a ton of people have unexpectedly followed me over the last 2 days so here is my rent-lowering gunshot:

the american south is the most racially diverse and poorest region of the united states, and any political sentiment that treats the south is stupid or expendable is inherently racist and classist. a lot of y'all are racist and classist. the south is also the heart of american culture. argue with a wall. you cannot deny that everybody in the entire world does not emulate artists from atlanta. there is vested interest in keeping the south poor and uneducated BECAUSE this is the most racially diverse region in this country. if you actually give a fuck about progress, you would fight for the south, not mock us.

To be quite honest with you all I do think that aro/ace-spectrum fans in fandoms where people are desperately inventing crossover ships and humanizing non-human characters in order to have a conventionally attractive guy to ship the main character with, instead of possibly having to enjoy a story with no romance in it, have the right to refer to everyone else as cowards.

I have an absolutely massive russian guy as my driving instructor rn

Whenever i get into his car i have to spend an embarrassing 3 minutes adjusting everything back into clown car proportions so i can fit. Anyways a couple lessons ago he had me do the same route over and over to practice and there was a dead seagull in the middle of the road at one point and to keep correct positioning on the road i was required to drive over its carcass like 19 times just goring this seagull until the 20th lap when my instructor looked at the seagull that now more resembled tomato soup than a bird and said "this time. you spare seagull" and so i did and then he said "incorrect positioning on road"

I had my last lesson with this guy a second ago and when we passed a dog on the path he said, apropos of nothing, "dog die? I feel nothing."

#this sounds like just as insane of an experience but in a very different way than my first driving instructor #he was an old white american man who made several insane comments including:#(talking about how he thinks japanese cars are bad) “I think they still haven't gotten over WWII”#and #“Don't run a red light but if you do and get caught you'll probably be fine because you're a girl.”#he also took me on the freeway within 15 minutes of me driving a car for the first time in my life

While I've seen more people talking about people being mad about the City Council of Darkness finale than people actually being mad about it I'm still surprised that there is a negative reaction to not every plot thread being tied up. It was less resolved than most seasons, but to me that seemed to imply a probable second season more than sloppy storytelling. Especially as Brennan reminded the audience of the issues with Beholder, etc, that the characters will have to deal with. I still wish this season had more episodes, but a surprising amount was resolved considering the time they had.

agreed! I also just don't expect side-quest seasons to do the same kind of grand narrative, concluding character arcs, and satisfying epilogues, especially when thematically this season stayed silly. on one hand love so many of their character arcs. on the other, the PCs took very little seriously. it was gonna be a silly one, and im excited to see what they do next.
