Iplier Egos Head Cannon - What Song in "Encanto" Did They Get Emotional During?
Darkiplier
Surface Pressure
Deep down he really does care about his âbrothersâ
He thinks he needs to keep up the tough guy act to make them think he isnât afraid
He is
He REALLY is
Heâs worried about the space/time continuum, keeping order, and making sure the ipliersâ existence stays a secret
He tries not to let the others see the tears that involuntarily start to fall as Louisa sings about her struggles as the strongest sister
Wilford
He probably heard all of the songs before watching the movie
He wouldnât really cry for any of them in particular (feeling that he doesnât necessarily relate to any of them)
However
He would look at certain egos to watch their reactions during different songs
He would notice the small things that happen and slowly learn more about his âbrothersâ based on the musical numbers and their lyrics
After the movie, heâd probably go and visit the egos that had the worst reactions (who got the most emotional or those who would straight up leave the room)
He did get a little bothered listening to âDos Oruguitasâ though
He didnât get emotional per say
But watching Pedro die with the love song in the background kinda reminded him of when he lost Celine
Fortunately, he opted not to dwell on it too much
Actor
Waiting On A Miracle
This boy is INSECURE because of his breakup with Celine
Is he good enough?
Has he done enough?
Is he really worthy of anything?
He wants to be better
He wants his life to be better
But everything seems to slip through his fingers, coming back to resent him later on
He just wants someone to open their eyes and see that heâs worth their time, even if that person is Dark
Mirabel dancing on screen, singing about how she wished to be noticed as part of the family, made Actor tear up, wiping them away before someone could see them
Eventually, it got to be too much (especially seeing how Mirabel was pushed away by her family after trying to help them) and he left the room, using the excuse of getting more snacks
As soon as he entered the kitchen, he had a silent breakdown
Googleplier
Surface Pressure
I canât really hear Louisa sing âIâm pretty sure Iâm worthless if I canât be of serviceâ without thinking about Google and his first objective
Yes, his secondary objective is relatively important, but the first one is.. Well itâs his PRIMARY objective
If he canât do anything other than hurt people, then what is the point of him being there?
His optics widen and his mechanical heart speeds up
âHow do you feel?â survey pops up and he clicks on one
âIâm in this picture and I donât like itâ
Bingiplier
What Else Can I Do?
Heâs imperfect
Thatâs all I really need to say, but Iâll continue
Heâs always compared to Google and he knows deep down that heâs worth more than his search bar abilities
He doesnât want to be perfect like Google
He just wants to be himself, which is hard when everyone is always doting on him for every mistake he makes
Isabella creating spiky plants and beautiful flowers in front of him makes his optics widen and he slowly smiles, feeling an odd mixture of happiness and sadness as he watches her accept her imperfections in spite of her familyâs expectations
Dr. Iplier
He doesnât really get emotional during the songs
However
When itâs revealed that Bruno has been shunned by his family because of his gift, he smiled sadly
âHow unfortunate,â he thought, âfor someone to be abandoned because of something uncontrollable and never be spoken of again for fear of tabooâ
Heâs seen patients in the hospital who never have anyone visit them
He always feels sad when he finds out that someone has been abandoned
He secretly makes trips to animal shelters for that reason, to visit the abandoned animals and give them some love
He gets happy again when Bruno is reunited with his loved ones who welcome him back with open arms
YandereplierÂ
Dos Oruguitas
He wouldnât relate to any of the English songs enough to have a real reaction
He gets emotional during certain parts of the movie because he recognizes a lot of whatâs going on in the Madrigal family (Toxic family roles and stuff like that)
He feels bad for the characters (especially Mirabel and Bruno)
But when âDos Oruguitasâ starts playing and we find out the heartbreaking truth behind Abuelo Pedroâs death
WHOOOO BOY the tears start FLOWING
He hates to imagine the pain Abuela went through, losing the love of her life
Yandere, being a very romantic man, canât stand the thought of his own senpai leaving him
Like, sheâs everything to him!
Heâd become very protective of her after watching this movie, afraid of anyone taking her away from him
Heâs fine with the movie though, loves the music for the most part
Yancy
Friggin ALL OF THE SONGS
He loves music and finds each of them so amazing
He also kinda relates to each of the English sung songs in their own way (except âWe Donât Talk About Brunoâ)
WOAM: The want to be extraordinary and help others
SP: The need to be the tough one and look out for his fellow prisoners and weaker âbrothersâ
WECAD: The want to live life how he wants without being the picture perfect civilian that the world wants him to be
He thinks very highly of this movie and loves it to bits
He does eventually become frustrated with how often âWe Donât Talk About Brunoâ gets sung by people both online and in real life
Like, he gets that itâs a catchy song, but still, give it a break
Illinois
Waiting On A Miracle
Yes, Illinois is a special adventurous and flirtatious boyÂ
But not everything is really as it seems with him
His whole âEveryone falls in love with meâ act is a facade
Heâs trying to convince himself that heâs loved / cared about by someone
He took up adventuring to be different
To be a conversation starter
To be interesting so that somebody
ANYBODY
Would look his way and want to be around himÂ
After all..
He wasnât special or cool enough growing up to have many / any friends
He sees way too much of himself in Mirabel and ends up leaving the group for a few minutes to cry in the bathroom
Engineer Mark
Waiting On A Miracle
What else needs to be said?
If given pictures of Engineer and Mirabel everyone would say they were the same image
Insecure
Feels unwanted
Wants to be impressive and help those around him with his talents and ideas
Hides behind a false persona of happiness
THEY
ARE
THE
SAME
PERSON
Heâs close to leaving the room but stays put, activating his space helmet which is also soundproof so no one can see / hear him start to cry
Poor man canât hear âWaiting On A Miracleâ without having a breakdown

(Y/n)âs POV)
Looking around, everything was blurry and white. I couldnât understand where I was or what was happening. Sirens sounded from far away and blue and red colored lights started to appear in the distance. Concerned and muffled voices spoke outside of the white wall that obscured my vision.Â
I couldnât understand them, but I could tell they were just as afraid as I was, though I didnât know why.
Three blurry figures rose beside me, their voices concerned but inaudible to me. They turned to me, seemingly wondering what I thought of the situation. I didnât reply and only stared at them, wondering who they were. They were small childlike beings with no discernible traits other than different sizes of hair that blended in with their figures. From what I could somewhat see, I assumed there were two boys and one girl in this place with me.
The white wall suddenly opened, the sound of a zipper present as a new figure appeared in my sight. âWe need to go.â The figure spoke, her voice echoey and muffled. I was finally able to recognize her as female. She motioned for us to follow her, and we all got up and left the room, now revealed to be a tent. The blurry woman urged us forward and I struggled to keep up with her and the others.Â
I heard shouts behind us and I looked back in time to see a blinding light overwhelm my eyesight. I tripped over something in front of me and I was quickly grabbed by someone who ran behind me. Upon hearing my cry of alarm, the blurry woman halted, and her eyes widened, seemingly not knowing what to do. Then with a soft, âIâm sorryâ, she disappeared into the woods with the other three. I cried out for her with my own inaudible voice before I was quickly dragged backward, the light once again overtaking my vision.Â
I awoke with a start, a small yelp of alarm escaping my mouth. I was back in my room at Markâs house. I put a hand over my racing heart but was shocked to see it shaking. âA nightmare..â I thought, my breathing slowing down to an appropriate pace. âI canât accurately remember the last time I had one of those.âÂ
I heard footsteps coming down the hallway and my door opened to reveal a panicked Markiplier standing in the entrance. â(Y/n), are you okay? I heard you yell.â I blushed in embarrassment. âYeah, Iâm fine. I just.. had a nightmare, thatâs all.â Mark came closer and sat on the edge of my bed. âDo you want to talk about it, kiddo?âÂ
I looked at him, the dark circles under his eyes noticeable even in the dark room we were in. âIf Iâm being honest, Iâm not entirely sure what it was about, so talking about it probably wouldnât help. Sorry..â As I said this, I looked over at the clock. I frowned, realizing it read one in the morning.
Mark nodded, covering his mouth as he yawned, âAlright. Remember that Iâm here if you want to talk.â I nodded and he leaned over, giving me a warm hug. I returned the gesture after a moment of hesitation and he left the room, closing the door behind him.
I looked down again, the guilt of bothering him sending an uncomfortable chill down my spine. Mark had been so busy these past few days, and I felt awful that I just seemed to be another problem interrupting his work. That new interactive adventure he was working on, as exciting as the concept was, it took a toll on him, whether he acknowledged it or not. Laying down and closing my eyes once more, I prayed that there wouldnât be any more nightmares waiting for me in the dreamscape.
