Ok so here's a list of my tags, mostly so i can fucking remember them. Since I have trouble with that, a fair bit of the tagging will be inconsistent and blurry, but at the very least there shouldn't be any posts lost to the tagless void (for posts that would otherwise be lost to the tagless void, see #ut, untagged). Putting a read more cause it's... long.
#personal: posts that involve my original contributions, and usually discuss aspects of my life or opinions. It does not mean you can't/shouldn't reblog it or anything, if I ever make a post like that it'll be tagged #don't rb
#good work boys: for feats of community and/or just people being good at peopling, things that in general make me think "good work, boys😌"
#bad work boys: the opposite of that, failure of the subject, "bad work, boys😔"
#aminals: for cute animals, and generally stuff related to them. I try to keep it separate from #biology, since that can have stuff like animals getting hurt and such, but there's some crossover for stuff like vet care since i don't have a separate tag for animals
#ecology, #art, #history, #sociology, psychology, #fandom, #politics, #government, #municipal planning, #architecture and #tech are all fairly self explanatory subject tags (I'll update the list as i think of them. Application is generally pretty broad so if you're wondering if something's in one it probably is, I like adding tags to stuff)
#spaaaaaaaaaace (I think that's all of them, this is just separate from the above cause idk how many a's are in it) is my general tag for space stuff
#workers rights, #unionize bitches, #capitalism and #labor history are for discussion of the rights of workers, why you should unionize (unionize! bitch!), capitalism in general but almost always why it's evil, and the history of workers rights, respectively.
#fuck nestle in particular and #amazon workers, are for specific hatred of Nestle, and Amazon's horrid treatment of its workers respectively
#election is currently just for the 2020 presidential election, as far as i remember. If other elections of particular note to me come along, they'll be in here too
#activism is for activism related things; calls to action, discourse, reminders to avoid burnout, etc. Mutual aid posts all have this tag, as well as #mutual aid and any relevant tags i remember to put on
#fwiendship is me interacting with my friends, or posts about friendship in general
#people are people: historical evidence of people being... y'know, people, who do silly shit and have fun and feel emotions
Edit: it's metastasized into just general examples of people in all situations- historical or contemporary- being people
#amory is stuff about romantic relationships
#!!! is for stuff I personally want to remember
#life advice is for, y'know, life advice, OR, crucially, things I think it's funny to tag with life advice. It should be easy to tell the difference, I'm not tryna confuse anybody
#regular advice is for like... advice on small not widely applicable things like art techniques for example
#panopticon is for things related to corporate or state surveillance
#nobody wants to help mom with the dishes: shortening of "everybody wants to save the world, nobody wants to help mom with the dishes", a tag for discussions of preference towards flashy and impractical single actions over long term work to reduce suffering and build group cohesion
#the way of the bit: posts about bits. I came up with the tag as a funny joke but the philosophy implied is genuinely influential on my outlook. Not just seeing the humor in everything, but attempting to be everything, to see all the angles and choose the one that's best, or just funniest.
