
Except the way she carried herself made it obvious that was not true.
She looked at the room once, gave a small nod to the director, and immediately started walking toward the makeup station.
“Everything ready?” You asked.
your voice wasn’t rude.
It was calm.
But somehow, everyone moved faster.
“Almost,” the director answered quickly.
you glanced at the setup. “Almost means no.”
A pause. The director blinked. Then nodded.
“Right. We’ll fix it.”
Bakugo watched from across the room. Interesting.
Most people who spoke to professionals like that either apologized afterward or tried to soften it, which you didn’t do.
And for some reason, that reminded him of— well.. Him
Not the anger, Not the yelling; The honesty.
you weren’t mean because you wanted attention.
you was mean because you genuinely didn’t see the point in pretending.
Katsuki’s manager eventually noticed him watching, quickly speaking up.
“Katsuki, this is your partner for the campaign.”
your eyes shifted toward him.
For a moment, you two just looked at each other.
Two completely different appearances.
The intimidating Pro Hero with sharp red eyes and a reputation for being difficult.
And the famous model who looked like she belonged on a luxury perfume bottle.
His manager smiled nervously.
“You two will be doing several shots together. Some solo, some paired. The concept is power, confidence, and contrast.”
Bakugo raised an eyebrow.
“Contrast?”
You looked him over briefly, taking in his appearance- observing, before speaking softly.
“You’re taller than I expected.” you said, placing your coffee cup down on a nearby table.
katsuki stared, annoyed , again.
though, Most people started conversations with compliments. Or nervous greetings. not you, apparently.
“That supposed to be an insult?” he scoffed,
“No.” you tilted her head slightly. “It’s just an observation.”
there was a pause.
Then you added casually, “You’re also not as loud as I expected.”
Bakugo stared at you. squinting his amber eyes, the gesture followed by an irritated scoff.
“You always talk like that?”
“Like what?”
“Like you’re judging everyone.” he barked, to which you looked genuinely confused.
“I am judging everyone.”
That actually made him laugh.
A short, unexpected sound, something that could honestly pas as just a plain exhale of air.
You looked at him for a second longer, your brow rising slightly, Interesting.
Because everyone always described Bakugo as difficult.
Aggressive, Impossible.
But standing there, watching him react, you realized something.
He wasn’t exactly angry.
He was just honest. and, a bit rude.
like you.
The director clapped his hands, interrupting the moment.
“Alright! First setup! Let’s get both of you together.”
You two were placed in front of the camera.
The photographer adjusted the lighting.
“Closer.”
Bakugo stepped closer, to which you didn’t move away
“More natural,” the photographer instructed.
Bakugo looked annoyed, “I am being natural.”
his statement made you glanced at him. “No,” you replied, looking away again, “you’re standing like you’re forcing yourself to be natural.”
He looked down at you. “You got a better idea?”
“Yes.” You reached up and adjusted the angle of his shoulder slightly.
a few people watched in surprise, others didn’t have the nerve to stare.
“Relax,” you said.
Katsuki stared at you.
“I am relaxed.”
“No.”
Her eyes moved over him.
“You’re pretending to be relaxed.”
For once, he didn’t immediately have a comeback.
The photographer suddenly snapped a picture.
Then another.
And another.
Because somehow, the tension between them worked.
The contrast was exactly what the brand wanted.
The explosive hero.
The untouchable model.
The two people who looked like they should clash.
And somehow, looked perfect standing beside each other.
Neither of them knew it yet.
But everyone watching that first photoshoot noticed something.
They clicked.
—
The photoshoot ended exactly the way most photoshoots ended.
With exhaustion. A few quick thank-yous. a few polite goodbyes.
And everyone returning to their own lives. There was no dramatic moment afterward. No lingering conversation. No exchange of numbers.
No sudden realization that something had changed. Nothing.
Katsuki Bakugo left the studio, got into his car, and went back to being a Pro Hero.
That was it.
The next morning, he was back at his agency.
Back to patrol schedules. Back to reports. Back to training.
Back to dealing with idiots who thought running toward danger without a plan made them heroes.
You went back to your own world too.
Fittings.
Interviews.
Runway shows.
Brand meetings.
Constant cameras.
Constant people wanting something from you.
The photoshoot was just another job.
A very expensive job, sure.
A memorable one.
But still just a job.
And honestly? Neither of you thought about it much.
Bakugo would be lying if he said he hadn’t noticed her.
Obviously he had. She was attractive. Anyone with eyes could see that.
She was beautiful in a very specific way. Not soft. Not approachable.
Sharp. Controlled.
The kind of beauty that made people stare and then immediately pretend they weren’t staring.
But that was all.
She was a beautiful woman.
So what?
It wasn’t like he hadn’t met attractive people before.
He was a successful Pro Hero. He worked around celebrities, executives, other heroes, models, actors. Being attractive wasn’t rare.
And besides—she was annoying.
Not in a bad way. Just… she had a personality.
A strong one.
And Bakugo knew better than anyone that two strong personalities didn’t always mix.
Meanwhile, you thought about him in almost the exact same way.
Yes, he was attractive.
Very.
The kind of attractive that came from confidence and years of discipline.
But he was also arrogant.
He walked around like he knew exactly who he was.
Which, unfortunately, he did.
And you respected that.
But you weren’t impressed.
At least, you told yourself you weren’t.
Because then came the photos.
And of course— everything changed.
⸻
The brand released the campaign three days later.
At first, nobody expected much. It was just another luxury campaign.
A famous model. A famous hero. A collaboration.
People would like it. People would comment. People would move on.
Except… They didn’t. Because the pictures were insane. The first image posted was simple. Both of them standing side by side. Her dressed in an elegant, dark outfit. Him in a perfectly fitted suit. The contrast was immediate. She looked like luxury. He looked like power.
The caption alone sent people into a frenzy. But then came the other photos. The ones nobody expected.
The ones where the photographer had clearly realized something the two of them hadn’t. their chemistry was ridiculous. One image showed them standing incredibly close, faces only inches apart.
Her expression calm and almost amused. His eyes sharp, looking down at her like she was challenging him.
Another showed her hand resting against his face, adjusting his angle for the shot. Bakugo looked annoyed. Like he was seconds away from complaining.
but the photo? it looked like a scene of a movie.
Another showed her pointing directly at his chest, her expression almost like she was scolding him.
And Bakugo—bakugo looked like he was arguing back.
Except the camera caught something else. The tiny hint of amusement in his eyes. The fact that he wasn’t actually angry. the fact that he was letting her. The internet lost its mind.
Completely.

Bakugo found out because his agency manager walked into his office.
And didn’t say anything.
Just placed a tablet on his desk. Bakugo looked at it. Then looked at him.
“What’s this crap?” he asked. His manager crossed his arms. “Read.”
Bakugo looked down. The campaign photos were everywhere.
Millions of views.Thousands of comments. Articles. Fan edits. Speculation.
He stared. Then frowned. “What the hell?”
His manager raised an eyebrow. “You’re trending.”
katsuki scoffed. “I’m always trending.”
“Not like this.”
Bakugo scrolled.
His expression slowly became more annoyed
Because people were talking. A lot.
Not about the campaign.
About them.
Together.
“People are weird.”
His manager smiled slightly. “They think you two look good together.”
Bakugo immediately looked up.
“They think what?”
“You heard me.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
His manager laughed.
“You’re acting offended.”
“I’m not offended.”
“You are.”
“I’m not.”
“You are.”
Bakugo clicked his tongue and pushed the tablet away.
“She’s just a model.”
“An extremely famous one.”
“So?”
“So nothing.”
His manager smiled
“But you’re bothered.”
“I’m not.”
Except he was.
Not because of the rumors.
Not because people thought they looked good together.
Because he remembered the photos.
And the annoying thing was—
the internet wasn’t completely wrong.
They did look good together.
⸻
Across the city, you were having a similar conversation.
your manager had shown you the campaign.
The comments. The articles. The reactions.
you stared at the screen silently.
“He’s annoying,” you hummed into your cup.
your manager looked amused.
“You spent 5 hours with him.”
“And?”
“And you noticed him.”
you looked up.
“I notice everyone.”
“Sure.”
you looked back at the photos. at the one where he was looking at you.
Not at the cameras— At you. It was probably just the angle. Probably just the photographer. Probably nothing.
you closed the tablet. “He’s still cocky.”
your manager smiled.
“And?”
“And nothing.”
But just like Bakugo— you remembered.
And neither of you liked that you did.
Because the problem wasn’t that the photos looked convincing.
The problem was that they looked convincing because, for a few moments…
they actually had been.

𑁤 izuku midoriya x fem! reader
Eight years had passed since the Final War.
The world had changed in ways that no one from Class 1-A could have imagined when they were teenagers. Entire cities had been rebuilt, hero society had slowly recovered, and the names of the students who had once fought on the front lines had become part of history. Children learned about them in school, aspiring heroes quoted them in interviews, and reporters still asked questions about the war every year on its anniversary.
For the people who had actually lived through it, however, life had simply continued.
Careers had taken them in different directions. Some heroes had opened agencies of their own, while others worked under established names. A few had become instructors, determined to prepare the next generation for a world they hoped would never face another conflict like the one they had survived.
Even though they all kept in touch from time to time, it had become increasingly difficult to gather everyone in one place.
That was why the invitation felt so unusual.
The former students of Class 1-A were returning to U.A. High School for an eight-year reunion.