(Time skip a few weeks later)
There hadnât been any nightmares since that night, but the memory still remained. I tried not to let it bother me, but the unanswered questions in my mind were driving me nuts. Who were those other people? Why did the police show up? What grabbed me in the darkness? Why did the woman leave? Why did they look familiar? Unfortunately, I didnât have and could find the answers to any of these queries.Â
Mark, by this point, had finally finished the script for âIn Space With Markiplierâ and was able to focus on regaining a normal sleep schedule and making up for lost time with Chica and I. It was fun to see him outside of his office after such a long time, but even so, I felt bad about all the times I had interrupted him during the writing process of his big project. He probably wouldâve been out quicker if it wasnât for me.Â
I shook my head, trying to get those kinds of words out. âStop being so stupid, you donât know what would or wouldnât have happened so stop blaming yourself.â I thought, my eyes rolling in annoyance at the sheer (Y/n)-ness my thoughts had turned into for a second. Mark had told me before that he didnât mind taking small breaks, even if it was to check up on me. He had even said that if I hadnât woken up from the nightmare, he mightâve pulled an all-nighter and forgotten to sleep at all. It turns out that he had realized how tired he was and had gone to bed soon after making sure I was okay.
Chica walked over to me, her tail wagging happily as I gently scratched behind her floppy ear. âI know that you missed dad too, didnât you, Chica-Beeka? Arenât you glad heâs done writing that long video script?â I said in a goofy voice and as I knelt down, she started to lick my face in reply. âAck! No!! Stop!! Back you foul beast!!â Chica knocked me over as she continued her merciless assault. I played dead but instead of just stopping or finding Mark, she just plopped down on top of me with a tired huff.Â
Mark, who had just entered the room, got to witness this interaction and started laughing his butt off. âFATHER!!â I cried, my voice muffled from underneath the floof. âHELP ME!âÂ
âWhat?â
âHELP ME!â
âSorry, I canât understand you. What?â
âI said, help me!â
âStinky feet? You dare insult our dearest Chica by saying that she has stinky feet? For shame, (Y/n). For shame. As punishment you shall have to stay under your furry prison until it decides to move.âÂ
âTRAITOR!!!â
âFare thee well, daughter. I goeth to play the things known as âVideo Gamesâ.â Mark said dramatically and I managed to get my head out from underneath Chica, watching him start to leave the room. âBeeka? You want a treat?â The golden retriever stood up immediately and bounded off toward the kitchen. Mark looked back at me with a playful pout. âYouâre no fun.âÂ
âYouâre the one who left me to die.â I said with an equally playful yet sassy tone. âThatâs it, young lady, youâre in trouble now.â said my dad, who ran toward me as I tried to follow our dog. âNOOOOO!!!â He caught me in his arms and we tumbled to the floor as he started ferociously tickling me. I could hardly breathe as I laughed, and his own goofy laughter only added to the hilarity.Â
When Mark finally stopped, I started to catch my breath and I looked up at him, seeing his smiling face. âI am so glad I adopted you.â He murmured softly, helping me up and giving me a warm hug. Chica came back from the kitchen, curious about the commotion and bothered by her lack of treats. Upon seeing the family cuddles, she jumped in between us, wagging her tail and effectively hitting Mark and I in the face a bunch of times.Â
âAgh no! Sheâs too good! Chica! Youâre too good!â Mark cried out, coughing to get rid of the stray dog hairs that had invaded his mouth. I had begun laughing again, my mind blissfully distracted for a bit as I watched Chica begin her lick assault on my father. Quickly getting up from my position on the floor, I entered the kitchen and retrieved a dog treat. Chica, upon hearing the container open, came running to receive the long awaited goods.Â
Mark followed a few seconds after, first looking over at his dog munching away at the treat then at the stove top clock. âAhh that was fun. Too bad Itâs getting late. You ought to get to bed.â He commented, shifting his gaze back over to me. I nodded, recognizing that he was right. He gave me a hug and a pat on the back. âSleep well, kiddo. Youâve got a big day tomorrow.â With that, I retired to my room.Â
- Start of Dream -
I once again opened my eyes to a blurry scene. It was slightly dark, but I could make out some shapes nearby. They were the same figures from before! They were gathered around what looked like a table, with me at the head. I heard two voices coming closer, singing a familiar tune. I looked over to see a slightly blurry cake with what looked like five candles being brought in by the two blurry adults.Â
âHappy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday, Dear (Y/n)! Happy Birthday to you!â They all sang, placing the cake in front of me. I had begun to smile, their faces becoming a bit clearer once I blew out the candles and some lights flipped on. The woman had black hair and pretty (e/c), the same eye color as mine. The man had tanish-gray hair and looked a bit older than the woman. He had bluish-gray eyes.
The younger figures were a bit closer so I looked at them next. The tallest looked to potentially be the oldest with dark brown hair and brown eyes. The second tallest had strawberry blonde hair and had a lot of freckles. His eyes were the same color as the womanâs. The last of the figures was quite a few inches smaller than the previous one. He had tanish-brown hair and the manâs blue-gray eyes which seemed to have a glow of mischief in them. But before I could fully process their faces, a loud noise sounded and I woke up.Â
- End of Dream -
I looked around my room, wondering what the cause of the disturbance was. Looking over toward my dresser, I noticed that a picture frame that had admittedly been in an unstable position had fallen over, thus making the loud noise. With an annoyed sigh, I looked over at my alarm clock, checking the time. â12:04 AM.â I thought, turning away from the device and closing my eyes.
âHappy Birthday to me..â
- timeskip -Â
It was in fact a big day and I had a blast. Mark, Amy, Ethan, Tyler, and I went to an amusement park and went to my favorite restaurant for dinner. When we got home, Mark and Amy surprised me with a delicious looking cake with the number 15 on it via two big number candles. They sang so nicely and I watched the flames on the candles burn. As they finished the song, I hesitantly blew out the candles as my vision suddenly went blurry. Mark placed a hand on my shoulder.
âHey, are you okay? Why are you crying? Do you not like it?âÂ
Tears? Is that what was obscuring my vision? I wiped them away but more kept coming. âI donât understand.. Iâm so happy, so why am I crying?âÂ
The Happy Birthday song rang in my ears, the voices of the people in my dream singing along. I let out a small laugh. How silly of me to get so emotional over a little thing like this. âThank you both so much for this. I canât even begin to tell you how much it means to me.â I didnât lie. I didnât know how to tell them, and I didnât even understand why.
