The way I write, like Dostoevsky, would probably make some of y'all hurl, and I'm okay with that. Some people are just born to be stream-of-consciousness writers. Okay? No, for real though, as a kid, my teachers always said I had run-on sentences. But even when I got better at punctuation, they were like, "You still have very long sentences." And I'm like, "Okay, but I'm not breaking the rules, so..." Now I don't even care much for rules, to be honest. I know when and how it's best to go against them to better serve the atmosphere, and my atmosphere is always... how do you say... chaotic with a gravity whose direction is unknown, its intent being to disorient as much as direct the reader.

It's like a philosophy class in real time, but all the philosophers are condensed and talking as hot people to make you further convinced, "No, this is my philosophy for sure," until it goes off the rails and then you're stranded on the cliff edge looking down at all the bodies of these characters throwing themselves into that abyss of the unknown, and you're sat there contemplating that age-old question your mom always asks: "If all your friends jumped off a cliff, would you?"

I was editing my bio, and this just came out, and I wanted to make a proper post for those who need a reminder. "Maturity" isn't knowing big words or having a large vocabulary; it's not being able to write, read, or speak eloquently either. Maturity knows it can always be open to learning something from anything and anyone, no matter their age. It's knowing the wisdom in knowing when to make sense of something and when to simply throw oneself into the blissful overflow of the experience of life lived to the fullest, whatever that means to you.

Everything in life is all a matter of perspective. Go find yours!