The moment Izuku Midoriya read the message in the group chat, he smiled to himself. The conversation was exactly as chaotic as he remembered. Mina had been the first to suggest the reunion, Kaminari had already started making jokes before anyone had even agreed to come, and Iida was trying, unsuccessfully, to organize everyone’s arrival times into a neat schedule.
It felt strangely comforting.
Izuku arrived at U.A. just as the afternoon sun began to settle lower in the sky. The campus looked different than it had when he was a student. New buildings stood where damaged ones had once been, gardens lined the walkways, and groups of current students crossed the grounds without realizing how much history surrounded them.
For a moment, he simply stood there.
It had been years since he had walked these halls without a mission waiting for him.
A quiet laugh escaped him before he finally made his way inside.
The reunion had already begun.
The room was alive with conversation as old classmates greeted one another with hugs, laughter, and stories that seemed impossible to fit into a single evening. Bakugo was already arguing with Kirishima over something neither of them seemed particularly serious about. Mina was excitedly showing everyone pictures from recent vacations, while Uraraka was catching up with Tsuyu and Yaoyorozu near one of the windows.
It felt less like eight years had passed and more like everyone had simply been away for the weekend.
As Izuku stepped farther into the room, he exchanged greetings with the classmates closest to the entrance. He found himself smiling more than he had in weeks.
Then, almost without thinking, his eyes wandered across the room.
He stopped walking.
Standing near one of the tall windows was a woman he had not seen in years.
you had changed, just as everyone had. you carried herself with an easy confidence that hadn’t quite been there during high school, and adulthood suited you in a quiet, effortless way. Yet there were things that time had not touched. your smile was the same one he remembered seeing across classrooms and training fields, and you eyes were just as expressive as they had always been. Your black hair was shorter now, just below your shoulders, followed with styles layers and face framing features, which were the same , but more mature. more adult.
you looked up at that exact moment.
your eyes met, and for a few seconds, the conversations around them seemed to fade into the background.
you smiled first.
It was small at first, almost uncertain, before it grew warmer as recognition settled in.
Izuku smiled back without even realizing he was doing it.
During high school, everyone had noticed the way they gravitated toward one another.
Neither of them had ever admitted they found the other attractive, but they never really had to. They always seemed to end up beside each other during class discussions, training exercises, or school events. Their conversations came naturally, their laughter was easy, and whenever one of them entered a room, the other seemed to notice almost immediately.
Their classmates had teased them often enough that both of them had learned to laugh it off.
Nothing had ever happened.
There had never been time.
Every year had brought another crisis, another attack, another responsibility. By the time either of them might have been ready to say something, the world had demanded their attention instead.
Then graduation came.
Hero work followed.
adulthood followed.
Life became busier than either of them could have imagined.
Now, after all these years, they were standing in the same room again.
you walked toward him at the same time he started walking toward you, and they both laughed quietly when you both realized they had done the exact same thing.
“I was wondering if you’d actually be here,” you said with an amused smile.
Izuku rubbed the back of his neck, an old habit that had somehow survived into adulthood. “I could say the same thing. I wasn’t sure if your schedule would let you make it.”
“It almost didn’t.”
“I’m glad it did.”
There was a brief silence between them, but it wasn’t awkward. It was the kind of silence that only happened between two people who had once known each other well enough that words weren’t always necessary.
you studied him for a moment before shaking her head with a soft laugh.
“You know,” you said, “you really haven’t changed as much as I thought you would.”
Izuku raised an eyebrow. “Is that a good thing?”
“I think so.” you mused, and smiled again, and he found himself smiling back just as easily.
Eight years had passed since they had last stood in the same room, yet talking to her felt strangely familiar, as though all those lost years had quietly folded themselves away the moment their eyes met.
Izuku cleared his throat, suddenly feeling far more nervous than he had been while facing cameras or giving speeches.
“You, um…” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking at her for only a second before his eyes darted away again. “You look amazing,” he confessed, his voice quieter than he intended.
For just a moment, you simply stared at him.
Then a smile slowly spread across your face, warm enough to make his heart skip a beat.
“I was wondering how long it would take you to say that.”
His eyes widened, a pink flush blushing his cheekbones of embarrassment.
“I wasn’t—I mean, I didn’t—I wasn’t trying to—”
you laughed, and the sound was exactly as he remembered. It was light, genuine, and effortlessly contagious.
“I know,” you said, shaking your head. “You’re still easy to fluster.”
He let out an embarrassed laugh of his own. “Some things don’t change, I guess.”
“No,” you agreed softly. “Some things really don’t.”
you took a moment to look at him properly. The years had changed him in countless ways. His shoulders had broadened, and there was a quiet confidence in the way he carried himself now that hadn’t existed when they were seventeen. Faint scars disappeared beneath the sleeves of his dress shirt, reminders of battles that history books would write about for generations.
Even so, the freckles scattered across his face were exactly the same, and his green eyes still held that unmistakable kindness that had always drawn people to him.
“i take it back, you said. “You’ve definitely changed more than i thought,” you admitted.
Izuku smiled sheepishly. “Hopefully for the better.”
“Oh, definitely for the better.”
His ears turned pink.
“But,” you continued with a teasing smile, “you’re still blushing.”
He instinctively reached for the back of his neck again before realizing what he was doing.
you pointed at him with an amused grin.
“again,.”
He sighed dramatically.
“I really thought I’d stopped doing that.”
“I don’t think you ever will.”
“I was hoping I’d at least gotten better at hiding it.”
“You haven’t.”
He laughed, unable to argue with you.
“You look…” you began before hesitating, as though you was carefully choosing your words. “You look really handsome, Izuku.”
This time it was his entire face that turned red.
“Oh.”
you laughed again.
“‘Oh?’ That’s all you have?”
“I wasn’t expecting you to say that.”
“Why not?”
“I don’t know.”
“You complimented me first.”
“I know, but…” He smiled awkwardly. “I guess hearing it back is different.”
you folded her arms, tilting your head as your looked at him.
“You know, I used to think you had no idea.”
“No idea about what?”
you held his gaze for a moment.
“That I had the biggest crush on you in high school.”
Izuku blinked.
His expression became completely blank, as though his brain had stopped working altogether.
“You…”
you couldn’t help smiling.
“I thought it was painfully obvious
“I…” He stared at her in complete disbelief. “I thought you had no idea that I liked you.”
Now it was your turn to blink. “You liked me?”
He let out a nervous laugh. “I was completely gone.”
you stared at him for another second before covering her face with one hand in disbelief, and amusement; “You have got to be kidding me.”
“I’m serious.”
“I spent almost three years waiting for you to ask me out.” you said, your tone playfully dry.
His jaw dropped.
“You… what?”
you laughed lightly at his face, “I kept thinking, ‘Maybe after finals.’ Then it became, ‘Maybe after internships.’ Then another villain attack happened, and after that…” She gave a small shrug. “Life just kept happening.”
Izuku shook his head in disbelief. “I thought you were just being friendly.”
you laughed so hard you had to wipe at the corner of one eye.
“I sat next to you every chance I got.”
“I thought that was because the seats were convenient.”
“I volunteered to be your training partner whenever I could.”
“I thought you just liked working with me.”
“I brought you homemade cookies on Valentine’s Day.”
His winced.
“I thought those were for everyone.”
“They were.” you smiled mischievously, followed by “You just got the biggest bag.”
Izuku covered his face with both hands.
“Oh my gosh…”
you couldn’t stop laughing.
“You really had no clue.”
“I had absolutely no clue.”
He lowered his hands just enough to look at you, still smiling in complete disbelief.
“I spent all of high school convincing myself you could never like me like that.”
you looked at him with the same soft expression you had worn all those years ago whenever he doubted himself.
“And I spent all of high school wondering why the sweetest boy I’d ever met couldn’t tell I was completely falling for him.”
For a long moment, neither of you spoke.
Eight years had slipped away because neither of you had found the courage to say what seemed so obvious now.
Then Izuku smiled, the same shy, earnest smile that had first caught you attention when you two were students.
“I guess,” he said quietly, “we were both pretty oblivious.”
you laughed softly and nodded.
“I guess we were.”
you glanced over at the makeshift bar that had been set up along one side of the hall before looking back at Izuku.
“So,” you said with an easy smile, “are you going to stand here all night, or are you going to have a drink with me?”
A sheepish grin spread across his face.
“I think I can manage that.”
“I was hoping you’d say yes.”
you walked over together, weaving through clusters of classmates who were deep in conversation. A bartender greeted you both with a smile, and after a moment of deciding, they ordered different drinks.
She lifted her glass.
“To surviving high school.”
Izuku laughed and gently tapped his glass against yours.
“And everything after it.”
They took a sip before finding an empty spot near one of the windows.
For the next half hour, you talked as though you were making up for eight years of missed conversations. you told him about the agency you had joined after graduation, and he shared stories about his teaching life. you laughed over old memories, reminisced about training exercises that had seemed impossible at the time, and discovered that, despite everything life had thrown at you, talking to each other still came as naturally as breathing.
Eventually, Mina wandered over with Kirishima in tow.
“There you two are!” Mina exclaimed, pointing dramatically between them. “You’ve been hiding.”
“We’ve been standing right here,” you replied with a laugh.
“Exactly,” Mina said. “Together.”
Izuku’s ears turned pink almost instantly.
Kirishima chuckled and clapped him on the shoulder.
“It’s good seeing everybody again, isn’t it?”
“It really is,” Izuku replied.
The conversation gradually grew larger as more classmates drifted over. Soon they were all laughing together, swapping stories about hero work, teasing one another about who had changed the most, and reliving moments from their U.A. days that seemed even funnier with time.