Mark and Amy gave me a big hug and I relished in the affection. I donât know if they knew this, but it was exactly what I needed at that moment. I already saw Amy as my mother-figure and Mark was my dad, so in that moment it was like we were a real family. âI love you guys..â I murmured softly and they smiled, Amy wiping away one of my stray tears. âWe love you too.âÂ
Later that night, Amy had gone home and Mark came to check up on me when I was already in bed. âHey, kiddo. I just wanted to make sure youâre okay.â I nodded and smiled at him, sitting up in bed. âYeah, Iâm fine.â He frowned slightly. âAre you sure? I mean, itâs not that I donât believe you, itâs just that Iâm a bit worried because you started crying earlier.â I realized what was bothering him and I climbed out of bed and quickly hugged him.Â
âDad! I promise Iâm okay! I just got a bit emotional. Thatâs all.â Mark nodded and hugged me back. âD-do you want to talk about it?â I frowned a little and I looked down, but knew that it might help to talk it out. It usually does. âI.. have been having dreams lately..â Mark led me to my bed and sat next to me. âWhat are they about?âÂ
âI keep dreaming of some family I donât think Iâve ever met before..â Markâs eyes widened slightly and he looked at me. His eyes looked a bit worried though his face looked curious. âWhat.. What do you dream about them?â I frowned and looked down. âThe first time, it was them being chased down by the police and I got taken away from them.. The next time, this morning actually, they were celebrating my birthday and singing to me. I donât know if thatâs why I got emotional when you and Amy sang, but.. Itâs what happened..â
Mark hugged me close and I could hear his heartbeat. It was faster than normal. âIâm so sorry. Do these dreams bother you at all?â I nodded slightly. âA little bit.. I donât remember these people at all, but they feel so familiar to me. I donât know how to feel when I have one of these dreams.â Mark gently rubbed my back and his voice was slightly hesitant as he spoke. âIs it possible.. Um.. is it possible these dreams arenât actually dreams?â
I looked up at him, âWhat?â Mark looked away, almost seeming nervous. âIâve read, and have heard, that sometimes dreams can actually be suppressed memories.. So.. that family..â My eyes widened, âThey might be, like, my biological family?â Mark nodded, but his eyes looked sad. âYeah.â He looked at me again. âDo you remember anything before you were put in the orphanage? Any people or events?â I shook my head. âNo.. I donât really remember much if anything from before my time as an orphan. I donât even know how I got there.âÂ
Mark nodded and took a deep breath. âIf.. if it wouldnât bother you, could you tell me about that first dream of yours? The one about the police?â I frowned and looked away and he panicked. âItâs okay if you donât want to! I donât want to force you into anything!â I shook my head and smiled at him reassuringly. âNo no! Itâs not that. I do want to tell you, itâs just that.. It was a weird dream and Iâm still processing this theory of ours.âÂ
Mark nodded and I took a deep breath before starting to talk again. âWe were in a forest. It was night time and I assume we were in a tent. There were three other kids in the tent with me. Red and Blue lights came and all of us kids were forced to run into the woods with a woman. I tripped and the woman left me behind, taking the other three with her while I was suddenly dragged backwards. Thatâs when I woke up.â
Mark was silent for a minute as he processed the information I had given him. He then frowned. âI think, if that was actually a memory of yours, that was how you were taken away from your parents. I suspect thatâs also why you start panicking when you think youâve been left behind. You were traumatized by that woman, your mother, abandoning you when you were younger.â I blinked. He was right. There was no other real explanation for my fear that made sense for me. I looked at Mark. âBut then why did she abandon me? I assume the red and blue lights were police lights, but if that was the case, why did she run? Was she a criminal or something?âÂ
Both of us said nothing before he spoke up. âI.. donât have a solid answer for you. Iâd hate to think that was the real reason police would show up to a campsite like that, but.. Itâs a possibility.â I sighed softly but then smiled at him. âWell then, I guess I got an upgrade parental wise.â Mark couldnât help but smile and he hugged me. âI love you, kiddo.âÂ
âI love you too.â I murmured, hugging him back with a smile. Mark looked at the clock and sighed. âAlright. As much as I love talking to you, itâs gotten a bit late and I donât know about you, but Iâm a bit tired from all the fun we had today.â Right on cue, I yawned and Mark laughed. âI knew it!â I couldnât help but giggle when he said that. âAlright.. Do you feel better now?âÂ
I nodded and he gave my hand three squeezes. I Love You.
I squeezed back four times. I Love You Too.
Smiling, he got up off of the bed. âAlright then. Have a good night. Sleep well, (Y/n).â I smiled up at him. âYou too, dad.â She smiled and nodded, walking out of the room with a final look back, speaking once more before leaving. âHappy Birthday.â When he was finally gone I frowned and looked down. The conversation we just had weighed slightly on my mind. What Mark said made sense, but it was a little difficult for me to wrap my head around. The logic was there, but I wanted more answers. I didnât want âwhat ifsâ, Iâd prefer to have the entire story.Â
But I couldnât.
I didnât know where my biological family was. I didnât know why they left nor why the police were there. It shouldnât concern me as much as it was, but I understood that maybe there were some things that would have to remain unknown. With a sigh, I tucked myself in and closed my eyes, falling into a dreamless sleep.
(timeskip)
It had been three months since my birthday, and that was the last time I had one of those dreams. Life had been very good, and the concepts Mark and I talked about that night didnât really bother me anymore. Right now, I was laughing with him about the stupidity that ensued during his latest charity live-stream. He and the other guys had made a ton of meals that were to be donated to a charity food pantry. We were there now, dropping it off.Â
âI got so worried when Ethan almost dropped that whole bowl of dough, but did you see the way it flipped??â I laughed as Mark recounted a hilarious moment when Ethan ended up flipping a bowl of pasta dough and catching it after he almost dropped it to the floor. âI know right? The chat was going crazy!â We continued talking as we finished placing the food in the pantry and my laughter died down as I looked to my side and I spotted a man and a woman receiving some food from the pantry workers.
No.. It couldnât be. Could it?
It was them, albeit a bit older, but Iâd recognize them anywhere. They were the man and woman from my dream memories. Mark noticed my distractedness and followed my gaze, his eyes found the man and woman and he looked back at me. âDo you know them?â I frowned but didnât take my eyes off of them. âFrom my dream.. Itâs them.â Markâs eyes widened and he looked back at the man and woman.Â
The woman suddenly looked in our direction and her eyes widened. I nervously looked away, fearing that I had creeped her out. Mark asked if I wanted to talk to her and I wasnât sure what to say. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder and when I looked in itâs direction, I saw the woman. âExcuse me,â she spoke, her voice tender and gentle, as if talking to a child, which in a way, she was. âWhatâs your name?âÂ
I took a shaky breath and looked toward Mark who just nodded and looked away. He wouldnât look at me. âIâm.. My name is (Y/n). Whatâs yours?â The womanâs eyes widened again and they began to brim with tears. âItâs you.. Itâs really you, isnât it?â I felt myself getting emotional as well, but tried to hide it. âDo I know you? I feel as though I do, but Iâm not entirely sure.âÂ
â(F/n), come here! Sheâs here! Weâve found our (Y/n)!â The man came over and his eyes widened. âMy dear, are you sure?â I looked back over at Mark to see him busy himself on his phone, his foot tapping against the ground slightly. I didnât know what to do. âIâve been having dreams.. About you two and three other kids. Or at least, people who looked like you.â The man and woman smiled kindly. âYour brothers and sister. Yes.. they are real.â
I looked down, not sure where to begin. The woman, my mother, moved to hug me but I instinctively took a step back. âH-hold on a second. Then if those dreams were actually memories, then I have questions that need answered.â The woman stopped and the man put his arm around her, nodding. I took a deep breath and began.
âI-In the forest.. We were in a tent, and the police showed up. Why? Are you two..â I trailed off for a moment, worried about continuing this train of thought. âCriminals?â My father looked away and frowned and my mother shook her head. âNo. We werenât⊠not really.â She trailed off looking a bit guilty. âThen why were the police showing up at the campsite?â
âWe were.. Behind on a lot of payments and we had already gotten a notice.. We struggled to get enough money to pay our debt off, but it wasnât enough and the IRS sent the police after us. They were sent to bring you and your siblings to the orphanage that you no doubt were sent to after you were taken.â My father spoke up and I frowned. âWhich brings up another question. Why was I the only one left behind to be taken away?âÂ
My mother looked incredibly sad as she voiced the reason. âYou tripped and fell. If I stopped to pick you up, then your brothers and sister would be taken too. I couldnât risk it so, regretfully, I had to leave you behind. I didnât want to, I promise you that. My heart broke when the officer caught you and I was forced to run.â My eyes filled with tears and I nodded in understanding. As much as it hurt to know the truth that I had to be âsacrificedâ for the good of the majority, I also was glad it happened. After all, if I wasnât taken away, I likely wouldnât have met Mark.
âAs much as I hate that it happened that way, mainly because it gave me some.. issues, Iâm happy to know the full story. Iâm glad I finally got to meet you two.â The smiles that graced their faces brought an amazing amount of joy to my heart and I couldnât help but smile back. I didnât lie either. I really was happy to meet my biological parents. Then their next words made my smile vanish and my heart nearly stop.Â
âDo you.. Want to live with us again?â My eyes went wide. âW-what?â My father spoke up. âWeâre better off now. Weâre not the most wealthy people out there, but weâre able to stand on our own two feet so thatâs good enough. We can finally support our family and weâd like you to join us.â My head was spinning with the force of this question. They looked so hopeful that I would say yes. I looked back at Mark, wondering how he was reacting to this. He was still on his phone, but I could see that something was wrong with him.Â
He was upset, but was trying not to show it.
