As for this rarely being depicted in western media, you’re right. I’m just thinking of the show Quantico which in comparison had a scene where a dude who was pretending to be gay barged in and saw a woman without her hijab and they tried to pass it off as like “well hes gay so guess it doesn’t matter”.
