While growing up, Jing yuan really did go through a lot and lost so many of his special friends that's why you promised him that you'd always stay by his side no matter what. You weren't good at comforting him and he doesn't like communicating about his feelings, you were scared each day that he'd let you go just like his other friends. You tried to be more cheerful around him to make him feel that you're always there and you'd never leave him.
Finally, when you both were adults, he became much better and happier than before and he really did deserve it. There's no day where he forgets to say thank you to you, for not leaving him and for always cheering him. In conclusion you chose the same path as him because you're a person who keeps their words. You made him feel like it's okay for him to change, he doesn't really like the person he is as you both grew up but you'd always find ways to make him feel better and he appreciates you for that.
Though he is a known criminal, you'll never ever report him because you already accepted the path that he wanted to choose. You'll secretly meet him and catch up with him just to make sure that everything is going well and of course help each other with your next plans and goals in life.

Because of your recklessness and cuteness at the same time, Diluc fell in love with you too much. He loved you despite your questionable behavior. Now he's inside the prison where you got called out for stealing. Diluc had a good reputation and you didn't know what the word 'good' was.
"Master diluc, we apologize for falsely accusing your significant other for stealing. This won't happen again, next time." The police said as they bowed their heads with their apologies, you rolled your eyes and finally you and Diluc left the prison.
"Can I ask my lovely y/n to stop getting in trouble?" He said when you reached outside the police station.
"Can I ask my master diluc to make me a good fine wine so that I could avoid getting in trouble?" You responded.

"how can I? They even said that this meeting is strictly for fatuis only and they cancelled it because you didn't show up!" You said. You're walking with each other together while talking about the recent situation you had.
"I'm sorry, my love. I'll treat you, think of it as the way for me to say sorry for you." Childe would be lying if he said that it wasn't really embarrassing because as you tell him the whole story on what happened earlier he couldn't help but feel embarrassed for you.