I turned back to my parents and spoke up. âListen.. You both are so sweet and Iâm happy to have met you, but..â I looked away, trailing off. My mother looked a little upset by my answer but smiled in understanding. âThat man over there.. Heâs your guardian, isnât he?â She guessed correctly and I smiled a little, nodding. âI only just met you two.. I canât just abandon him for people who are essentially strangers to me.â I could hear a slight gasp from behind me and I knew that Mark heard me. âBut hey,â I continued, taking out my phone. âLetâs keep in touch.â
That brought a smile to my motherâs face and we exchanged numbers. âIâll see you both around, right?â They nodded and upon seeing their anxious looks, I gave them both hugs. âUntil we meet again.â I murmured, smiling at them before turning and quickly going to Markâs side. âAre you ready to go?â He nodded and as we started walking back to the car, he spoke up again.Â
âAre.. are you sure about your decision? I mean, theyâre your real family.â His eyes were slightly filled with tears as I looked at him and I wrapped my arm around his torso in a side hug, smiling up at him. âWhat are you talking about? Yeah, they were my first family, but youâre my new family. You saved me from the orphanage and you helped me overcome a lot of my social anxieties. Do you hear me right now? I donât stutter now. I can talk to people normally, and thatâs thanks to you. Youâre my dad, Mark, and I love you.âÂ
Mark couldnât stop the tears from falling as he hugged me and I hugged him back. âI love you too.. So much.. Is it selfish to say that I was scared that you would go with them?â I shook my head and grinned at him. âNo, not at all. But you donât need to worry anymore.â I gently squeezed his hand three times. âIâm right here.â Mark smiles, tears rolling down his cheeks as I led him to the car, both of us finally ready to go home, together.
âDad! The doll is right there! What are you doing??â Laughed (Y/n) as her father almost left his hiding space. âI have to get the mold thing up there!â He exclaimed, moving Rose out from beneath the table and trying to run passed the enemy. His attempt was unsuccessful as it started laughing like a maniac and he started losing HP. âI tried to tell you earlier, thereâs another way there, you just have to go the other way!âÂ
âAgh, dang it. Fine, weâll do it your way.â Mark grumbled as he moved Rose away. Chaos ensued as after he got around the doll, the giant mannequin burst through the door. âAGH NO!!!â Cried the older YouTuber as he had the girl hide under a table.
(Y/n) was laughing, Mark jokingly telling her to be quiet. She only shook her head and decided to look at chat. There were a few people commenting how Rose reminded them a bit of (Y/n). The girl was confused but opted to ignore them, turning back to watch the game.Â
Mark finally got out of the room, shouting at the dolls to stop their insulting yammering, and looked over at his daughter. âYou okay?â She nodded her head, smiling reassuringly at him. âYup, Iâm fine, just thinking about something. Oh look! Michaelâs back!â Indeed he was, writing glowing, worried words on the wall for Rose to read.Â
As they walked through the house of memories, the two players started to put pieces together. âOkay, Iâm pretty sure at this point that Michael is actually Ethan.â Commented Mark and (Y/n) nodded again. âI would be shocked if he wasnât.â After defeating the crazy ghost girl, they fell even deeper into the world after being pushed away from harm by a male figure.Â
Both father and daughter were shaking with excitement and the girl pointed at the screen. âTHATâS ETHAN!! WE CALLED IT!! THATâS ETHAN!!â Mark, after calming down a bit, made his way through the familiar territory, (Y/n) once again looked at the chat. She frowned as there were multiple comments saying similar things to the previous one, but with a little more added on.Â
âCraZGurl: Awww Mark and (Y/n) are so cute around each other! Their bond is like Rose and Ethanâs relationship!âÂ
âMuddBoi: @CraZGurl FR! They do give off those vibes, don't they?âÂ
âMyMain6Channel: Itâs like watching real life versions of Rose and Ethan! <3â
âBuddiBuddy: Adorable (OwO)â
(Y/n) wondered what made them think that and spoke up. âChat, as flattering as it is that you think Dad and I act cute around each other, I can guarantee that we arenât like Rose and her dad in the game so stop saying that.â Mark didnât really understand what she was talking about, but decided to keep quiet.Â
As the coded father and daughter ran through a mold infested cavern and away from the final boss, the comments continued to grow with the same relative message. However, these words fell upon distracted ears as the real life duo were off in their own little worlds. Markâs mind was in auto pilot during the big fight and he just let his mind wonder.Â
âWhat would my life have been like if I never had a daughter?â
(Y/n) pointed out small details and provided some help while a question of her own floated around in her head. âWhat would my life be like if Dad just disappeared from my life? What if my story really was like Roseâs? Dad has been to the hospital many times for things, but what if something finally killed him? What would happen to me?â She shook her head. âNo, you idiot, donât think that way. Heâs tough, and even if something did happen to him, his friends have always been willing to help him out so Iâd be fine.â
Mark and (Y/n) both watched as Miranda was defeated, and Rose held her dying father. It was a very emotional moment, and both Fischbachs were sad. âIâm so very proud of you. I love you, Rose.â spoke Ethan and (Y/n) felt her own dadâs arm wrap around her, bringing her closer into a partial hug.Â
âI love you too, dad.â
(Y/n) subconsciously read those words out loud, her voice barely a whisper as the screen faded to white. She looked over to her right to see her dad was looking at her with a smile. He hugged her tight, and while sharing that moment with him, she looked over once again at the comment stream. With a sigh, she spoke loud enough to be heard while her face was basically pressed against Markâs chest.Â
âDonât say that chat. I donât want to think about losing my dad.â Mark, hearing this, looked over and read the messages. So thatâs what she had been thinking about. He gave his daughter a protective squeeze and glared goofily at the camera. âYeah, guys. As you can see Iâm perfectly fine. Unless Iâm not and Iâm a ghost. Oooooohhhhh~â He rebukingly teased before tickling (Y/n) and smiling when she burst into laughter.
Mark knew that if something happened to him, his friends or his mom would take care of his daughter. Yes, his body was a little messed up at times, but it had been a while since anything major happened, so he wasnât too worried about it. For the time being however, while he was still relatively healthy, heâd happily spend as much time with his little girl as possible.Â
As the final cut scene played through and the credits rolled, the two Fischbachs talked about their favorite parts of the game. âI think there were a few aspects I wouldâve liked to have been included in, but overall it was a good game.â Said Mark with a shrug and (Y/n) laughed.
âYeah, youâre just disappointed that Big Waifu Lady Dimitrescu didnât make an appearance and instead we were stuck with Smelly Mold Lady Miranda.â He playfully shoved her which made her giggle. âHow dare you make such bold claims! I feel rather insulted!âÂ
The previous comments had been almost forgotten as the father and daughter messed around both on and then off stream. They managed to score a good story for themselves in the real world, unlike their compared counterparts in the game, and that made them happy. Sure, worried thoughts lingered in the back of their minds, but at that moment, they didnât matter. Mark and (Y/n) were a happy family, and to them that was all they could really ask for.
I know it's a bit far fetched, but what if "The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse" actually takes place in the Land of Forgotten Tunes?
[It's just a theory (A game/film theory) but have fun reading]
Okay, so in the Disney Games "Epic Mickey" and "Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two", we see quite a few characters that aren't supposed to be in the normal world. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Clara-bell Cow, Horace Horse Collar, and a few others can be seen walking the streets of "TWWOMM" but they make their own more memorable appearances in the Land of Forgetten Tunes as characters who were replaced and forgotten (no longer having hearts of their own).
Oswald specifically was the original Mickey Mouse who's idea was stolen by one of Walt Disney's co-workers, but fortunately for Mr. Disney, he came up with the concept for our lovable Mouse and Oswald was quickly forgotten. He is a partial antagonist/protagonist in "Epic Mickey 1" and then is featured as a playable main character in "Epic Mickey 2". Recently, he showed up a few times in "TWWOMM" as a random cameo to some of Mickey Mouse's adventures.
The main issue is that Oswald, due to not having a heart, is unable to join his "brother", Mickey, in the real world. This means that Oswald never left his home with the other forgotten tunes, but if that's the case, then how is he joining Mickey and his friends out in the real world? It's impossible... unless Mickey and his friends are in the Land of Forgotten Tunes with him.
My (and my brother's) theory is that "The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse" takes place years in Disney's future when Mickey Mouse and his friends get boring to their audience and are replaced by new characters. They are forgotten, landing them in their new home along side the other old tunes. This way, they can play together forever along side the characters of Disney's past.

(Markâs POV)
I laughed with my friends as we finished up a collaboration video of Prop Hunt. âI canât believe you didnât see me!â SeĂĄn playfully yelled at Wade as he groaned in frustration. The Irishman had been disguised as a coaster and had hidden himself behind a door, making him virtually invisible even with the automated taunts the game provided. Bob was howling with laughter as he too had failed to spot him even when he was in the same room.
I cut my video off and logged off the game, staying in the discord video call as I did so. âAhhh guys, that was so much fun.â I sighed, leaning back in my chair. The others began chatting amongst themselves about the different rounds and I looked back as there was a knock at the door and it began to open, revealing a teenage girl, carrying a plate of food. The moment she realized I was on a video call, she slightly closed the door and waited for a signal.
