I love when a meme gets so many steps away from its source material that it would be completely incomprehensible if I didn't know what today's date was

So I saw a noodle post on my feed — and my first thought was 'oh, it's already May.'

And then my Brain — if you imagine it driving a car, zooming past billboards full of thoughts — suddenly slammed the brakes.

Cartoon accordion sound. A puff of smoke.

It gave a dubious look at the camera, backed up, and spent another minute comparing the noodle post (dashboard) with the thoughts about May (big letters on the billboard).

Occasionally glancing at the camera.

Then the car got caught up by a running old lady — Memory — who handed it papers with a printout — and a reminder why 'noodle' on Tumblr means May.

the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal

This is the work of Lyndon Willoughby, a graphic designer who makes custom posters for games and films, I've included my favourite five above which are the Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening, Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild, The Super Mario Bros. The Shining and Star Trek. I chose these because I really do wish that posters today, specifically movie posters, took inspiration from these, and were more basic and colourful, showing the vibrant aesthetic of films, or bleak and miserable films and just had simple fun posters instead of floating head posters with white backgrounds. Each poster has a main idea that gets across the general idea of the game and film and I really like how they look, especially the breath of the wild.

It’s even better than that. He didn’t drug that coffee, but the other one, the one he isn’t offering to Wilson. He did this because he (rightfully) assumed Wilson would not trust him and ask for House’s coffee instead.

Also noteworthy is that when Wilson drugs House through coffee this very same episode, he does it by drugging the offered cup, because he knows House would never even think to suspect him.

They are insane.
