On weekends that Whitaker goes off to the farm, Trinity spends most of her free time out at parties and clubs with a medical go bag and a shit ton of narcan.

It let's her feel useful, keeps her from being alone in her apartment where her blades are, and it means she can keep up with the current party scene and trends so she knows what to expect while on shift.

She usually haunts outside of PTMC's range because she doesn't want to deal with her coworkers if she has to stay with a patient as their transported.

unfortunately i dont think its queerbaiting if the creator is just so terminally heterosexual that they never remotely considered the same gender relationship their show is centered around could be read as romantic. it is deeply painful however.

By definition you can't accidentally queerbait. Queerbaiting is specifically using a same sex pair from the show to market the show to queer audiences with no intention of ever following through on a romantic relationship.

There is officially licensed Destiel merch signed off on by Kripke. Teen Wolf had a commercial with the actors for Derek and Stiles draped over each other talking about being "on a ship." Both shows actively used scenes between them as marketing while actively mocking fans for wanting them together. Sherlock has multiple characters refer to Johnlock as a couple, including characters we're supposed to believe are never wrong about human behavior and pushed those scenes in marketing. Then they acted insulted when fans saw them as a couple.

That's queerbaiting.

Done on accident it would just be queer subtext. Done because they had no other choice due to censorship is queer coding.

The specific meaning of the word is really starting to get lost and it's a pretty important one to keep accurate. It describes a very specific phenomenon that was done repeatedly and maliciously for decades and is meant to examine that specifically.

Doing it on accident sucks, but it isn't a tactic of capitalism intentionally intended to suppress queer representation while making money from queer fans.

You get different sign language accents, you get regional accents, and you even get "second language speaker accent"

and it turned out that, because the movie is set in 1962, she's using era-appropriate signs. she's signing, essentially, with a "vintage accent." like a speaking actor (an actor who does speak onscreen, I mean; Sally Hawkins can speak IRL) adopting a trans-Atlantic accent

I met a girl who did a very good half of exam but didn't actually know the answer, so she wrote a full page (two sides), left half a sentence at the end of the page and wrote "Page 1 of 2" and submitted that. Because the teacher assumed it was her fault and that she had lost half of the exam, she gave her a passing grade hoping she wouldn't complain. And she didn't, of course.

In college, I forgot I had a paper (that I hadn't written a word of) due, until the teacher asked us to pass them forward at the start of the class... I had my computer though, and so I said I had forgotten the printed copy at home, could I please run to the computer lab after class and print it and bring it right over? He said sure, he could wait a few minutes since it was just downstairs. I don't have to look at my hands to type, so I wrote it in class while staring at the board like I was taking notes, and printed it off after. Got a B on it.