âItâs okay, Iâm not recording.â I told her and in a small, shaky voice she replied. âI made s-some lunch and you didnât come down a-and then it got late so I made some more for you. S-sorry for interrupting your conversation.âÂ
âOh, thank you! I didnât even realize the time.â I said, walking over and taking the delivery as she presented it. She never entered my room when I was on call as she was rather camera shy, but that didnât really bother me. I gave her a partial hug and then, telling her Iâd be downstairs soon, I walked back over to my desk and once again put on my headphones. âWho was that?â Asked Wade, who had apparently witnessed the interaction.Â
âOh, that was (Y/n).â I said, looking up at the screen from where I was about to take a bite of food. âWho?â asked Bob and SeĂĄn, and then it was my turn to be confused. âI swear I told you guys about her. Did I seriously forget?âÂ
âYes! Who is she?â The three said and I placed a hand over my face, feeling stupid. âI really thought I told you guys. So.. um.. Sheâs kind of my adopted daughter.âÂ
âNo way!â Exclaimed SeĂĄn in shock. âYouâre seriously a dad now?â I laughed softly, rubbing the back of my neck. âYeah. I didnât post about it on social media because I wasnât even sure at first if I was going to find the right kid. I guess I just forgot about it after I adopted her.âÂ
âYou couldâve at least texted us about it.â Commented Bob who crossed his arms as I took a bite of food. âThis is a pretty big deal, Mark. Does Amy know?âÂ
âI was going to!â I said after swallowing. âI just forgot, and yes, Amy does know. I asked her how she felt about the idea before I went through with it.â Just then, someone new entered the chat. âHey guys!â I recognized that higher pitched voice as I ate some more of my meal. âHi Ethan!â Said Wade with a smile. âDid you know that Mark has a kid?âÂ
âWHAT??â The younger male exclaimed which nearly burst my eardrums. âMark, you never told me this! I thought we were friends!â He cried and I rolled my eyes dramatically. âOh my gosh, you guys! I made one mistake and now my butt is being handed to me on a silver platter. Whatâs next, Tyler is gonna hop on and give me crap too?â And just like that, as if he had heard me, Tyler joined the group chat.
âWow, is there a party going on here?â he said with a chuckle and before I could say anything, Ethan blurted out a loud, âMARK IS A DAD!â I watched Tylerâs face, which had just appeared in video form, contort into one of absolute shock. âIâm sorry, WHAT?!â I took another bite of food, letting out an exhale of frustration at how much the situation climaxed. âWhy wasnât I informed of this?â He demanded and SeĂĄn yelled out, âThatâs what weâve been saying!âÂ
âYou know, instead of giving me all this backlash about an honest mistake, I could just tell you what happened.â I said, wiping my mouth with a napkin and putting my dishes to the side. âIâve got time.â Said Bob, checking his watch. âIâve got nothing planned for the rest of the day.â Joined SeĂĄn, leaning forward in his chair and staring at the camera expectantly, like a little child waiting impatiently for a cookie. Wade, Tyler, and Ethan also agreed and I sighed again, getting more comfortable in my chair.Â
âFine. You want to hear the story, then Iâll tell the story.âÂ
(Flashback: Markâs POV)
I had been thinking about adopting a child for quite a while. For what reason, I donât really know. All I knew is that I wanted to have a kid. I already ran the idea by Amy and she also thought it was a good idea. I decided to look for either a boy or a girl, but not one too young that Iâd have to take care of them 24/7. I didnât feel ready for that kind of job, and honestly, I still donât feel that way now.Â
I started looking around the area for orphanages that had open houses soon. I came across a few and did end up going to some of them. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed by a lot of people I met. Donât get me wrong, they were somewhat nice kids, but for one reason or another they werenât what I was looking for.
I got to this one place, the âLos Angeles Sunnyside Orphanageâ, and when I entered I could tell it might produce good results. Yes, there were some parts that could use some fixing up, but it seemed a lot friendlier than some of the other orphanages I had visited. So, naturally, I felt pretty good about my chances there.
When I walked around, there were a lot of kids running around and playing. I wasnât sure who exactly to try and meet so I went to the orphanage director and started some interviews with the older kids. I think the age range I covered was twelve to sixteen, but I still wasnât sure about any of them. At that point, my mind was starting to tell me I was being picky and that any of the kids would do just fine, but then I saw this girl on the other side of the room.Â
She was drawing, seeming to be focused on the picture rather than the other children. I knew I hadnât spoken with her yet, because I didnât recognize her, so I turned to the orphanage director curiously and pointed at the girl in question. âWho is she? Why isnât she playing with the others?â
âHer?â The director responded, adjusting his glasses and peering at the girl. âAh, thatâs (Y/n). She doesnât really get along with the other children.â I frowned, âIs she a bad kid?â
âNo, sheâs just incredibly shy and I wouldnât be surprised if she has social anxiety. Not that Iâm trying to give her a diagnosis, itâs just my uneducated opinion.â
âHow old is she?â I asked and the director hummed softly, scratching his head as he thought. âI believe sheâs 14 years old.â She was within my age range so I decided to at least give her a chance. âWould I be able to get an interview with her?â
The director nodded and signaled for me to stay where I was while he got her. I watched as he got (Y/n)âs attention and gently told her that I wanted to meet her. She looked over at me and her eyes seemed to widen. As the two of them walked over to me, I noticed that she was shaking, looking down at the floor, refusing to make eye contact with me. The two of us were escorted into a much quieter room to talk and I smiled kindly at her when she sat down across from me.Â
âHi there, (Y/n). How are you today?â She looked so nervous as she quietly murmured, âIâm alright. How are you?â This was progress. âIâm doing well, thanks for asking.â She nodded, looking up at me for a second before once again lowering her gaze. âI donât bite, I promise.â I joked and a ghost of a smile formed on her lips.Â
Looking down, there were some papers on the table between us that were filled with questions. (Y/n)âs hand twitched a bit, looking like she was going to reach for them but was also hesitating. âDo you need to ask me anything?â I queried and she nodded, finally taking the papers. âS-sorry. I promise that Iâve done this before, but.. Iâm just nervous.â she said softly and I nodded in understanding. âHey, take your time. Itâs okay to be nervous. You donât know me and weâre stuck in a room together. Iâd be nervous too if I were in your position.â She let out a small chuckle which made me smile.
âWhatâs your name?â She read, and I answered. âMark Fischbach.â She paused for a second, seemingly thinking about something before continuing. âW-what do you do for a living and do you enjoy your job?âÂ
âAs silly as it sounds, I make videos on YouTube for people to watch. Itâs my dream job and I love it a lot.â (Y/n) looked over at me, her eyes shining with an excitement I hadnât seen before. âI donât think thatâs silly at all.â She said, âHonestly, it sounds like fun.â I smiled at her, âIt is, for the most part.â She shifted in her seat before continuing the interview.
The longer the two of us spent time together, even just lightly chatting, the more comfortable she seemed to be. We got along, and while she did pause sometimes to take a breath and calm down her nerves, I wasnât bothered by her at all. When all the questions were finished, I waved goodbye and met with the director again. I told him that I was going to keep looking, but that I might come back.Â
I knew that (Y/n) and I got along well, once she got to know me a bit more, but I wasnât quite sure if she was what I was looking for. I never really stopped thinking about her though, and after a few more days I decided that I was going to adopt her. I came back, told the director my plan, and he set me up for a house inspection the next day. After I was cleared, I brought the paperwork in, made the payment, and waited for her to come down with her stuff.
I saw that she was nervous when she brought down her bag, but she calmed down a little bit when she saw me. âReady to go home?â She nodded and when the two of us left, I honestly felt pretty good about my decision. The drive back to my house was kinda awkward, but I guess that was to be expected.Â
When we arrived, I introduced her to Chica and got her settled into her new room. We spent that night learning a bit more about each other, and the next few days had similar themes. It was difficult, getting used to someone new in my house, but it was okay.Â
I taught her how to play some different video games and was really surprised at how quickly she was able to pick some of them up. She was still a tad bit nervous when it came to getting really close to me, but by the end of the first month, she was smiling almost all the time and had little to no issues with physical contact.
After I introduced her to Amy, and found out that the two of them had actually begun to bond rather quickly, everything seemed like it was falling perfectly into place until something happened.
I was laughing with (Y/n) about my newest playthrough of a really hard game. I had lost my mind over it and when I said, âItâs the ragiest game Iâve ever played and Iâm never going back to it!â She responded with âI thought âI Am Breadâ was the ragiest game youâve ever played.â I froze and the room went silent. Looking over at (Y/n)âs face, she had turned pale white.
