Every time the claim approvals start to dip below a specified threshold, the US should shoot another insurance CEO to get them back up again
I think the threshold should be 99%
why not 100

seeing a lot of people suggest that healthcare CEOs should go into hiding or employ more private security and i could not possibly disagree more. you can't live the rest of your life in fear. i think it's imperative that they get back to work, in person at least 3 days a week at the headquarters address listed on their company's website.
Sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. Otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. You literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. You have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. The easy path does not exist. There is no get out of jail free card. You have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. And you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. It’s horrible but it’s truly the only way.
This is a blessing!
Leave your church.
Actually!
If your church (and/or spiritual leader in an official capacity, like say during worship services) is endorsing any political candidates, the IRS would love to hear about it because that's wildly illegal and has been since 1954.

Any red state can turn blue if enough voters turn out.
Gerrymandering can be beat by numbers.
Toxic labor culture can be beat by planning ahead and knowing your rights for time off for voting.
Limited polling places can be beat by planning ahead and helping others with transportation.
Long lines can be beat by knowing your rights about when you get in line. Many states require polling places to stay open.
Accessibility barriers can be beat by early/mail-in voting.
Voter purges can be beat by checking your registration status.
Despair can be beat by enthusiasm.
If you don’t wanna stand in line forever or you’re busy on the 5th, remember in most states early voting is going on until the 1st, so you can get it done this week if you want!
Early voting can help defeat a lot of these. It allows much more flexibility. Not every state is the same, but mine has early voting locations open on the weekends AND you can go to any polling place in your county.
Also make sure to use your state's official website to double check your polling place, what you need to vote, and see a sample ballot!

So many people who get periods are like “Ugh it sucks that having a menstrual cycle makes you almost die every month” like no that’s not normal you need to go to the doctor
If any of your symptoms go beyond “just like, super annoying ugh whatever” levels you should probably go see a doctor about that
You should not feel so depressed you want to die, you should not be getting mood swings so bad that you become violent, your cramps should not be so bad that you can’t get out of bed, your period should not last more than a week, you should not be losing so much blood that you feel dizzy. Go to the doctor.

This is the exact sort of passive-aggressive Rich Old Man Grumpiness I can get behind
I think it's particularly notable in that this man basically set up a form of complaint that would only ever be seen if he was proven right. Masterful.
Whenever I think about the Twilight movies my mind instantly goes to the scene where Bella first steps out of her father's car holding a tiny cactus. And then I remember the parody movie they made of Twlight where the main girl steps out the car with a gigantic cactus.
