My apologies to the original poster as I photo captured this post to add to the thread-I reposted this last year for pride and expect to repost it every year I have left-it’s our history people.
Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.
Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never “pay it no mind”.

You were so small, and the world was New. Everything was a first time for you, and you dove into it with aplomb.
Then they decided to use it. It was to help you, they said. A half-truth.

When was the last time you drew your dream bedroom, the kind with all manner of impossible features?
When was the last time you laughed, a full, deep-belly kind of laugh, the kind that has you clutching your sides as you wriggle on the ground?
When was the last time you gasped at something amazing?
You can still do those things, you know.
If you chose to. If you missed how it felt. You can feel them again.
Learn to smile at things that you don't understand.
Laugh at the little details that your senses skipped over.

okay so this is something im willing to bet no one cares about but we grew up in Montana and us and most of our community looked like mayonnaise came to life and had opinions. we were presented a very flat view of hip hop and rap that we didn't really question into adulthood.
we're trying to correct that now and we would appreciate recommendations. i know its our job to fix this gap but i would very much appreciate hearing what people who've enjoyed these genres for a long time have to say about why an album appealed.

Racism in the plural community is a real problem. Racism in the medical community is a real, dangerous problem.
Pour one out for DID/OSDD systems of color that go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed because the psychiatric institution dismisses them.
Pour one out for all systems of color who feel isolated because the online community often conflates plurality with whiteness.
Pour one out for systems of color who get called racist or appropriative because their systems incorporate aspects of their own culture, but people automatically assume they must be white.
Pour one out for systems of color whose voices are silenced because of their ethnicity.
Uplift non-white systems. Talk to non-white systems, not over them.
recently i have not been able to stop thinking about the very particular visual of a newly tfed dragon becoming so overwhelmed with having a snout that her brain breaks and she briefly stops being a person,,
imagine. a beautiful dragon still unsure of how to even move her new limbs accidentally rubbing her snout against the floor and letting out the most pathetic needy whine as she proceeds to do little else, utterly reveling in how right it feels.
she cant even form words, syrinx utterly unfamiliar to her still, and her attempts at questions about whether this is even real- or whether this is right- or whether shes allowed to even feel like this- all coming out as nothing more than pleading trilling and growling and whining...
and then a human gets her hands under the dragons snout and she collapses comically, completely, soft putty in her companions hands. shes not even present enough to be embarrassed, wings twitching and tail thumping so rapidly against the floor its less of a beat and more a sustained tone. her whines reach higher and higher pitches as fingernails find the exact spots at the base of her jaw to make her tongue involuntarily flick in and out, her desperate sloppy attempts at nuzzling far too weak because she cant bear to be untouched for even a second.
it doesnt take long after that for the dragoness to fall completely asleep (pinning her companion of course, for how could she move when the new and beautiful beast atop her whines so sadly every time she removes her hand?) and perhaps later when she wakes she will be fiercely mortified, memories completely intact as to how she acted.
oh she can insist that it was just a one off thing, that it was the effects of a foreign and yet affirming transformation, but every time someone catches her by surprise with claw, paw, or hand in just the right spot down her soft nose... she could hardly be blamed for the undignified noises she lets out, truly!
and when she goes into heat, and her scales become as sensitive as they were when they were freshly grown, she forgets how to speak more often than not when someone takes advantage of how weak she is to even the lightest of touch...
