HAPPY PRIDE!!
He's not your friend, you keep trying to kill him. He keeps trying to kill me. It's sort of our texting. We've been at it for ages.
But that’s not something you would understand, is it? You don’t like endings. DOCTOR WHO — Hell Bent (S09E12) directed by Rachel Talalay | written by Steven Moffat ››› Peter Capaldi as The Doctor ››› Maisie Williams as Ashildr / Me
clara!! (again)
Doctor Who Time Heist | 8.05
Clara's great because before her every companion since Rose was like "Being with the Doctor made me a better person", but Clara is like "Nah, it made me so much worse" while the Doctor stares at her affectionately.
greatest dynamic in the world IS strange, eccentric asshole and their normal and polite friend who on closer inspection is actually worse in deeply weird and unexpected ways
I know Kill the Moon doesn't rank highly with the fandom, but Clara's outburst at the end is one of my favourite scenes of the season. The whole situation really drives home that her and the Doctor's relationship is becoming deeply unhealthy and it's so damn interesting. The space abortion metaphor was awkward and weirdly handled, but Jenna Coleman's acting was just too phenomenal for me to dislike the episode.
i like to regularly pretend that they’re all fine
