you wouldn’t call abuse by a depressed person “depression abuse”.
you wouldn’t call abuse by an anxious person “anxiety abuse”.
you wouldn’t call abuse by a person with adhd “adhd abuse”.
you wouldn’t call abuse by an autistic person “autistic abuse”.
-
so why would you use “narcissistic abuse”?
-
you could however experience:
emotional abuse
verbal abuse
physical abuse
domestic abuse
etc.
-
you do not need to stigmatise NPD further to validate your experiences, so keep pwNPD out of it.
js tho there r ppl who think autistic people, especially autistic men, are uniquely abusive. ive been told that my abuse wasnt my abusers fault bc she was autistic, implying that its just a natural behavior for them/they are incapable of understanding that abusing people is wrong (note: im also autistic!!!!). autistic abuse isnt real and neither is narcissistic abuse. ableists stop being shitty challenge.
