Please look at how many of us speak from experience. I used to think the same things you did. That TME trans people wouldn't hurt me if I was nicer to them. That there was a chance at weeding out their transmisogyny if I could just prove I was a friend. That I wouldn't be permanently isolated in those spaces until they found a reason to try and drive me to suicide. But it wasn't the case, because these people are hellbent on hating you and me. Get out of there. Your sisters are waiting for you.

I hope you understand that transfeminist spaces won't be perfect. Especially if you're racialized or disabled. It will still sometimes be difficult to find your safe people if you are multiply marginalized. Transfeminist spaces aren't utopian by any means. But from the perspective of this Black disabled transfem? Transfeminist spaces are still a hell of a lot safer than TMRA spaces. You'll find racism and ableism everywhere, but most transfeminists actually try to acknowledge and unlearn it. It's better here.

there's so many pick me transfem bloggers that did everything right as far as tmra bloggers expect. they shrank themselves down for the sake of the trans men they hung around, they misgendered themselves and called themselves male and talked about how they were inherently monstrous because they were camab, they prioritized how the trans men around them wanted to fetishize them while co-opting the aesthetics of transfeminine suffering, who take on the language of hypothetical identities like amab transmasc to legitimize transmisogynistic ones like afab transfem, and inevitably their time comes. one by one, one of these poor women have expressed a concern about transmisogyny, about herself or a trans woman she knows, and like clockwork there will come the whisper campaigns, the innocently concerned anons in askboxes, the wokescolds, the callout posts calling her a pedophile for having an anime pfp, a zoophile for being a therian, a transandrophobe who hates trans men even if the girl in question does nothing but post about how much she loves her transgender boyfriend and men like him

i feel terribly for these women and girls. both the ones who have been tossed aside after making the slightest fuss about their own oppression for 5 minutes, and the ones who have not yet been discarded who believe they'll never be

i have somewhat come to resent the screenshot of the deltarune wiki with all the sources for kris's pronouns because it lets people who have cleared the low bar of gendering kris correctly feel a little too proud of themselves. Itrs great to piss of chud deltarune fans, but why dont we talk about kris's relationship to gender on a deeper level? want to talk about man country? the sword route? how their relationship to gender effects their relationship with noelle both in the normal route and weird route in different ways? No, you want to pat yourself on the back for gendering kris correctly.

its not really surprising that same fan wiki tried to minimize the use of they/them for ralsei. the peoeple running out wont consider what asgore means about ralsei hiding themself. or what either scene where ralsei is called a princess is conveying. or in analyzing ralsei's relationship to being a prince. they are interested in counting the number of times a character is called each pronouns.

It pretty directly accuses us of 'hiding' or 'fooling people into thinking we're women.' We aren't "passing as women," we are women, we're being correctly gendered as women. When people deride us for "passing", they're blatantly saying that they don't think we're women. Afterall, nobody says cis women "pass as women" when they're correctly gendered as women.
