This dance worked for my college admission and three years later it worked and got me a job (scratch that, TWO job offers) so I guess it really works in some weird way.

Like even narratively it makes sense to me! The story really likes to make all the family members have secret lives and twilights dad was so suspicious! With the whole "work trip" because "things are heating up at the border" and then promising to come home for the festival that never happens because the bombs land that morning before he gets home??? And then he just never shows up!

And if he is a sss agent whos hunting twilight he will eventually have to face the same conflict as the rest of the family his job or his family! And if hes a ex spy who had a cover family in westalis that really brings twilights story full circle!

And they look just alike! The same jaw line the same cheekbones the same nose the same hair color and he has the same eye color as twilight and that suspicious scar!

The more i think about it the more likely it seems lol but its driving me crazyyyy i really want to know what twilights dads deal was and how sss guy got his scar!