Hours slipped by without anyone noticing.
Eventually, Aizawa, who had been persuaded to make a brief appearance, checked the time and muttered that some of them actually had work in the morning.
That was enough to remind everyone how late it had become.
One by one, people began gathering their things.
There were hugs. promises to meet again soon.
Arguments over who was responsible for planning the next reunion. More group photos than anyone thought were necessary.
The room slowly emptied until only a handful of former classmates remained.
you hugged Mina goodbye before waving to Uraraka and Tsuyu as they headed toward the parking lot.
When you turned around, Izuku was standing only a few feet away.
For a moment, it was just the two of you.
This was it. the reunion was over.
izuku looked at you, opened his mouth, and immediately felt every bit of confidence he’d built over the last eight years disappear.
Say something.
Ask her if she’d like to get dinner sometime. Or coffee. Anything
Instead, his mind went completely blank. He rubbed the back of his neck.
“Well…”
She waited, her smile patient.
“I…” He swallowed. “It was really… really good seeing you again.”
She nodded.
“It was good seeing you too.”
Another silence settled between them. Ask her.
His heart was pounding so loudly he was convinced she could hear it.
He took a breath.
“I guess…” The words refused to come.
“…I guess I’ll see you around.”
The second they left his mouth, he knew he’d failed.
your smile faltered for only the briefest moment before returning.
“Yeah,” she said softly. “I guess you will.”
you stepped forward and gave him a quick hug.
“It really was nice catching up, Izuku.”
His arms wrapped around you almost automatically.
“You too.”
When you pulled apart, you offered him one last smile.
“Goodnight.”
“Goodnight.”
He watched as you turned and walked toward the exit, disappearing through the front doors of U.A.
Only after you were gone did he let out a slow breath and press the heel of his hand against his forehead.
“…I’m an idiot.”
He had spent the entire evening laughing with you, you two had talked for hours.
you had admitted you had both liked each other in high school.
And when he finally had the chance to ask if you wanted to see him again…
He had said, I guess I’ll see you around.
From somewhere behind him came a familiar voice.
“…Midoriya.”
He turned to find Mina standing there with her arms crossed, having apparently witnessed the entire exchange.
She stared at him in complete disbelief.
“You did not just fumble that.”
Izuku closed his eyes. “…I know.”
“You had one job.”
“I know.”
“You literally confessed you had a crush on each other.”
“I know.”
“And then you said, ‘I guess I’ll see you around?’”
He buried his face in his hands.
“I panicked.”
Mina sighed so dramatically that it echoed through the nearly empty hall.
“I cannot believe I waited eight years for that ending.”
Izuku groaned.
“So did I.”

synopsis: after clarisse lashed out so cruelly, she debates on how to win you back— but faces difficulty— especially when you refuse to have anything to do with her.
authors note: hi guys.. sorry this is probably a year late.. i completely forgot about tumblr! anyways.. i’m so happy to see that so many of you enjoyed part 1! here’s part 2! enjoy <3 (part I here)
Clarisse had been rotting in her guilt for days.
Marinating in anguish of her own decisions and suffering the consequences of her actions. she couldn’t breathe.
clarisse was well aware how upset you would be with her, no doubt she was expecting a shove off and a bit of attitude from you— but no, you’ve been blowing her off completely.
You were very hurt by her words, but something else burned inside you. A flame of anger. You currently despised charisse- even if you truly did love her deep down, you couldn’t stand to be in the same room of her.
the daughter of ares had tried relentlessly to apologize for her cruel words and poor decision, but her apology was shot through deaf ears. having being blown off by you for days, she was fed up. Her heart was swollen with desire for you, she needed you to forgive her, and she wasn’t sure how much longer she could go without you.
she stayed up at night with the regret chewing her skin raw, replaying how she acted and what she said, regretting her actions and even more so her words.
Being ghosted by you was something she, frankly, never thought she’d have to worry about. She was one for unkind words, it’s not the first time she’s spoken cruelty to you— just.. not specifically about you, to your face.
Her once unshakable confidence and snarky demeanor was shattered into millions of pieces , scattered where the trail of your friendship had been. The dining hall, the sparing arena, her bedroom— everywhere she stood unshakable with you beside her was now filled with a deep , itching sense of regret and anger.
She was pissed, to be frank. At herself, but also; at you. Who did you think you were? ignoring her? acting like she didn’t exist? It made her unbearably angry— uncomfortable.
Her thoughts were in a whizz.
The sound of her spear being slammed into another campers shield was loud enough to break her from her temporary trance— her eyes flickering to the now fallen boy on the floor, glaring up at clarisse. oops.
“What’s wrong with you?” the boy, Allo, son of Artemis, barked at her, standing up. Clarisse felt a vein poke from her forehead, her composure that was barely there to start with was now almost completely gone.
“What’s wrong with me?” she bit back, slamming her spear into the floor “What’s wrong with you? You’re the son of Artemis and you can’t handle a bit of a fight?” she snapped, her voice raising.
Allo scoffed, mumbling something about her being an ass before he dropped his shield onto the ground as well, successfully passive-aggressively falling onto her spear, before he made a face at her and left.
Clarisse bit her tongue, closing her eyes and taking a breath- she couldn’t wring his neck, no. at least.. not here.
her thoughts quickly drifted away from the irritating situation and back to you, of course. Your face clouding her mind. yes, there is absolutely no doubt that she was pissed , pissed at you— but… she wasn’t. she was just… she didn’t know how she felt.
Clarisse bent down to pick her spear up, her head elsewhere.
She’d never thought about her feeling of you— or, for you. she never put much thought into how jealous she was, or how much your validation and attention meant to her. how your words and praises made her feel so good.
that’s just how she was, right?
Clarisse placed her spear back into the weapon holder, removing her breastplate and placing it over the hook alongside the other armor, her feet dragging her to the dining hall, signaled by the lunch bell.
her dark brown eyes quickly scanned the vicinity , and immediately found you. You sat with Percy , as well as grover and annabeth, the group chatting amongst each other, and you occasionally chiming in, though… she noticed how upset you looked, how hurt you were. And, that familiar feeling of regret chewed her chest out, because no matter how much she covered her guilt with anger and blame, she knew your expression was her fault.
She scoffed, looking away; filling her lunch tray up with food, though she was the last thing but hungry. She wanted to desperately talk to you- not matter how much she denied the fact she wanted to, but she knew it was no use, you’d brush her off like you did the last few times— and she was not going to… beg for you.
she wasn’t.
no matter how badly she wanted to.
—
You poked your food, percy and his friends chatting away about some quest they were going to sneak out to do.
Normally, you’d be super invested and obviously guide them to, you know— not to do that, but.. you couldn’t find it in yourself to care.
Clarisse’s hurtful words stabbed your soft heart like a dozen of tiny little needles having a birthday party in your most fragile organ.
You were beyond upset, her face , her words— the won’t stop replaying. she basically called you a whore. She basically called your siblings whores, your mother. It was so.. wrong. so mean. but.. you couldn’t help but want to amend, to just pretend it never happened, to shove it down and go back to normal.
You knew that that wouldn’t happen anytime soon though. You knew she was upset at you— which just made you even more upset. You loved clarisse. You did; no matter how much you wanted to desperately deny it, deny how you were in love with your stupid.. asshole friend.
the worst part is, you knew she loved you back.
It wasn’t something that was big fat secret, no matter how much she wanted to deny: Everyone knows clarisse is too busy to do relationships, and too scared to acknowledge her feelings.
You heard the familiar chatter of her voice, your eyes automatically flickering up to find her , sitting at her usual table surround by siblings and friends. you could see she was bothered, and you knew she was upset about the whole situation, but too mighty to admit to it. you scoffed under your breath, standing up.
the group you sat with looked to you as you stood grabbing your tray, “I’m gonna go,” you said, smiling at them “let me know how your plan goes, okay?” you said, to which they bid farewell to you, and you scattered off to place your tray elsewhere and back to your room, where you can sulk in peace.
clarisse watched you go, her eyes following you like a key in a lock, her body itching to follow you. to mend— to.. apologize.
she bit the inside of her cheek, chewing it. she shouldn’t. she wouldn’t. she was too proud.
…
fuck it.
clarisse stood up, leaving the table without a word, leaving her tray behind as she followed after you.
what was she doing? following you like a damn dog. shit. she was pathetic.
she quickly caught up, grabbing your arm before you could open the door to the Aphrodite cabin.
she hated how she relished in the feeling of your skin on hers.
She watched as you turned around; apon the realization it was her, you tugging your arm from her grasp. she bit a scoff.
“what?” you mumbled, avoiding her gaze.
The cold seeped into clarisses fingers, even through the sleeves she had pulled over her hands. You two stood beneath the sun, even if it was cloudy, it’s never felt so cold before. The distant chatter of other campers was nothing but background noise, nothing in the face of your own little silence—sharp and heavy, like glass about to break.
clarisse kept her eyes on the ground. Her breath came out in clouds, white against the yellow of the sun. She hated this. Not the silence—the waiting. She knew what she had to say. She just couldn’t make her mouth move. Her pride clung to her like armor, welded tight across her chest.
You were silent as well, your arms folded, your eyes downcast, not looking at at clarisse, but thinking about her— that only made it worse. made it harder.
Clarisse had always been sharp. She knew how to protect herself—with sarcasm, with distance, with fire when needed. She had spent years building herself like that, careful, brick by brick. And then you showed up , and didn’t ask her to take it all down. you just looked… at her in a way that made it hard to keep pretending the walls were comfortable. That she was comfortable inside them.
