cant do the mutual first memory rb game because i genuinely cant remember anything. i dont know you were all my mutuals at birth. we were joined by the stars and by blogging
m,y first memory is that I Loved You and do still
found this at an antique shop the other day and was immediately like oh this belongs on tumblr. sniles sneetly. fwowns fwangry.
they won't tell you this in therapy but sometimes the best way to stop catastrophizing/anxiety is to interrupt your spiraling with "girl what the hell are you talking about"
It's not a cure but you have no idea how many times this image has helped me with my OCD
has anyone noticed recently that it's expensive
times like these really make you appreciate pouring river water in your socks
steven is a really funny character actually. he never went to school. one of his powers is astral projection for no real reason. hes a musical prodigy. he was so traumatized by the end of the show they had to make an entire epilogue series about it. he spent seven years looking like a 3rd grader. he was even bisexual
he went to the center of the earth. he saved the world in flip flops. he broke his bones every day and didnt even notice. he killed someone
he didn’t have a bellybutton. he actively chose to eat super crispy bits of potato that got left in the deep fryer. he lived in a house but his dad lived in a car within walking distance of his house. he could revive people from the dead. all of his clothes were concert merchandise. he had an outdoor washing machine. he was put on trial for murder. he broke both federal and state child labor laws
The murder he was on trial for was different than the murder he committed
The murder he went on trial for was a murder his mom committed. The victim of the murder was also his mom.
he plead guilty
I feel like it’s Owen Dennis’ curse to create a compelling, tightly-written animated mini-series that has teens or above as its target audience and respects its viewers’ intelligence. Only for it to fail because the executives utterly fumbled the task of actually advertising the damn thing.
having a hometown is such a fucked up concept. i grew up here so i do not want to stay here anymore. i miss it when i am away but once i am back i realise why i wanted to go away as far as possible from it. i am familiar with every corner of this place i did not realise when it slowly changed into something unrecognisable. i would probably like to be buried here but i'd rather die than live here
sometimes you just gotta put on noah kahan and
Moving back to your hometown after being away for years but you don't talk to your family here and all your friends moved away and all your favorite places are gone is so weird. It's your home town but it's changed and you've changed and it's not really your home town anymore but it can be again
im realizing very fast that people do not in fact know that sometimes things in stories suck on purpose and it sucking is the point
"this story is misogynistic!!"
>looks inside
>about the pressures of societal misogyny and how its bad
great way to format a deeply foolish take i saw recently:
"this story is fascist propaganda!"
>looks inside
>it's... V for Vendetta???
Worth noting that a primary tactic of fascism is to attack media literacy and the understanding and interpretation of art
sidewalk art I walked by today. there is love out there.
also a poem from the new, unreleased collection. very possibly my own all-time favourite.
Rocket cat! 😂
growing up I always wanted to be poorly understood by science