âHow did you know that Iâve played that game? I never gave you the name of my channel so you shouldnât know that.. unless you started watching or already knew.â She began to fidget and she looked down in what looked like shame. âI-Iâm sorry. I shouldâve told you by now, but I was scared about how youâd react.â
âTell me what? Iâm not upset that youâve seen my videos, but why would you hide it?â
âBecause I already knew who you were before we met. I.. I didnât want to tell you during the interview because I didnât want to make you uncomfortable or scare you off. You were so nice and I didnât think youâd want a kid who was a fan.âÂ
I stayed silent as she continued. âI promise that Iâm not one of those over-the-top and crazy fangirls. Yes, I was happy and shocked to see you, but thatâs because I never expected this to happen. I mean, youâre Markiplier. I donât think anyone would be expecting you to suddenly adopt a kid, least of all an anxious and socially awkward girl like me. Honestly, it sounds like something out of a fanfiction rather than something that would happen in real life, but thatâs exactly what happened. Iâm really, really sorry, Mark.â
I smiled softly and walked over to her, giving her a gentle hug. âI know that you arenât like those fangirls. Youâve definitely shown that during your time here. And while Iâm a little hurt you didnât tell me about this, I can understand why you hid it. I probably wouldâve done the same if I was in your position. You donât have to worry about it anymore. If anything, this means I can joke about a lot more stuff because you might understand them. Just promise me that you wonât hide stuff like this from me anymore, alright kiddo?âÂ
Her eyes welled with tears and she hugged me back. âI promise.â When we both let go, I laughed softly, wiping away some tears that had started falling down my cheeks. âWhoo! Alright, thatâs enough sentimental stuff for one day. Do you want to order pizza and have a movie night?âÂ
âThat sounds like fun!â She said, giggling as she also wiped away some tears on her own face. âThanks for not hating me after I told you the truth. I love you, Dad.â My eyes widened in shock as the name she gave me finally registered. âGosh dang it, (Y/n)! Youâre gonna make me cry again!â She laughed and gave me another hug before running off to the living room.
That was the first time she ever called me Dad.Â
(End of flashback)
âShe kept her promise too. She and I have gotten so close that youâd swear sheâs a mini female version of me.â I said, leaning back in my chair. âWow..â said Wade after the others remained in silence. âShe sounds like so much fun to be around!â added SeĂĄn with a smile and Ethan nodded. âCould we meet her?âÂ
I hummed softly and thought about it. âAs much as Iâd like that, sheâs really shy around new people. Iâm not sure how sheâll be with you guys. Then again, she knows who you all are and she got comfortable around Amy soon after they met, so maybe it wonât be too bad. Iâll run the idea by her.âÂ
I looked toward the clock and my eyes widened. âOh shoot! Itâs almost been half an hour since we finished the video!â The others looked at their own clocks in surprise. âOh dang. Time flies during story time, huh?â Laughed Wade and we all agreed in amusement. âIâd better get going. Iâll text you guys about her answer, I promise.âÂ
âYouâd better remember this time!â Joked SeĂĄn as he waved at the camera. I logged off of discord, stretched, and walked downstairs with my dishes. âSorry I took so long. The guys wanted to talk.â (Y/n) was on her phone in the dining room and she looked up and smiled at me. âItâs okay! You sounded like you had fun.â I nodded, sitting down in a chair next to her. âSo, uhm. I have a question for you.â
She watched me expectantly and I took a deep breath before continuing. âSo, the others want to meet you.â As I said that, her eyes widened and she visibly tensed. âI know that meeting people isnât your forte, but I really think youâll like them.â After a few seconds of silence, she responded. âW-who all are you talking about?âÂ
âBob, Wade, Tyler, Ethan, and SeĂĄn. They want to meet you. I mean, you are part of the family now, so Iâm not really surprised.â (Y/n) looked away, seeming to be in thought. âIâm a little shocked that youâre only telling me this now.â It was my turn to look away as my cheeks heated up in embarrassment. âI.. may or may not have forgotten to tell them back when we finalized the adoption.âÂ
(Y/n) began to laugh. âOf course you did.â I feigned feeling hurt, gasping at her dramatically. âYou say that like I forget stuff all the time! Are you insinuating that I, THE Markiplier, am getting too old and thus forgetting things often?â
âI mean, you said it, not me. So..â I rolled my eyes and joined in her laughter. After the amusement died down, there was a moment of silence before (Y/n) said softly, âI know how much you want to see them. If theyâre somewhat as nice in person as they are online, then I donât think it would be much of a problem to meet them. Iâd just need to hype myself up a bit, I guess.âÂ
I smiled happily and walked over, giving her a hug. âI promise, theyâre not bad people. Youâll love them. You donât have to agree to this if you donât want to. Please understand that.â
âI.. I know. Iâm choosing to say yes, Dad. Itâll be fine.â With that final confirmation, I nodded. âAlright, Iâll tell them that they can visit. Maybe in a week or so?â (Y/n) nodded and I stood up, walking to the living room. âDonât forget to text them, old man Mark!â She called after me and I spun around dramatically, almost falling over in the process.
(Time Skip: No oneâs POV)
Mark and (Y/n) walked into a store together, (Y/n) staying relatively close to her dad and the shopping cart. They walked around, picking out items that they needed, and some that they decided to try for fun or put away for when the others came to visit. Some parents that came to the store couldnât help but smile when they saw how close the two seemed to be and how they would laugh with each other at the weirdest things.
(Y/n) noticed something on the shelf that they needed and went ahead to grab it, but when she turned around, Mark was nowhere to be seen. She looked around in confusion and then felt her breathing quicken and her hands begin to shake. She went back the way that she came from but she still couldnât see him. Looking into the next aisle produced the same results.
Thoughts began to swim through her mind, overwhelming her senses. âWhere did he go? Did he leave me behind? Did he not want me anymore? Why did he suddenly disappear? Did something happen to him?â She put the item on the shelf behind her before she could drop it and tears began to fill her eyes.Â
Feeling sick, (Y/n) sat down on the floor, her foot tapping against the ground as she curled in on herself, trying to control her breathing. She was scared, not knowing what to do. She tried to make herself stop thinking about the âwhat ifsâ, but to no avail. She heard a soft voice, but didnât look up at who it was until a familiar hand with a gentle touch was placed on her shoulder. With that, (Y/n) finally looked up.
âM-Mark?âÂ
âAre you okay? Youâre shaking like a leaf.âÂ
She quickly embraced him, feeling herself calm down as his arms wrapped around her. He was here. He was real. His deep voice soothed her fears as he murmured words of comfort. âItâs okay. Iâm here. Sorry I left you behind. I thought you were right behind me when I forgot to grab something from the other aisle and went back for it. Guess I should pay more attention huh?â (Y/n) couldnât bring herself to talk but just clung to him.
Mark didnât question her as he continued to hug her. He knew she was crying, but she made no noise and he hoped she didnât get hurt, feeling awful that she was upset in the first place. But in all honesty, he wasnât entirely sure why she was so distressed over him not being there all of a sudden. âItâs okay.â He murmured softly, rocking her back and forth. âIâm not leaving you behind. I love you too much to do that.âÂ
After a few minutes she calmed down enough to where they moved on to the checkout and left the store. Nobody had seen (Y/n)âs breakdown, and that was fine with the two of them. It had been a private moment. The car was filled with silence on the way home and Mark constantly looked in the rearview mirror to check if his daughter was okay. The poor girl looked exhausted.Â
After coming home and quickly putting away the groceries, Mark sat down with (Y/n), making sure that she wasnât still in any part of her panic attack. He wrapped her up in a blanket, once again and gave her a big hug. âHowâre you feeling?â
âBetter.. Iâm sorry for what happened, Dad.â Mark shook his head. âThereâs no reason to be sorry. You were frightened. I do have to ask though, why were you afraid? I was only gone for less than a minute and I was pretty sure you couldâve seen me in the previous aisle.â (Y/n) went silent before softly murmuring, âI.. donât think Iâm ready to talk about it. Also, I did look in both the last and next aisles. I couldnât see you. I think you were hidden by something.â
âOkay then. Take your time. Iâll be here when youâre ready to tell me, and, come to think of it, there was a large pile of boxes over there so maybe thatâs why you couldnât see me. Sorry about that.âÂ
âDonât be sorry. You did nothing wrong. You were just grabbing groceries.âÂ
Mark hugged her again, the two of them laughing as she returned the gesture, sighing with contentment in his arms.Â
(Time skip)
The day for the guestsâ arrival finally came and (Y/n) had basically locked herself up in her room. Chica was in there with her, laying still beside the girl and receiving distracted pets. âI donât know what to do.â The teenager said, looking at the loyal dog. âI know theyâre nice people. Mark told me so, and they act relatively nice in their videos. I just.. I donât know if Iâll feel comfortable around them. I donât want to let dad down, or make the others sad by not being around them. What do I do, Chica Beeka?âÂ
The golden retriever in question just looked up at her and wagged her tail. (Y/n) couldnât help but smile, giving her a head scratch. âNot much help there, buddy, but thanks for listening.â Just then, there was a knock at the door. Chica jumped up and pawed at the bedroom door. (Y/n) took a deep breath and let her out, following the dog down the stairs.
