idk how to even post about this cuz ive just been reblogging stuff normally like its not affecting me but obviously it is. i lost a friend to cancer this weekend and she was a huge phannie and even got to meet dnp recently and tour their studio. she was genuinely the sweetest person ever and also secretly had a dark sense of humor, but the kind of dark humor that never hurt others. her letterboxd was chock full of romcoms and her recently listened to was all hamilton and wicked. the last things she dmed me about were superbat shipping and ofc a cute dan and phil moment from tatinof.

hey, do you know what jameela jamil's problem with them was? those radio shows were awkward

imagine being the first female and one of very few POC presenters on radio 1 after spending years in professional media only to be told that your chart show will now include 2 silly internet boys whose goal is to make your show silly too. btw they had no real experience and were given this job without even seeking it out. oh and they're now the most popular and celebrated djs on the station winning an award in their first year and also lines of fans appear wherever they are

like as a dnp fan them on the chart show was sooo fun and they were dumb and just doing whatever <33 but also imagine if right now your boss came in and said "we're adding a 23 year old tiktoker who's gonna play around with his friend to your job :)"