And—god, clarisse knew she’d been cruel
she shifted on her feet, heart pounding. Her mouth felt dry. The words were right there—but every time she got close to saying them, something inside her recoiled. If she apologized, it meant admitting that you mattered. That she’d hurt her. That what she felt—this mess of affection and fear and something terrifyingly close to longing—was real.
She wasn’t good at real.
Still, you hadn’t walked away. clarisse had half expected you to storm off, or worse, say something kind and final. But she just stood there, quiet, giving you space to be brave.
clarisse took a deep breath. “I was... mean,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
you didn’t respond, not right away.
“I shouldn’t have said what I said.” your eyes flicked to her, then away. “You didn’t deserve that. any of that..”
Silence again. clarisse pressed her teeth into her bottom lip. That should be enough. It was an apology, wasn’t it?
But it didn’t feel like enough. Not for this.
“I…” clarisse hesitated. The next words felt like stepping off a ledge. “I get.. i don’t know.. upset sometimes. When people get close. It’s not you, it’s me being—” She shook her head. “Scared. Of how I feel. About you.”
you sigh.
“clarisse— i.. know you speak with words,” you said causing the girl to bite a scoff “But what you said, isn’t so easily forgivable— you— you can’t just expect me to forgive you for what you said and act like nothing is wrong,” i told her.
clarisse sighed, rubbing her forehead. “I know,” she said in a bite “but i’m trying, okay?”
“try harder, then,” you retorted , still not facing her. she scoffed at that.
“I.. ugh. fine. Just.. listen, okay? i’m..” she sighed again..
That finally made you look at her, was she actually going to say what you thought?
“.i…” fuck. should she say it? she didn’t want to— she shouldn’t.. but..
“I like you,” Clarisse finally said, each word like pulling teeth.
The air between you two seemed to shift. your face be and less upset—your eyebrows drew together not in anger, but in something gentler. Compassion, maybe.
Relief.
“You could’ve just said that,” you said in a mumble, letting your arms unfold and fall to your sides.
Clarisse scoffed, breathless and sharp. “Yeah, well. I suck at saying things.”
you turned toward her fully now, stepping a little closer. “You’re doing fine.”
clarisse blinked. “You’re not mad?”
“I was,” you admitted. “i still am— and.. what you said was.. really mean, and i was really hurt. but... I get it. I know you’re not used to this.”
clarisse felt the weight in her chest shift, not vanish, but lighten. “I’m trying.”
“I know,” you said. “thanks for trying.”
clarisse looked at you—really looked—and this time, she didn’t look away. The cloudy sun cast a soft glow over your face, your eyes a warm kind of steady. There was no sadness or anger in them now. Just patience. Hope.
And for the first time, clarisse felt like she could breathe again.
bf izu hcs!
♡ at first; he wasn’t even able to touch your arm without physically flinching away.
♡︎in his defense, he’d never had a girlfriend, and then the one time he really, really likes a girl— she actually likes him back; just as much!
♡︎lowkey has a staring issue. You’ll just catch him gaping at you every now and then, mostly in shock at the reoccurring realization that he gets to call you his girlfriend
♡︎can’t call you his gf. physically it won’t come out of his mouth.
♡︎super gittery! Always nervous around you(it’s cute!) he’s always kind shaky from how nervous he is.
♡︎FLIPS OUT when you hold his hand; is scared on how to hold your hand back. What if he holds it too tight and hurts you? what if his fingers are in a weird position? or his hands too sweaty?—
♡︎gets really embarrassed when you reassure him that it is, indeed, okay for him to touch you. not that he’d do so without asking… ever.
♡︎later into the relationship, he’s still shy, nervous, not really used to actually having someone to call ‘his’.
♡︎THE SWEETEST BOYFRIEND EVER, though. ahhhhh!
♡︎treasures you. treats you like a princess— like a queen.
♡︎first time you kissed him, it was on the cheek; he froze. literally went from ice cold in the winter air, to boiling hot. every single cell in his body flaming. he felt a pop in his chest and he swore it was his heart exploding.
♡︎his face is always either rosy pink or tomato red, no matter what you do. touch his arm? blushes. compliment him? fumes. kiss him? he explodes—
♡︎if i’m being fr… he’s a bad kisser; and he knows it. he’s just so nervous, so, so shy— his lips are so stiff and awkward, he doesn’t know what to do or how to move.. not to mention the fact your hand on his bicep was sending electricity through his whole body.
♡︎still, so sweet.
♡︎loves you so much. he literally cries when he gets home from dates because he loves you so much.
♡︎ definitely can’t do anything without some kind of permission; doesn’t kiss you, doesn’t hug you, call you, text you, without consent. he’s scared of over stepping.
♡︎ eventually, though, he gains enough courage to text you first— if he’s feeling studious; he might even call you.
♡︎definitely squeals and kicks his feet at every text you send him.
♡︎ his home screen on his phone is the one you sent him after your first date. you were kissing his cheek, and his face was so red it was absolutely humiliating.
♡︎every single feminine thing he sees in public reminds him of you.

♡︎any time you say you think something is cute either online or in person, you always receive it in a cute bag in-front of your dorms door the next week or so.
♡︎ since you started dating him, you’ve been absolutely glowing in femininity.
♡︎his mom, ABSOLUTELY adores you!
♡︎she mentioned marriage the first time izuku introduced you to her, and you’ve never seen his face so red.

hihi! can i request ‘caught staring’ w/ todoroki where reader has dimples?

prompt: caught staring
shoto t. x f! reader
shoto was never the best at expressing how he felt. he struggled with words and the proper tone and emotion to put behind the construct that left his mouth, confused and frustrated with himself when the person he spoke to would walk away upset.
so, that’s why he’d opted to the more silent side. unknowingly, a lot of the time his eyes spoke for him.
Shoto had been staring at you all day.
of course, at first it was a little flattering, but now you are wondering if you had something ugly or something your face, like un-blended or smudged makeup; but when you checked, you found nothing.
Ashido and Hagakure had noticed to, teasing you about how the handsomest boy in the class was staring so hard at you. but honestly, you felt a little nervous. why was he staring at you? did you actually have something on your face you couldn’t see? did he hate you? was he planning your downfall?
your thoughts continued to flow as you sat at a lunch table with toru and mina, who were gushing about your current issue. and, as if on cue, your eyes caught sight of a familiar pair of heterochromia’s. you quickly flickered your gaze down, swallowing. gosh, you couldn’t stand this! what was his problem?
“y/n-chan, how’s your secret admirer holding up?” Hagakure teased you, and you couldn’t help the embarrassment that caused a ticked in your cheeks. “do i really not have anything on my face?” you touched your cheeks, to which mina shook her head with a sigh. “Don’t you get it? he probably likes you!” she whisper shouted, almost sounding like an exasperated mother. You shook your head;
“I don’t think so. Todoroki-kun?” you said, flicking your eyes behind toru only to catch said boys eyes, who stare shamelessly at your face. what part? you couldn’t tell.
you looked away, “i don’t like this.” you huffed, covering your face with your hands. Mina and toru looked at eachother (kinda) and then back to you.
“is it uncomfortable?”
“it’s weird!” you shouted a little too loud, quickly covering your mouth when a few people glanced your way. Mina groaned, expanding her body over the table. “Just, like, ask him why he’s obsessed with you.”
Toru laughed, “yeah! ask him why he keeps staring.” she says, pausing for a moment. “how long has he been doing it, anyways?” her question makes you think. Sure, it was awfully obvious today, but now that you think about it, for the past few weeks, every time you’d look in the direction shoto was in, your eyes would meet his. You’d assumed it was coincidence, sending a smile and then turning away. but, as of recently, his glances have tuned to minute long stares.
“hmm.. i used to catch his eyes a lot for around two weeks, but i think that was coincidence,” you hum, placing a finger to your chin, “this whole staring thing really just recently started this week, I guess.”
Mina sat up, laughing with her whole chest. She gave you a look, and you raised a brow. “I get it.” she sighs out, dragging her breath dramatically. “He thinks you’re cute!” she squeals, and you wish you couldn’t feel the warmth spreading to your neck and the tips of your ears. “why else would he be staring? if you insist he doesn’t like you, then he definitely thinks you’re cute.” she said casually, like she was a confident detective who cracked a case.
Toru put her hands together, “that makes so much sense! i mean, you are really cute, Y/n-chan!” she reached over and squeezed your cheeks, causing your eyes to water. “exactly!” Mina added, looking at your face closer. “Long eyelashes, soft skin— and oh!” she gasped dramatically, slamming her hand in the table— you jump a little, hagakure, too.
“It’s them!” she points to your cheeks, and you send her a confused look with a small tilt of your head. “Your dimples!” she states like it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
you send her a look of surprise, unsure of her words. “think about it, he’s always staring in hopes to see you smile, ‘cause when you do— your dimples show like the sun in the sky!”
you rub your cheek, “are they really that obvious?” you murmur, sighing. “so… what? do i go up to him and— what? smile?” you ask in disbelief, and mina nods like a wise monk. “why not? mina is right. he probably thinks you are super cute and pretty, and can’t help but stare!” hagakure chirps.
“okay, stop, your making me blush!” you gush, and your smile makes Mina cock her head to the side— and of course, shoto is staring right at you. she was always right.
“after class, go up to him and ask him why he’s been staring. if you do I’ll buy you three Daifuku!” mina bribed, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Me too!” hagakure added to the bet, and you turned serious.
