Im almost done with the solid base of my worldbuilding for the fantasy lesbians! It was a rough start because I had no idea where to begin or how to do it, but now the ball is rolling it’s so much fun to just keep it going!

(Honestly, dangerously tempting to get carried away into thinking stuff that will never be mentioned during the plot, but fun!)

I’m now only missing minor details regarding economy and some political figures that will be relevant for the plot.

Can’t wait to finish with the first plot draft so I can start writing the fun part!

The Bagginshield Book Club server ( @bagginshieldbookclub) just hosted our second annual Midwinter Gift Exchange! This was an amazing event that sparked so many beautiful, creative works. If you're looking for great holiday entertainment this season, our theme was "Snowed In" and these projects absolutely delivered!

Perhaps Love by @shantismurf Winter in Erebor has set in quickly this year, one full year after the Battle of Five Armies, and word has reached the mountain of dangerous conditions in the passes of the Misty Mountains. Unfortunately, this coincides with the late departure of Kili, Tauriel, and Bilbo from the Shire, bringing Bilbo's most precious belongings back to the mountain where he plans to make his home. A rescue party sets out from Erebor, unsure if they can reach them in time, or what they might find when they do.

Snowswept by @shipper47 Due to a mix-up with the booking site, Bilbo and Thorin find themselves unexpectedly sharing a cabin. Things only get more complicated when they wake to find that they'll be spending more time together than they'd thought. At least their nephews are having the time of their lives. Or! They get snowed in!

A taste for you by @consultingpacha Six years before the Quest to recover Erebor, Bilbo meets Thorin at the Shire during a storm, and after that, a tentative friendship begins. But mother nature seems to have developed a taste for them, because that will not be the only time in which a weather's whim has them trapped together in close proximity…