They were here.
Mark was at the door, happily greeting his friends as Chica ran around, barking in excitement. (Y/n) stood back in the entrance to the living room, not daring to get close to the group, but instead just watched them interact with her father. She knew who these men were. SeĂĄn, Bob, Wade, Tyler, and Ethan were some of Markâs closest friends who she had seen on videos before, as well as heard Mark talking to them over video call or the phone. This fact, however, didnât excuse the fact that she was nervous.
SeĂĄn was the first to notice her and smiled, coming closer to her as she took a few steps back. âAww hello there!â He said with a wide grin. âYou must be (Y/n). Markâs told us a lot about you.â She could barely form words as the others also looked in her direction. âI.. umm.. Hi..?â She backed up once more as Ethan approached her.
âDonât be shy, weâre not gonna hurt you.â Mark noticed her distress and asked that they back off a bit. He watched her visibly relax when her personal space was restored. Bob and Wade looked at each other, deciding to speak to her gently while staying where they were. âItâs nice to finally meet you, (Y/n).â spoke the larger of the two, waving at her kindly. The gesture was returned.
Mark got closer to her and the others watched as she stood her ground and he put an arm around her. âSorry, I did tell you guys she might not be too comfortable at first.â Tyler nodded in understanding. âI get that. Better safe than sorry, am I right?â (Y/n) nodded and hid a little bit behind Mark.
Ethan smiled at her, seeming to have an understanding of the situation. âYou donât need to worry about us.â He said gently. âI know weâre all big and loud and scary, but I promise we arenât bad people.â Chica made her way over to the girl who gave her some head pats. âI.. I know you guys arenât bad. If you were, then dad probably wouldnât be friends with you. Iâm.. just not used to you yet.â Mark gave her a side hug with a smile. âItâll take some time, but weâll get there. Itâs just like we always do. Weâll take things slowly.âÂ
Over the next few days, (Y/n) gained exposure to the others. They were respectful of her personal space and they were all pleasantly surprised at how similar she was to them. Sure, they had heard of some stuff from Mark, but actually witnessing it was something different.Â
Tyler was the first one to really bond with her. His calm and gentle nature made her comfortable so it wasnât entirely surprising that he would be the one to start them off. He and (Y/n) found a shared interest in some sports and they held some nice conversations about them.Â
Next came Bob, followed closely by Wade. They started playing some video games together and while at first she didnât say much, when she got a bit more comfortable and started talking, the two men were rather pleased to hear her use Markâs sense of humor. It made the games much less tense and a lot more enjoyable.Â
Ethan was second to last. He was very energetic and seemed to have the mind of an 8th grader, so he and (Y/n) bonded over memes. He showed her some of his favorites when the two of them were bored in the living room and she shared some of hers. Their somewhat immature humor made it a very fun event, especially when it came to meme videos and clips they could find on random discord servers.
SeĂĄn, much to his disappointment, was the last one. Maybe it was because he was so outgoing, or perhaps it was because she was busy with the others. Either way, he didnât really know how to connect with her. Yes, they both liked video games and other such things, but he didnât really know how to approach her.Â
That changed when he was out on the porch, petting Chica. He heard the sliding glass door open and a pair of hesitant footsteps come near. âM-may I.. sit with you?â He looked over to discover that it was (Y/n). He nodded and she sat on the opposite side of Chica, giving her a head scratch.
There was a peaceful silence between the two of them for quite some time before SeĂĄn spoke up. âIâm sorry, but I have no idea how to talk to you.â The girl laughed softly, âYou and me both.â Chica let out a yawn, stretching slightly before (Y/n) continued. âI.. I havenât really given you a chance before now. Iâve been so.. Nervous.â
âWhy?â The teen shrugged. âI guess Iâm just getting used to having so many people here that I donât really know and youâre, like, my second favorite YouTuber so.. yeah, anxiety overload.â SeĂĄn looked at her in surprise. âYou watch my videos?â She nodded. âYup. Iâve watched at least one video from all of you, but I mainly see or hear you during collabs with dad.âÂ
The Irishman smiled. âIâm pretty sure thatâs how most people find our channels at this point.â (Y/n) laughed softly. âPretty much, but give yourself some credit. You guys make great videos by yourself, no Markiplier included.â SeĂĄn blushed slightly from the praise. âWell, thank you. Thatâs high praise coming from his daughter.â
She rolled her eyes with a smirk. âOh please. I was a fan of you guys before I was his daughter.â With the awkward barrier finally broken, they were finally able to talk to each other, all while petting a very happy Chica.Â
Things would take time to get used to, and no, having those five at the house wasnât permanent, but slowly, (Y/n) was finally able to get somewhat comfortable with them before they had to leave. Mark was very happy. This had turned out better than expected, and he knew it would be a lot more fun when it came to any future visits.
No, (Y/n) didnât engage in much if any physical touch with them, but that was to be expected, and that was alright. It would take time to achieve that kind of bond with her, as it had for Mark and Amy. But there was no issue with taking it slow.
Heck, heâs elated (but he wonât show it in front of the other egos cause edgy boss ego gotta keep his image)
More than willing to provide you with everything you need during your nine months
He can give you anything ;)
Isnât really bothered by weird stuff like your cravings or increased/decrease in affection
Wilford throws you two a gender reveal party during your 5th month (Dark isnât really one for parties but goes along with it for you)
You two are having a girl!
Dark starts to read books about how to keep boys away from his little girl (for the future)
Occasionally, if you two are cuddling, heâll place his hands on your swollen belly and smile while nuzzling you lovingly
Is with you throughout the entire pregnancy (or as much as he can be)
Will hold your hand and whisper words of encouragement during labor
âItâs okay, darling. Itâs almost over.â
âYou said that three hours ago!â
â... Iâm trying to help you.â
After an exhausting 16 hours of labor, youâre finally finished and the wails of a baby can be heard throughout the room
Heâll deny it, but Dark shed a few tears while holding his newborn daughter
Her name, decided by the both of you, was Celine Iplier
Wilford
WHAATTTTTTT
REALLY????
Happy mans
Jumping for joy and running around telling everyone he can find that heâs gonna be a dad
You find it adorable
Lots of kisses :3
He doesnât mind your cravings and 9 out of 10 times he will try any weird concoctions you come up with
Is very impatient when it comes to finding out the sex of the baby
The egos make him wait an entire extra month to find outÂ
Bing and Google work together to throw the gender reveal party
Bing comes up with the idea to make him wait even more by making the inside of the cake blue and pink, the reveal balloons white, and more stuff like that
Wilford looks like heâs going to explode into glitter
Suddenly, Eric nervously comes forward wearing a pink Hawaiian shirt
âC-cong-gratulations.. I-itâs-s a g-girl.â
Chaos ensues
Key word: excitement
Likes to talk about dancing with his little girl when sheâs old enough
It brings a smile to your face whenever he has these sweet lilâ gushes of happiness
He was doing an interview when you went into labor
Dr. Iplier began helping you through your labor pains and instructs Google to contact Wilford
Your husband teleports into the room in a panic
âDonât worry, honey, Iâve gotcha!â
He happily holds his daughter, Willow Warfstache, in his arms quite a few hours afterward
âWilford? Are you crying?â
âNo, Iâve just got something in my eyes.â
âOh yeah, like what?â
âTEARS!â
Actor
He just stares at you
âWhat did you just say?â
You repeat the news and he blinks, processing the information
âP-pregnant? Like, weâre going to have a kid?â
You confirm his question, now feeling very nervous
He is looking everywhere but at you, not being able to speak properly
âY-you.. I.. we.. w-what..âÂ
With a sigh, he turns away and starts to leave
You call after him but he tells you he needs time to think
He doesnât come to speak to you for a few hours
Youâre in the living room of the mansion, a fire crackling in the fireplace while you read a book, trying to take your mind off of things
He walks in and sees you there and, after taking a deep breath, he goes to talk to you
â(Y/n).. darling.âÂ
âIâve made up my mind, Mark, and I'm telling you now. Iâm keeping this baby, whether you want them or not. I donât care if you wonât want me around, but-â
He sits next to you, kissing you gently on the cheek and you turn to look at him
âThatâs the thing, my dear. Weâre going to be a family. Iâm going to be with you every step of the way. I love you, and Iâm going to take care of you and our baby.â
He meant it
He honestly did a pretty good job of it too
Sure he had a few things to gripe about, but he kept his word
You two donât have a gender reveal party and instead keep to yourselves (for the time being)
Surprise! Youâre having a little boy!
