Lowkey the TADC shit makes me never want to post my OCs in fear of being perceived and labeled something I'm not for a single character I have.

You can't make things morally grey anymore, it only exists in black and white to people. Opinions are always in bad faith now and simply having one labeled wrong will get you crucified and demonized.

Fandom isn't for fun anymore it's a competition to be morally superior or the biggest fan of something by knowing the most. If that's the case then why use fiction to cope anymore if it's just as bad as reality now?
