shitty MS Paint 3 minutes doodle, nto entirely accurate: When you have your pinky hooked on the “bottom” edge of the phone for the extra security so it doesn’t slide out of your hand that easily, you’re wreaking damage on your hand, since the pinky is extremely askew from it’s resting position. You might have noticed that when you hold your phone like that for long time it begins to hurt, like when you are gripping a pen too tightly for example.
Green lines - the fingers are going their natural way. Red line - the pinky is way off, that’s bad.

These help a lot!! I got it as a gift years ago and since them bought multiple new ones after break of last one, and my pinkies nor wrists hurt anymore nearly as bad as they used to. These rings feel a lot more secure than popsockets, so you do not need to support your phone from the bottom. It even stopped my phone flying out of my hand on multiple occassions when people bumped into me in public transport.
Plus, they double as phone stands! I love them i use them for years. Sometimes when i have phone in hand and no pockets and i need to hold other things in my hands I just flip my phone on the outer side of my hand and walk around like that! Its very convenient for my forgetful and easily distracted mind.
For those in need of whimsy, they are harder to find but you can find them shaped in fun shapes (i had one where the sticky side was four leaf clover) and if you have access to japan or aliexpress, you can totaly buy them with acrylic bases shaped as some of your fav characters! I currently have Eevee adorning my phonecase and a little broken charmander on another. Both are very loved. They are harder to find so selection of fun shaped ones is limited, but its there. I know that nowdays they sell magsafe ones too.
Most of them are cheap too, i rarely buy ones that cost more than 10€. Most common price i pay for them is really 1-6€ per piece. Very worth it, very helpful with wrist and pinky pains.