“deal.”
that’s how you ended your clutching your schoolbag tightly, a little tremor in your hands as you watched todoroki put his books neatly in his own bag, toru peaking behind the door with mina, giving you a thumbs up.
with a shaky sigh, you approached him. before you cautiously approached his desk, his eyes flickered to you. Your face heated lightly with how his eyes darted across your whole face before latching to your own eyes, staring. your throat felt so dry.
You cleared your throat, smiling at him softly before you spoke.
“Hi,” you managed, and you swore you heard one of your friends giggle in the back. Shoto didn’t say anything back, he simply stared at you. has he no shame?!? your face was sure to be at least a little pink, and you fiddled with your keychain.
“I.. um… i was wondering if there is something wrong with my face?” you ask with a low tone, expecting a reaction but not really getting one. “I’ve noticed that you been looking at me a lot— n-not that i’m accusing you, of course!— i-i just wanted to know if there was something wrong with my… face…” your voice died down as he stood up slinging his school bag neatly over his shoulder.
“My apologies. I didn’t know it would make you uncomfortable,” he said, and you felt steam blow from your ears from embarrassment. “N-no! that’s not it— i’m just curious—“
“I just couldn’t seem to look away from you.” he admits shamelessly, almost like he didn’t know the weight behind his words. You looked at his side profile when he turned his head, “I.. think you are very pretty, and I couldn’t look away.” his honesty hit you like a bus, and he apologized a final time before walking past you, leaving the room through the open door.
you stood there, completely and totally awestruck. Todoroki shoto, the most beautiful boy— ever— thought you were.. pretty? No, very pretty?
you couldn’t believe this, and you surely couldn’t believe how fast your heart was racing.
Hii! For the summer event could you do hairpin or lipgloss with Bakugou x reader?

prompt: lipgloss
Sitting at your vanity and doing your makeup was always a priority before going out with your boyfriend, Katsuki. Though, the nut didn’t seem to get it through his head why it was that it took you as long as it did.
curling your lashes, you looked at yourself through the reflection of your vanity, seeing Katsuki glaring at you through the mirror as well.
“You done yet, or what?” he barked, grumbling under his breath as he scrolled on his phone, hiding his chin away in his hoodie.
“Hm.. almost.” you hummed, batting your lashes into the mirror, gently using your finger to curl them up and using the curler once more.
Katsuki was heard scoffing, as he continued to lay on your bed, “Tch. when you say that it takes longer.” he grumbled, looking at you through the reflection of the mirror.
you hummed, focusing on your makeup. “than it seems like you answered your own question, kats.” you said to him, gently applying mascara to your lashes.
He watched, his face resting as he followed the fluid movements of your hand moving with the mascara, coating your lashes in a thick paste of black. he grumbled.
“it’s not like you need at that shit, anyways.” he said, looking back to his phone, scrolling on what you could only assume to be twitter or something like that.
“awe,” you cooed, playfully. “are you calling me a natural beauty, katsuki?” you asked him, fluttering your lashes a little before coating the bottom ones with mascara as well.
“yeah, yeah, whatever, jus’ hurry up.” he scowled, looking up at your reflection before flickering his eyes back to his phone. he continued to sit comfortably on your bed as you finished your makeup, looking yourself over once before reaching into your drawer.
katsuki’s red eyes followed your movements, watching you retrieve a pink, cute lips gloss bottle from your vanity. He watched you closely as you applied the lipgloss to your plump, pink lips, rubbing them together with a ‘pop’, before smiling into your reflection, with a successful nod. He watched you spray your perfume, and stand up.
he didn’t say anything as you stood up, brushing your hair behind your shoulders and placing your white purse over your shoulder. You wore low rise jeans with a cute, white shirt with lace trim. He likes it; not that he’d admit it. ever..
“Okay,” you hummed “I’m ready now.” you smiled at him, looking as he laid on your bed. He let out a gruff huff of air, tucking his phone back into his hoodies pocket, and shuffling off your bed, standing up.
you smiled as he rose to his full height; and his eyes flickered to your newly glossed lips.
“what’s up, kats?” you ask, “you’re not complaining anymore.” you said, looking at him. He squinted his eyes; silent for a moment, before he bent down to kiss your lips— he didn’t often do this, so it was a sweet gesture. you hummed against his lips, and he moved them a little before pulling back.
“what was that for?” you asked, with a tilt of your head, and looked at the lipgloss that coated his lips now, as well.
“what’s with that?” he asked you, raising a brow.
“with what?” you retorted,
“that lipgloss.” he said “it’s new.”
you grinned at him, letting out a soft laugh, “oh? so you noticed.”
“of course i did, idiot.” he scoffed “I’m not dumb.” he said, and licked the lipgloss off from around his lips “it’s cherry.” he commented, looking at you.
“just how you like it, katsuki.” you said, kissing his cheek. He grumbled, looking away. “whatever.”
“aw, don’t be a tsundere!” you teased him, as you two walked out of your room.
“shut up, idiot.” he grumbled, secretly enjoying the flavor of your new cherry lipgloss. He hoped you’d wear it again.
behind the moon shadow
tanjiro k. x fem! reader
it was nights like these that you knew he had difficulty with sleep.
the soft, considerate patter of socked feet against the tatami floor, aimlessly wandering through the butterfly estate. usually, you’d be a rather deep sleeper, but you know that the days prior events were to no doubt owe tanjiro a sleepless night. so, you kept awake, listening for those soft padded footsteps.
you slipped out of bed, quietly and carefully opening and closing the shoji of your room, delicately delivering yourself to the kitchen. you didn’t know where the burgundy haired boys current location inside the estate was, but it was only a matter of time before he showed up.
and, like a moth to a flame, he turned the corner as you were poring the tea. His expression held one of surprise, clearly not expecting to see you awake at this hour. You sent him a kind, tired smile, placing down the tea pot and offering him a freshly filled cup.
with shaky hands he took it, though his face held confusion. “can’t sleep?” you asked softly, holding your cup with both hands as you await his answer.
He nods, and if the eye bags were anything to go by you knew he needed this tea remedy immediately.
“yes,” he replied bashfully, smiling at you. you ignored the lunge in your chest. “you?”
“I suppose you could say that.” you retort, a closed eyed smile left your expression before you could stop it. you couldn’t tell him you were up and waiting for him, could you?
You fixed your posture, taking steps forward and passing the sleepless boy, motioning for him to follow you. He did so, sloppy almost spilling his cup as he trailed after you.
The two of you walked outside, following along the engawa until you had a proper view of the full moon. You sat along the engawa’s edge, patting the empty space beside you. tanjiro sat down beside you. he was close.
You both allowed your legs dangle over the edge, the two of you sipping your own tea in the soft noise of cicada and cricket songs.
you failed to notice the lingering gaze of the kamado boy in your peripheral vision, too pre occupied with your own thoughts of him. Tanjiro was awestruck, to be frank. the way that the moonlight encased your face was nothing less of ethereal, the most beautiful thing he’d ever had the pleasure of seeing.
in honesty, the young boy was ready for sleep. his body ached and his time was well spent during the day, but it wasn’t the nightmares of prior demons that clouded his mind. it wasn’t the dread that ate at him at night, or the fear that itched his bones while he lay down. it was you. his mind was completely, and utterly flooded with thoughts of you. and, he wasn’t sure how to cope.
His racing mind could barley keep up with his heart, rocking his body back and fourth like a shishi-odoshi under heavy water. he couldn’t think. he couldn’t breathe. it was suffocating.
but, now, as he sat beside you under the moonlight, his suffering was all worth it. you were really something, weren’t you?
Tanjiro knew you had no trouble sleeping at night, he’d asked you before how you slept. He knows you get up to make him tea. he knows you care for him. so why does it bother him when you refer to him as kamado-kun? why does it ache him when you introduce him as your friend, why does it burn when you say goodbye or good night?
Now, he was unknowingly, fully staring at you. you felt the intense pressure of his eyes on you, and with a soft expression you turned to face him, though worry was no doubt littered in your irises.
“kamado-kun?” like a deer shoved out of bright light, he snapped back to reality. your eyes traced his face, brows furrowed in concern as you watched him. your gaze made him feel warm.
“a-ah, i’m sorry, y/n-san,” he blurted out, scratching the back of his neck, his eyes bashfully trailing back up to the full moon. you smile, although he couldn’t see.
silence followed after his words, and it was different. something unfamiliar traced the air, something awfully familiar. tanjiro’s heart beat soundly in his chest, and his eyes fluttered shut. from exhaustion or realization he couldn’t tell, but he knew he enjoyed it.
“The moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it?”
tanjiro’s throat swelled at your words.
He jolted, shooting his eyes open— quickly fixating on your face, only to find your eyes searching his. Tanjiro had heard that phrase before, from reading a few books and even takes of stories, but he didn’t think much of it.
a declaration of love. could it be?
he couldn’t find his voice, helplessly trying to find a response with the lack of his vocal cords in the time he needed them most.
he stared into your eyes like a helpless boy, and you couldn’t help the peachy blush dusting your cheeks.
“yes, it is.” he finally choked out a reply, though his voice came out hoarse and dry, you held your smile.
“the moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it, tanjiro-kun?” you repeated, this time barley above a whisper. Tanjiro hadn’t realized how close you’d gotten until you were only inches away, but respectful enough to notice.
his mouth was closing and opening over and over again, not being able to find the right thing to say.
“yes.” he whispered, staring helplessly at you. his eyes dipped to your lips, soft and plush as they held a smile.
