there is something so uniquely terrifying to me as a disabled israeli about the outcomes antizionism is seeking. i cant spend more than a few hours away from my bed and it seems like 90% of the world... what? thinks i should have to emigrate? thinks i should just die? thinks i, as someone who is functionally a woman, who cannot work, who relies on israels social structure and medical system, should have to live under a palestinian government? any one of these is a genuine nightmare. like i have nightmares about it
and this international push for israel to be wiped off the map makes it. extremely hard for me to actually care when israel does something wrong. like yeah its a government it does wrong things. im sure there were issues with the war. but i do not care because what is being overwhelmingly presented to me as an alternative is literally just fucking dying

it genuinely melts my brain watching people take sith monologues at face value like they’re TED talks instead of… you know… villain speeches.

and yet people hear palpatine whispering into anakin’s ear like “the jedi are hiding things from you… they don’t trust you…” and go. wow. compelling. source: dude in a hood who has never told the truth once in his life.

of course he’s going to say that. what else is he supposed to do. sit anakin down and go “hi yes i am actively trying to emotionally isolate you from your support system so i can turn you into my apprentice and ruin your life” like be serious 😭
same with maul going “you’ve been indoctrinated by the jedi” as if HE wasn’t raised in a sith pipeline since childhood. sir. that is not a revelation.
and dooku. walking around like a philosophy professor going “the republic is corrupt” yeah okay, we know, and your solution is… fascism with extra lightning???
like yes. the jedi made mistakes. but, they’re an institution, not a divine being. but the leap from “the jedi aren’t perfect” to “the sith are telling the truth actually” is INSANE to me.
when i was a kid i decided that killing people was bad therefore war was bad therefore the military was evil. and adults would tell me it's more nuanced than that and i would understand when i grew up. well i'm a grown up now and idk i still think that killing people is bad and war is bad and the military is evil
so, sometimee, other militaries start a war with you
