Ba’kif - he still cannot think of himself as Patriarch Labaki - is no stranger to marriage. As one of the Blood, he has done his duty to the bloodline long ago before he was promoted to general and had to leave spouses and children behind. As Humans say, he walked the walk instead of talking the talk. All of his babes are grown, many with children of their own, some followed him into the CEDF, others to the UAG, more into the Stybla economic engine of trade and shipbuilding. He’s advised many, mentored more, and now heads the Stybla since his retirement.

So, courting a fierce Human warrior ought to be a simple matter.

Another design is using 2 20x25x1 filters, taping them to the sides of the box fan and then to each other so they sort of make a triangle, then cutting cardboard to make a top and bottom to the triangle.

This was discovered as a more effective design during the 2020 US west coast fires.

I’ve personally used both the flat single-filter version AND the triangular two-filter version, and based on subjective personal experience I would argue that the benefits from the second filter, both in terms of airflow and filtration, are absolutely worth it. If you need a makeshift air filter and you have two filters to work with, build the triangle (if not the box, i have no idea how good that one works but based on the info here i presume it’s a fair bit better.)

honestly a pity that Luke & Leia being siblings was so tacked on to the original trilogy bcos i think retroactively Leia being Anakin's daughter really beefs up some aspects of A New Hope, namely:

taking the prequels into account, the fact that Anakin fell to the dark side bcos he was trying to protect Padme and their unborn child and then his first on screen atrocity in the OT being unknowingly torturing his own daughter has a delicious irony to it. especially given extent to which Leia and Padme are parallel characters. love that.

the fact that Vader correctly predicts that Tarkin's plan to get the location of the rebel base out of Leia won't work. he's presumably there like 'well she'll just lie. that's what I'd do' and he's right bcos Leia does think the same way as him.