“tanjiro-kun?” you called in question, soft and quiet as the moonlight lit your face. an angel.
“y… yes?” he didn’t know what else to say— he couldn’t say anything else. he didn’t know how.
“can i kiss you?” your question held a tone he hadn’t heard before. soft and delicate, but laced with something that was different. something he wanted.
he nodded, just barley, cheeks warming as your smile didn’t falter, but grew. and slowly— so slowly— you lent forward.
it was so slow, patronizingly slow. the time it took for you to carefully and delicately place your lips on hush— but when they finally met, it was euphoric.
your lips were so soft, so warm, tanjiro felt like he was melting under the warmth of the sun, even as the moon shone high in the sky. He kissed you back, unsure and shy, be he did the best that he could.
it only lasted a few seconds, but it was like a dream. and the blush on both your cheeks were hidden by the darkness of the moon, and just your facial features were illuminated by the light it generously radiated.
when the soft embrace ended, you felt like the breath you took after reached every corner of your lungs, scratching your fibers in extent to freedom. You could breathe, and you heard tanjiro breathing, too.
slowly, you slid your hand against thengawa and embraced your hand with his, intertwining your fingers. he squeezed your hand, reassuring and shy. You looked at his eyes, and although you couldn’t see much, you knew he was thinking deeply.
but, you didn’t think any words needed to be said. the kiss you shared said more than a thousand words.
and when you both looked back to the moon, hand in hand, you began to think maybe it wouldn’t hurt to say them aloud, too— but, it seems he beat you to it.
“I love you.”
windy afternoon
y. itadori x f! reader
windy afternoons were always the most troublesome.
especially in spring, between the brink of winter and summer, when the temperature is warm but the breeze is oh so cold, leaving someone who was minding their business to be left as victim of the weather, not sure what emotion it might be feeling that day.
unfortunately, itadori was one of those said people. so he found himself lounging inside Jujutsu high instead of his usual hobbies he took part of outside, instead occupying himself with manga he’d found lying on the couch side table.
he chewed on a strawberry pocky as he read, awfully invested in the story of the book in his arms, even though it was the third volume. who knew he would be so invested in a shoujo manga?
“hm? you’re here too?” Gojo’s voice rang playfully across the walls of the lounge, causing the pink haired boy to jerk his head to the side to meet the teasing gaze of his teacher.
“ooh, gojo-sensei,” he greeted, watching as his teacher lazily took a seat beside him on the couch, relaxing in the soft cushions.
“why’re you here? i thought you usually get lunch out.” he rose brow at his teacher, who’s smirk failed to fade. “same reason as you. it’s too windy!” he whined, scratching his head as his head pointed upward, only to pause for a moment before turning to face yuji.
Itadori couldn’t see his teachers eyes, but knew they were on him. “where’s y/n-chan? you two are always together.” satoru’s tone had a hint of something yuji couldn’t quite place his finger on, and so he decided to ignore it. “She’s with kugisaki. they went shopping.” he grinned at the thought, unaware of the absolute teasing eyes that were trained on the glint in his own eyes.
“ah, girls,” Gojo tsked, crossing his arms, looking straight ahead. “especially nobara.” he hummed, pausing a few before turning back to his student.
Satoru smirked and scooted closer, Yuji side glancing him at the mischievous smile on his face. “so, itadori-kun,” gojo mused, “what’s your relationship with y/n-chan?” the white haired man almost laughed at the confused expression on itadori’s face, he swore he saw question marks on either side of his head
“huh? what do you mean?” his head tilted to the left a little, “we’re friends.”
gojo hummed, nodding his head as if he understood. “really? i wouldn’t have thought that.” he put a lengthy finger to his chin, holding in his amusement. sometimes his student was so oblivious.
“hah? why?” itadori nudged, looking more and more confused as the seconds continued. his sensei shrugged, “i guess because you two always seem so close, i mean— i would’ve thought you two were boyfriend and girlfriend!” satoru said those two words loudly, quickly looking to yuji in excitement to see the absolutely bewildered look that was likely to be on his face, but was only met with a neutral one. gojo’s joy fell. damn kids.
"oh. well, we're just friends, it's not like that with me and her, you know?" he said back, his eyes glistening over as they usually do when he talks about someone he cares for, but his were extra bright when talking about you.
"Why not?" gojo mused, continuing to milk the subject.
Itadori shrugged, “We just.. we've known each other too long, I think." his reply came with a low tone to it as he flipped to the next page of the shoujo in his lap, unaware of the buzzing man beside him.
Satoru hummed again, silence followed for a moment before he spoke, putting his hand to his chin. "So, you wouldn't go out with her if she asked?"
"I didn't say that.”
yuji’s response came as natural as a human breathes, his voice was smooth and steady— almost like he’d wanted to say it. ah, satoru was right once again, utahime ows him 500 yen for sure.
with that, he stood up, and Yuji’s eyes moved to the menacing smirk on his teachers face. “Ah, well, you should ask her out.” he said with a laugh, “i’m sure she’ll say yes!” he slapped the top of itadori’s head before he dashed out the open door, leaving the boy to ponder.
though, sometimes yuji wasn’t the smartest boy.
but… he did wonder what his teachers goal was. Yuji didn’t like you like that… did he?
you were his friend, someone he loved, so much.
someone he loved.
he loved.
loved.
you.
he loved you.
with the realization, the shoujo he had in his lap was long forgotten as he walked out of the room.

you sighed, placing a few of Nobara’s shopping bags on the table. really, where does she get the money for all this?
“ah, finally,” kugisaki kicked off her shoes, plopping on the couch of the lounging room with an exasperated sigh. You sat down at the table, flopping your arms over the wood and placing your head down, cheek on the side as you shut your eyes. shopping was exasperating.
“have fun, n/n-chan?” Nobara teased a little, knowing that you were exhausted. you nod, a little laugh left your throat as you did so.
you shut your eyes, breathing slowly. as you began to drift off, the shoji door suddenly slid open to reveal Itadori, who scanned the room.
“Ah! Itadori-kun, you should’ve gone with us, you— hey!” Nobara was cut off when he suddenly reached for you, hauling you to your feet. You blinked away, gasping as you were pulled out of the room. “Hey! get back here! where are you taking her, hah?!” Nobara’s calls were left to deaf ears as your friend dragged you down the hall, “Itadori-kun! what’s going on?” you yawned a little, eyes watering some at the end, as you waited for his reply. but it never came.
you couldn’t see his face, but you could tell he was in thought. he suddenly pulled you behind a wall, releasing your wrist from his grasp and letting out a deep exhale. you rose a brow.
“Yuji, what’s all this?” you cross your arms, looking at his face. His eyes were looking at your own, yet they seemed so far away, so distant. “i need to say something.” his reply came out as his usual voice does, but it was different.
"What? What's so important you couldn't say it infront of kugisa-" you were cut off when his lips met yours, a sqeak left your mouth with the sudden action, eyes widening at the unexpected moment. your cheeks heated wildly when he pulled back, but he seemed just as shocked as you.
“I just kissed you." he breathed out, almost like he couldn’t believe it himself.
“You just kissed me..." your voice came out hoarse, and your throat was as dry as it sounded.
"I just kissed you." he says again, looking at your lips, dazed.
"Why did you just kiss me?" you stutter out, heart racing inside your chest wildly, suffocating you.
"I just wanted to try it once to know what it felt like, and it felt...good. really good. I'm gonna kiss you again." he announced, looking determined as he met your eye. you absolutely exploded into different shades of red, breath hitching as you saw him step closer, your hands coming to grip the end of your skirt for support.
"o-okay!" you shut your eyes, missing the pink that dusted yuji’s cheeks as well.
"okay!" he mirrored, and his lips met yours again.

megumi f. x f! reader
with the sweet scent of newly blossomed flowers and tree leaves, the smell of spring weaved into the breeze as needles knit clothes, steady and soft, creating something beautiful.
with the change of the season came a change of emotions, twisted and unwelcome, the feelings inside Megumi’s chest become more of an abnormality than his irritating classmates.
with the exception of you, of course.
with the change in year, came the change in visuals. with the leaves of spring littering the ground, Megumi found himself with a heavy burden. a suffocating feeling, a gnawing sensation.
The boy wasn’t one for allergies, his immune system lived up to its name— so, when spring came around and he suddenly began to feel short of breath and warm, he wondered if maybe he’d grown into allergies. the thought was disturbing.
Cherry blossom trees littered all over japan, but it only seemed his ‘allergies’ decided to act up in the strangest times. Sometimes, in class. others, outside.
but, what surprised him, is that when he walked along the most heavily pollinated roads, his allergies showed no trace.
perhaps, he’d thought, he wasn’t sensitive to the blossoms, but something else.
what could it be?
“Megumi-kun!”
the suffocation of his closing throat was surprising, and he felt almost as though he could drop to the floor— claw and beg for air, a desperate attempt really— but, instead of that, he subtly turned afoot and faced the call of the voice.
you walked over to him, the pounding of his heart in its prison rang throughout his body like a scream in an empty cave, shaking him.
the smile on your face was radiating, sweet and soft like the petals of a sakura. warm and gentle, like the tender kiss of the sun on cold skin. Your eyes were bright, like the stars in the sky on a dark night. like the reflection of the sunset on a river, shining so bright it hurt.
Megumi didn’t reply, he couldn’t find the words, silence engulfed his mind and soul, and he hoped he wasn’t gaping at you. that would surely be embarrassing.
