planned parenthood offering laser hair removal which is a really necessary gender aligning procedure for many trans women!
it being introduced alongside botox and fillers and multiple of their clinics suddenly saying that they won't perform abortions on anyone above a certain BMI even though it's against their own internal standards
beyond the reinforcement of beauty standards and body fascism like, idk how many people realize Botox is a specific brand name, and that brand in question has donated over $135,000 USD to Republican politicians in the past year alone. yknow the people that regularly vote to defund planned parenthood.
and another thing but like this is also why all feminists need to be pro fat liberation cuz shit like this puts pregnant fat people's lives at risk, even when they do access abortions they are often referred out to a hospital with a longer wait and a steeper bill, and often denied pain management. these stories coming out from fat women lately tryna access care alongside PP now selling the beauty standard to women feels interconnected and predatory.
why is this post completely broken in every way imaginable
Broken notes… deactivated account… removed image….
Finally, we have them all.
In addition: OP’s name is just… gone. No “[insert username]-deactivated[insert a bunch of numbers]” as is the standard for deactivated blogs.
Just the world “deactivated.” Look upon their post, ye mighty, and despair.
It’ll be almost impossible to find this post unless it wanders across your dash.
It wandered across mine. I shall help it travel forward.
this is not a place of honor
Oh hey post of Ozymandius, good to see you again standing on your feet in a desert where no one remembers you
you all deserve BETTER
respect non-binary people not because this is “a step to realizing they’re really a trans man/trans woman” but because non-binary people are deserving of respect in their identity. because being non-binary is not “just a stepping stone” for many people and they still deserve their identity to be respected.
being non-binary is being trans, and we respect our trans siblings in this house. full stop.
Beats you to death with hammers
I think the "pre" and "post" parts in "preposterous" should cancel each other out but everyone else seems to find my idea completely erous
happy pride if youre straight pay me 20 dollars
On this day, 13 May 1985, Philadelphia police attacked the home of Black liberation and environmentalist group MOVE with automatic weapons, then dropped a bomb on it, killing five adults and six children, destroying 61 homes in the predominantly Black neighbourhood, and making 250 people homeless. Almost 500 police officers fired over 10,000 rounds of ammunition into the house, which was filled with women and children, while other officers blew holes in the walls with explosives. The police commissioner then ordered the house to be bombed, which they did using an improvised device made from C4 given to them by the FBI. Only two people survived the blast and ensuing fire: Ramona Africa, and Michael Ward, aged 13. While no officials were prosecuted, Ramona Africa was subsequently jailed for seven years on riot and conspiracy charges. The incident occurred during the tenure of Philadelphia’s first Black mayor, a Democrat named Wilson Goode. The children killed were named Katricia Dotson (Tree), Netta, Delitia, Phil, and Tomasa Africa and the adults were Rhonda, Teresa, Frank, CP, Conrad, and John Africa. In April 2021, it was revealed that anthropologists at Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania had the bones of one of the children, unbeknownst to the families. * Learn more about institutional white supremacy in the police in this book: https://shop.workingclasshistory.com/products/the-end-of-policing-alex-s-vitale https://www.facebook.com/workingclasshistory/photos/a.296224173896073/1986639618187845/?type=3
Not to distract from your book, but I would like to highlight West Philadelphia Collaborative History’s series on MOVE as a resource for the curious + the interviews with the surviving involved parties.
The people who were there tell the tragic story of that day.
putting together both the sub and dub of this little moment because they’re so silly hehe

The claim is not new — the Miami Herald published its findings in summer 2025.
source for the congresswoman thing as well, because i hadn't heard about that:
The Trump administration has repeatedly attempted to restrict or thwart congressmembers’ access to ICE jails.
