A hungry gull fishing up a crab from the tide! There were several gulls along this beach feasting on big crabs they'd pulled from the surf, though I was only able to catch this one in the act of the hunt. The crab kept trying to pinch its face, so the gull had to repeatedly pick it up, carry it a bit, and drop it back into the water. After it got the crab far enough onto shore, the gull started hammering its beak into it in an attempt to access its tasty insides. Eventually, it broke through!