“where are you going?” you ask, voice littered with a hint of genuine wonder, tilting your head in that cute way you do when you’re curious. Your eyes squint the smallest amount, skeptical of where he was going, brows furrowing in wait for a response.
Megumi swallowed the lump that grew in his throat, choking him.
“the store.” those two words felt like he’d just screamed the best he could with no effect, helpless and unable to do what he wants. Two words were all it took for you to light up like a candle.
He watched your curiosity and wonder construct into joy and excitement, putting your hands together a front your chest. “ah! do you mind if I tag along? I was going to do the same.” Initially, fushiguro wanted to say no, his allergies were pretty horrible, but he couldn’t find his voice to deny your request.
the breeze spoke for him, shuffling his hair around and allowing him to subtly nod his head. and as you clap excitedly , beginning to talk about whatever it was you thought he would find interesting, he couldn’t help but stare at you. your voice was a melody unlike anything he’s ever heard, a song that was more beautiful than the songbirds that sing good morning. more beautiful than the sounds of the sakura petals hum in the spring.
from jujutsu high, the nearest convenience store was about a ten minute walk. though, with you, it felt like seconds.
before the blacked haired boy knew it, the bell to the automatic sliding door opened, and you were quick to ask him what he came for.
“what did you need to get, gumi?”
that nickname had him on another planet. orbiting a in a separate galaxy, far, far away. Once again, the poor boys allergies acted up. throat sewed so tight he couldn’t breathe, heart beating so fast it shook his whole body. was it really this awfully warm in the store? was it him? or was it the hand you had around his arm?
“ah! i know. it was shonen, right? for yuji-kun?” how did you know that?
Itadori had basically begged him to go the store to get him the weekly shonen because he’d been banned from the store a few weeks ago, and he just couldn’t go without the manga. Eventually, despite fushiguro’s protests, itadori successfully managed to convince Megumi to do his dirty deed.
Fushiguro nodded. He swallowed, and he swore it was the most difficult action he’d ever taken. Why were you so close? he could smell you.
you smelled like the sakura blossoms.
“i knew it!” you shook your head, releasing the soft grip you had on megumi’s arm to tuck some hair behind your ear. “Well, i’m here for a few snacks.” you bashfully admit, motioning towards the fridge.
“I’ll be quick, so you don’t have to wait!” you say, smiling as you walk off. Megumi’s eyes trail after you, his heart beating in his throat.
these allergies were ruining his life.
After a moment, he made his way over to the books. The latest shonen was on display above all others, beside a shoujo. two opposites, yet they rival eachother perfectly.
He reached for the shonen, grabbing it from its stand and flickering his gaze to the shoujo as well.
would you like something like this?
sometimes he catches you reading manga. they always have silly romance titles and a couple on the cover. do you like shoujo? or do you prefer shonen like itadori-kun?
without his permission, megumi’s hand reached for the shoujo. it was labeled ‘when the heart beats for someone, it’s the words ‘i love you.’’ he stared at the cover with a blank face. why was the title so long? He looked to the shonen, ‘Fight Or Die!’ this one was pretty self explanatory, but with a short title.
He put the two books back to back, walking over to the checkout. He wasn’t sure if he’d give the manga to you, but if he did he’d hoped you’d like it it. he thinks you would.
before he bought his things, he glances to the food area.
you were in deep thought, apparently. brows furrowed, cheeks slightly puffed, eyes squinted— the face you made when you were highly focused or confused on a subject in school, megumi recognized it all too well. he waits a moment, thinking. should he buy your food? he did walk with you. but, he had limited money and was already buying two books. how much was food at this place again?
he was deep in thought by the time you finished, approaching him with two items in your hand. “Ready?” your voice knocks the breathe from his lungs, stealing his air like you were on the moon. he nods.
He watched you pull out your wallet, and before he could offer to pay— “are you going to put the manga down?” your voice held the smallest tint of tease to it, taking the books from his hand and adding them to your bill. was he really about to let you pay for his books?— even though, technically only one was his. You didn’t seem to catch onto the covers as you paid, thanking the employee and turning around to face megumi.
he was almost embarrassed when the second you turned around your eyes locked— was he really staring? you smiled, grabbing your snacks and allowing him to grab his books, bidding goodbye to the store employee as you exited through the same door you entered by.
Silence followed for a moment as you two walked, but it wasn’t the suffocating kind. it was… nice.
Megumi reached into his pocket, retrieving around 500 yen, stopping in his tracks and holding the coins to you. you looked at him confused.
“For the Manga,” he clarified, holding up the books. You sent him a close eyed smile, reaching to his had— but, instead of taking the money, you closed his fingers around his palm, shutting his hand into a soft fist. “No need, it’s my treat.” you clarify, holding a thumbs up. “oh!” you say suddenly, holding up a small pack of two Yuki ichigo.
Now, it was megumi’s turn to be confused, brows furrowing as he subconsciously tilted his own head, black hair shifting lightly. Cute!
“It’s for us to share, if you’d like.” you offer with a shy smile , one he didn’t seem to catch onto. “I wasn’t sure what flavor you liked, so i got a two pack. one is strawberry and the other is…” you turn the back of the plastic, not seeing a name. “… it doesn’t say. but… hopefully you like strawberry because it’s yuki ichigo.” you chuckle a little nervously, a little flustered you’d not checked both flavors. Megumi likes strawberry, so you didn’t choose bad.
“I like strawberry.”
your face absolutely exploded into one of relief and joy, “But i can’t accept it.” your expression fell just as fast, a small frown on your lips. megumi watched, shuttering.
“You already paid for my Manga.” he said, looking to the two books. separating them, he put the shonen in his bag and nervously held the shoujo.
“I… thought that maybe you’d like this.” his voice came out much calmer than he thought he would, and he couldn’t find it in himself to meet your eye.
what kind of guy was he, really? he wanted to give you something, and you ended up paying for it.
a gasp from your lips made his eyes flicker up, breath being once more stolen from his body as the expression on your face lit up.
“I love this one!” you replied happily, taking the book from his grasp and gently brushing your fingers against his. “Thank you, gumi.” you smile fondly, and only then, does megumi see the small tint of peachy pink on your cheeks.
was that.. blush?
with newfound courage, you smile, stepping on your toes.
Megumi’s breath caught in his throat as you got closer, eyes watching you like a magnet, and heart pausing when you placed a soft, warm kiss the the tense jaw of the black haired boy. Your lips were so smooth, he could smell your cherry lipstick. he could feel the lipgloss mark it left on his burning skin.
it was only then, under the sakura tree in early may, with the sun shining on your face and the shoujo he’d thought you’d like in your hand; did he finally realize that his thing he’d been feeling, it wasn’t allergies.
it was love. and, he’s sure it would ruin his life, as the way you hid your face behind the Manga he’d gifted you made him want to squeal like a little boy.

princess azula x fem! servant! reader
the boredness the princess felt was beyond horrific.
azula placed her head in her palm as she lazily held her eyes on ty lee, doing a contrast of many different athletic styles. Mai read a book beside the princess, and azula began to question why, exactly, it was that she was here.
Mai and Ty Lee had made a rather unexpected trip to the Palace, catching Azula off guard from their sudden visit and causing her to fall through with her secretive plans she held.
Today was supposed to be a rather calm day, her father was organizing a plan for something she frankly didn’t care for— which was one of the rarest occasions, but her attention was too occupied on you.
azula had planned on spending the day with you, alone in her room. but, her dreams were ultimately dashed with the presence of her sincerely unwanted friends.
the princess roll her eyes as she watched Ty lee do a handstand, walking around. her eyes trailed along the royal gardens— her heart pausing its pulse when the sight of you caught her eyes. She involuntarily and automatically straightened her back, removing her hands of its position in holding her head up. Her golden eyes glued to your body as you carried a tray of refreshments on your hands, keeping your eyes straight ahead of you as you approach Ty lee causiously.
Azula couldn’t quite make out your soft ofer to the circus member, but ty lee accepted your drink with a smile. Sweat embraces azula’s palms as you turned to her and Mai, approaching with your head down.
Azula felt silly— like.. a school girl, with a big, childish crush.
“refreshments?” you questioned with a low voice, clear like honey and soft like sugar. Mai declined, and azula saw you nod and bow, turning to her.
You always put on the perfect facade, acting like everything you two have done was for nothing.
“Princess?” your voice was different when you spoke to her, softer, kinder— more gentle, an offer for something more.
Azula forced down her smirk, nodding and accepting your offer by taking the drink from atop the tray. You didn’t dare make eye contact with her infront of her friends, only bowing and exiting the gardens.
azula watched you go from the corner of her eye, smirking into her cup as she took a sip from the fresh lychee juice you’d offered.
“Mm! This is delicious!” ty lee exclaimed, walking over normally to Azula and Mai, chugging her drink with no waste.
“yes, yes,” azula nodded, only replying to keep the girl at bay. Mai scoffed, “I hate lychee juice.”
Ty lee frown, putting her glass on small table by the chair azula sat on.
“But, it’s hot,” she expressed, waving her hand to cool herself down. “Aren’t you thirsty?”
“Not for lychee juice,” mai bit back, causing ty lee to huff. “Well, let’s get you a drink!” she grabbed mai’s arm, causing the girl to drop her book and loose her place. Azula sat up, fighting back excitement. “where are you two going?”
“To get mai some water,” said ty lee as mai fought her grip, groaning. Azula nodded, “very well.” she played casual, waving her hand to excuse them as she took another sip of the drink you’ve given her. Azula acted uninterested as the girls walked off, their bickering slowly fading away form her hearing as did their figures.
