Experiment Idea

What if two people met up and traveled together or made plan’s, but agreed not to speak a single word to one another the entire time.

What if they listened to the same music at the same time while doing this? They could queue new songs whenever and whatever one person was listening to, it would be heard by the other.

I assume they’d just jam to random tunes in the background while doing stupid shit, but I wonder if with time they would create a language of sorts through the music.

Humans are meant to cooperate, one of our greatest abilities is to communicate and share ideas with one another.

So, I figure the two would eventually start queuing music to better communicate their current emotions (in addition to more physical touch to make up for the lack of speech).

Imagine someone looking you dead in the eyes while you both listen to something that describes their true feelings towards you.

Imagine laughing together, smiling together, crying together, loving together through pure mutual understanding. Without a single word.

Even if there was anyone around you, the only one listening would be that other person. You may be in the same place as others, but you two are in a world that is just your own.

A secret hidden in plain sight.

Idk, sounds like a fun experiment.

Do not use the website called Sci-Hub!

It lets people access scientific articles for free. This is dangerous. It helps the free flow of knowledge and reduces the competitive edge of all the people who worked really hard to have been born into a wealth.

Like, it’s literally a website where you can type in the DOI of an article and read it, without ever having to pay the publisher who exploited the author.

So, again, do not, under any circumstance, use Sci-Hub. I mean, can you imagine a world where knowledge is free and easily accessible to everyone? Even, y'know, poor people?

Libgen also has many books online, including textbooks, searchable by name, author, and ISBN. Can you imagine textbook companies not getting their hard-earned income from poor college students? Here is the link just so you make sure that you never accidentally stumble across this horrible, unethical website.

Oh, and while we’re talking about books, if you’ve managed to stay clear from Libgen, definitely don’t go to zlibrary, where you can also find a lot of textbooks, but unfortunately they’re completely free.
