Thinking about making a second account to post about original story ideas, ye or nay?

To elaborate on this; I had a writing group when I was younger, and I really enjoyed receiving and giving feedback on stories. Unfortunately, all my friends who were in the group have kind of moved on from writing/gotten busy with other things and don’t have time for all that anymore, so finding even one person willing/able to read my original work and offer feedback has been really difficult. I don’t know any local writers my age and there’s no local groups I can plug into.

And this is partly why I started posting fanfic, so I could find some kind of community. And I have, and it’s awesome!! Now that I’m out of school, I’ve been getting back into a lot of my original works, and I’d like to find people to share it with. I’m just curious if anyone who currently follows me (especially my moots) would be interested.

TADC finale was unironically one of the best cinema experiences I’ve ever had. The audience was laughing, gasping, and the whole thing felt so communal. Never had a cinema experience like that before, likely never will again.

For a series titled “Animator vs Animation,” it’s interesting to me how the Animator is becoming less and less influential.

Like we started this series with him as the major antagonist for the entirety of season 1, tormenting these stick figures on his computer. Victim was completely powerless against him, Chosen put up a good fight but was eventually defeated, and it was only Chosen and Dark working together that finally seemed to make this god-like outsider check himself.

Season 2 and the Showdown he got to fight the Virabot and Dark a bit, but he was nerfed pretty quickly by both.

Now here in season 3, he’s barely been present aside from a single fight that he was literally forced to run from. And I can’t really see him coming in for the climax, given that his computer’s likely in a bad state and he’s completely locked out of the Outernet even if he did get it back online.

It’s just very interesting to me that a character who is literally in the title, the guy who started everything, has now become barely an afterthought. It’s not like he’s become any less invincible; at the end of the day, he’s still untouchable. Even if you shut his device down, he can always restart it, disconnect, get a new computer; he can always come back.

But the same thing that keeps the stick figures from getting to him is no longer an advantage, it’s a hinderance. Because they’ve gone beyond his computer, they’re beyond his reach. He can’t do anything unless they call on him, and even then, it takes almost no effort to kick him back out.

They may not be able to hurt him, but he can’t help them either.

I wouldn't say he's an afterthought.

Victim has been emulating early noogai throughout this season, both in how he fights and in how he sees other sticks as tools rather than people. He deliberately reenacts his own trauma unto others just to gain power over those he sees as his enemies. His whole crusade this season started because he learned that his partner was killed by another creation of noogai.

Dark is now implanting missions into other sticks, despite his continuing defiance of his own mission. Moreover, he's turned to "creating" other sticks to do his bidding and kill for him, just as he was created to kill on noogai's behalf.

Chosen is repeatedly bound, leashed, and imprisoned, and on top of that has been robbed of his powers, a change displayed through an altered name; all things that hearken back to his own time under noogai's thumb.

Even Orange is not exempt: he and Alan may get along now, but their relationship began as a transaction; one where Alan used Orange's innate abilities for his own purposes. And once again, Orange cooperates, for the sake of his friends.

The animator is haunting this narrative and all four of these sticks are mirrors reflecting his ghost. His influence is palpable this season, so much of what's happening is a ripple effect caused by stuff he did in season one.