Azula stood from her chair, leaving her drink and set her destination to her room. She walked with quickened steps, hiding her smile with the facade of her furiously storming down the halls, keeping everyone else away from her. When she reached her dorms, she rang the servant bell— knowing you’d be the one she called for.
Azula crossed her arms when she closed her door, tapping her foot on the floor in impatience.
after waiting for what felt like hours, you finally arrived. As beautiful as always as you slowly entered azula’s room per her permission, only meeting her eyes when you realized she was alone.
Your mouth began to speak— but you were silenced by the slam of azula’s lips on yours. your voice muffled, fading out as you melted into her hungry kiss. Your hands instinctively wrapped around her neck, her own hands harshly gripping your waist.
Azula pushed you onto her bed, leaning over you as she bent down to continuously kiss you. Her chest met yours, her thick armor cold against your skin, feeling the roughness through the thin layer of your clothing.
You let azula devour your lips desperately, knowing how she becomes like this when you are away for long distances of time.
she pulled back only to allow you to catch your breath— thin, translucent trail of saliva the only remaining factor of your previous action, as azula waisted no time in training her kisses to your jawline.
You automatically shifted your head up, allowing easy access for her to retreat to the soft, bare skin of your neck. You caught your breath, your hands holding tightly to the bedsheets bellow you as azula moved down.
She kissed your jawline, trailing her way down to the skin of your neck, kissing a lightly sucking the sensitive area, basking in the sounds your mouth left for her to receive.
she began to unlace the band of your clothing— but was stopped by the guest bell that struck her door. She froze, and you instantly gasped— shooting up from underneath her and quickly re-tieing your maid-robes— fixing your messy hair.
Azula groaned, annoyed. “Why can’t mai and ty lee leave?” she asked aloud, causing you to lightly laugh. “They’re your friends, ‘zula. they want to spent time with you.” you replied, pulling few strands from your newly done bun, turning back to the princess, only to find her already looking at you.
“I don’t want to be with them,” she bit, reaching out to you. “i want you.” your cheeks heated up, preparing a response when the bell softly went off again. “I have to go,” you sigh, quickly bending down to leave a soft kiss on azula’s forehead, then her lips. You fixed your appearance one last time, with no mirror, and azula saw you smile at her before you left, closing the door behind you.
You turned a fast heal, hoping to not be seen leaving the princess room— alone.
Two approaching shadows halted your movements, your eyes flickering up timidly to see the two figures of azula’s friends. You bow, explaining the reasoning behind your actions all while missing the scan of their eyes and the pure shock embracing not only Ty lee’s features, but Mai’s.
The girls were only a few feet away from Azula’s room, hearing through the grape vine that once they’d left she’d “gotten bored” and made haste in her bedroom. But now they know why.
You stood before them, red lipstick stains trailing kiss marks from your jawline, to your neck and down to below your robes where they could not see, leaving their imagination to fill in the blanks.
You automatically took their shocked faces as one of disrespect for you looking at them without permission- so you bow, getting on your legs and allowing your head to touch the floor in respect and apology, getting up quickly to scramble from their way and rushing back to the maid’s quarters.
Mai and Ty Lee’s eyes trail after you, jaws dropped and eyes wide. They make eye connect, “what was that?!” ty lee squealed, in shock, covering her mouth at the remembrance of the event. Mai let out a bothered sigh, placing a hand to her forehead and massaging her aching head. “I don’t.. want to know,” she splutter out, the thought of her friend being intimate was purely a nasty thought. Ty lee seemed more interested than Mai, who was blatantly uninterested and, frankly, grossed out.
“Should we go see Azula? or…” Ty lee seemed to need guidance, brows furrowing in worry. Mai rolled her eyes, placing a hand to her hip. “Obviously. we can’t just leave.” she waved her fan, walking ahead of ty lee to the familiar door of Azula’s room.
For once, they knocked. Permission from the princess granted their entrance, and they avoided the usually piercing gaze of Azula, who seemed to notice their sudden.. lack of words.
The princess stood from the chair she sat in infront her Vanity, leaving Ty Lee wondering what exactly she was doing with her makeup out…
“Well?” she placed both hands to her hips, raising a brow. Mai knew they wouldn’t get away with the obvious tension the the room because of how painfully obvious Ty Lee was.
“what?” Mai asked, avoiding to sit on Azula’s bed as she covered her face with the fan in her hand. Ty lee stood beside her, itching the dry skin of her bare elbow.
Azula scoffed, moving her arms to cross over her chest. she decided it was best to ignore the company in her room, walking past them and out to the hall. Ty lee quickly chased after; hoping to leave the room. mai was close behind.
Azula led them back to the chairs they previous sat in, the trio walking rather fast.
Mai covered her mouth with her fan, leaning over to Ty lee. “Don’t mention it.” she demanded, earning a nervous squeak from the girl, causing azula to give them a strange side glance before they officially made it to their destination, azula placing herself under the shade of her umbrella, mai doing the same. Ty lee nervously began rubbing her hands together as she sat on the grass, under a tree.
The silence was so loud, louder than any sound. the air was thick with an intense kind of awkwardness, it was so horrendous even azula began to break a sweat under her many layers of armor.
Mai clearing her throat, which made azula shift her gaze to the black haired girl, who seemed to be shaking her head at the circus member. Azula squinted her eyes in suspicion, following Mai’s gaze to see ty lee, who was sweating and anxiously chewing down her nails.
azula made a face, “What?” she bit, catching both girls attention. “what is this? what are you two doing?” she questioned with demand, wanting an answer.
She caught once more the sly shake of mai’s head as she peer to ty lee; who shifted her gaze between the two girls.
Azula was now almost fuming, steam coming from her ears— as she was about to shout demand for an immediate answer— her prayers were answered.
“We saw the kiss marks!” Ty lee shouted out, sighing in temporary relief before instantly slamming her hands over her mouth with wide eyes. Mai growled under her breath, putting her hand over her face in disbelief.
Azula was confused, the expression she held was quite an obvious one on the always tense face of the princess, and mai noticed.
“She doesn’t know what she’s talking about,” she barked out, glaring a deep stare at ty lee before acting like nothing happened.
Azula wouldn’t accept that, as Ty lee was still chewing off her skin.
One fierce glance from azula’s now settled face caused a shiver from ty, “The maid… we saw her leave your room—”
Her words faided out, and suddenly the realization had slammed azula in the chest.
You.
You’d left her room with the lipstick trails she’d left on you, ones she’s so clumsily forgotten to mention to you. This was her fault.
Azula must have looked as bewildered as she felt, as ty lee covered her face. As quickly as azula lost her composure, she gained it back. Clearing her throat and waving her hand. “Must—” she cleared her throat again, a pitiful attempt at getting rid of any lingering chances the fact might really be true. “Must have been the wrong room.” she tried her best to play it off, which, usually, would have worked, but the pair already knew the truth.
Azula’s secret was out.
dread overcame her like a tsunami, and fear tickled her bones. what if her father found out? what would he do? what would happen to her?— what would happen to you? the love of her life? the thought horrified her beyond comprehension.
she felt her façade threaten to slip, and the gaping eyes of her friends had her sweating profusely, like a child being caught doing something naughty.
once more, the silence followed. It was, frankly, agonizing. By far the most painfully awkward and tedious moments of Azula’s life.
She switched her hard gaze from mai to ty lee multiple times, almost daring them to mention it again.
“are you guys.. you know..” Ty lee almost cried from the peircing eyes of the princess and mai, a whimper leaving her mouth.
Azula felt sick. not just from fear, but embarrassment as well. Of all people, mai and ty lee? really?
She didn’t want to admit it, but what better would lying do. She could see it in their eyes that they both already knew the truth of the princesses relationship with you, a maid.
Azula huffed a furiously agitated gruff and massaged her temple in irritation, covering up any signs of fear she would have.
Mai let out a kind sigh, removing her hands from her face.
“We won’t tell anyone, Azula.” somehow, the princess found her words oddly comforting. But she didn’t dare show it.
“I think it’s best you two... leave.” Her words didn’t have the ferocious bite that they usually do, but instead a warning, something to ‘let them off the hook.’ Mai nodded, and ty lee shot up, clearly the pair had overstayed their welcome, and azula watched with heavy eyes as they left the royal garden, obviously fighting around the subject of Princess Azula and Her Mistress.
Once out of sight, azula allowed herself to groan into the palms of her hand. How could she let this happen? how? what has she become? under your gaze, your touch— she was like a pie, hard on the inside but so soft once you come around. You’ve weakened her— but she can’t help herself from staying with you.
the princess stood up, making her way down the halls and to her room, now with the understanding why her friends were oh so stiff.
she sat on her bed, staring at the ceiling. she’d rang the maid bell, calling you.
with a gentle knock and a hushed whisper, you entered the door to the princesses chambers.
The look on your face made her realize that you’d realized the issue.
“Princess,” you whispered in a hushed tone, and she fully sat up.
she hates the tension when you fear to talk of certain subjects. she hates the look in your eyes when you think she is upset. she hates how much you care.
before you could speak again, two familiar hands wrapped around your waist, pulling you atop the princess on her bed. in a swift motion, she held you under her. Kissing you again.
Your were surprised, this was most definitely not what you were expecting.
“Azula!” you gasp when she bit you, ignoring the warm feeling of blood trickling down your neck.
you’d thought she’d want to talk about it, but you suppose not. either way, this was wonderful.