Has doctors come to the mansion when you go into labor
Heâs starting to tear up and heâs more than happy to hold his son for the first time
âI never thought I could be so happy..â
Five years later, Actor is in a meeting with the other egos when there is a knock at the door
Google goes to answer when it suddenly opens and a little boy runs into the room
âDaddy! Daddy!â
Actor is shocked as (Y/n) quickly comes into the room, looking embarrassed
âS-sorry, we were going to surprise you when the meeting was over. David Iplier, I told you to stay in the hallway.â
Actor ruffles the boyâs hair, âItâs okay. I was definitely surprised.â
Just then they realized how silent the room was until Wilford let out a loud, âYOU HAVE A KID?!â
âYes I do.â confirmed your husband, getting up and walking to the exit, âThe meeting was basically over anyway so Iâll be taking my leave. Buh-bye!â
He took you and your son by the hand and departed, leaving behind a conference room full of shocked and confused looking egos
Dr. Iplier
Is very surprised but takes it well
âYou really are full of surprises, arenât you, (Y/n)?â
Honestly, heâs very excited and tells a few people at the hospital he works at as well as a few other egos
Being a doctor, he knows just what to expect from the pregnancy and, while he canât always be home to take care of you (he does have a job after all), he does try his best to do what he can
Constantly checking up on you to make sure you feel okay
Heâs the one to do the ultrasound on you and you can see his eyes sparkle when he sees his child for the first time
During the fourth month (when you can slightly begin seeing what sex the child is), he happily tells you that youâre having a boy
When one of the egos (probably Wilford but who knows) asks if they know yet, heâll tell that ego about his son with a smile
Surprise, not surprise, heâs actually the one to deliver his own child
He was at work when an ambulance rushed in with you on a stretcher, obviously in labor
His eyes go wide and he runs to your side, grabbing your hand and giving you a quick kiss on the forehead
âItâll be okay, (Y/n). Just breathe and get ready to push.â
The labor lasted around ten hours but it was worth it
Dr. Iplier was the first to hold his little boy and he was so incredibly happy
âHeâs perfect, (Y/n).. thank you..â
âWhat do you think his name should be?â
âHow about.. Liam? Liam Ipier.â
Google
Very surprised and confused
He wasnât aware that he could get you pregnant
Yes, he knew he was very much like a human, but not THAT much
He does realize that the timing checks out though and knows that you wouldnât lie to him about something so important
Heâs happy and is sure to tell you that
He is also happy to do what you ask in order to make the pregnancy easier for you
Primary objectives are:Â
- 1) To answer questions as quickly as possibleÂ
- 2) To take care of his wife and future child
- 3) To destroy mankind (he has determined that this objective needs to be put on hold and possibly terminated though that last partâs still up for debate)
Will go with you to every doctorâs appointment and makes sure you feel okay
There are some very difficult parts of the three trimesters specifically when the baby is developing their more human-like parts
These complications were very much obvious during the third ultrasound
âIt seems,â said Dr. Iplier in confusion, âthat your child has some metal growing on her skin. Itâs unlike anything Iâve ever seen before.â
Yup! You and Google are going to be the proud parents of a little cyborg girl
By the way, Google is now 100% sure that the child is his because of this discovery
However, due to the fact that your daughter is part metal, it was pre-determined that she would have to be taken out via a c-section rather than a natural birth
It was just safer that way
When the time came and you went into labor, after a few minutes of waiting in the operating room, some surgeons came and introduced to the world a beautiful baby girl
Google smiled as he held his daughter in his arms for the first time and you watched his reaction from your bed with a smile
She was very small and had small plates of metal that were visible on both of her cheeks and on her upper arms
âHey Google?â
*ping*
âHow does the name âEveâ sound for your daughterâ
âI think itâs perfect, my dear.â
Bing
I doubt the baby was planned but heâs happy to be a father anyway
Secretly heâs wondering if heâs actually able to get you pregnant but whatever he has a feeling the kid is hisâŠ. somehow..?
Tries his best to provide for you when you need things but probably ends up needing help from the other egos for a few things
Tries to act more mature at the doctorâs office when you go for checkups and ultrasounds
He likes to cuddle you and especially kiss your stomach
âJust givinâ the baby some love. Canât have them feeling left out.â
Like in Googleâs HC, there are some complications and you two find out that the kid is a cyborg
Bingâs happy when you two discover as well that youâre having a little boy
âWe can name him Bing Jr. and I can teach him how to skateboard!â He told you excitedly
You secretly doubt youâll end up calling your son Bing Jr. but decide to let your husband dream before a final decision is made
Well the decision comes faster than you two originally thought because you went into labor three weeks early
Your son is born via a c-section prematurely and while he is put in an incubation chamber in your hospital room, you and Bing are very worried but believe that heâll be alright
âHang in there little buddy.â Bing says softly, putting his hand up to the clear wall that contained his son
As he said that, the little boy opened his eyes and began to softly cry
The doctor informed the two of you that he would have asthma, as his lungs werenât completely developed when he was born, but that he had a very good chance of survival
When you all were finally able to leave about a month later, Bing was the one to come out of the hospital with little Bing Jr. in his arms
Yancy
PANIC
âY-youse is pregnant?? Oh gosh, what will I tell Mr. Murderslaughter?âÂ
Heâs starting to hyperventilate and you hold him tight, calming him down after a few minutes
Yancy knew that he had already gotten special permission in the past to get married to you, his now wife, outside of the prison and in a Church, but this would probably not fly
Donât get him wrong, as he tells you, he wants the kid
He really wants the kid (he had secretly wanted to be a father for a long time), but heâs worried about how the other prisoners and especially Mr. Murderslaugter would think if they found out
You assure him that everything will be alright and you both nervously go to the wardenâs office and tell him the big news
There was a large moment of silence before he orders you both into separate solitary confinement cells
You both spend around 24 hours there before youâre both ordered back to the wardenâs office
Mr. Muderslaughter tells you that, while he is a bit upset that you and Yancy did that, realizes that this will be a learning experience for all of them should this happen again, whether it be through you or someone else
So, soon everyone knows the big news and everyone is actually willing to help out
A surprising amount of the other prisoners are fans of babies
Unfortunately, prison food couldnât quell all of your cravings but you put up with it
Yancy, who was happy to hear all of the encouragement from his fellow inmates, was happy to help you around as your belly grew
He was certainly fascinated when the baby started kicking
âI think they're gonna be either a fighter or a dancer. Whatâda think, sweetheart?â
Surprisingly enough, your child went over their due date by three days before you went into labor
It was a long and painful twelve hours before your son was born
Yancy couldnât hold back tears as he held the little boy who slept quietly in his arms
âHeâs⊠so handsome.â
You giggled tiredly, âYup, just like his father.â
Yancy smiled at you before his looked at his son again
â(Y/n)? Could we maybe name him Clifton?â
âMay I ask why? Iâm not saying no, mâjust curious.â
âIt.. Clifton was my dadâs name. I think it suits the lilâ guy.â
You couldnât help but smile and as you looked at the sleeping child, you realized that he was right
âClifton.. Yeah I like that name too.â
Illinois
He has very conflicting thoughts on the matter
Yes, heâs happy heâs going to be a dad, but that means he would have to temporarily (if not permanently) give up treasure hunting
âDarling, will this affect how I do my work? I mean, I canât exactly go exploring with a baby.â
âThatâs what youâre worried about?âÂ
Youâre a little hurt that his mind is elsewhere in regards to your big news, but honestly you shouldâve seen it coming
Illinois looks sad, âWith you being pregnant, I canât just take you with me because something could happen to you and thus the baby.â
You frown sadly but then discuss a compromise with him
He can go treasure hunting by himself until youâre either five or six months pregnant then he has to come home (to LA where the two of you bought a house for when youâre not adventuring) and stay there until Iâm well enough to take care of our kid on our own
He was hesitant at first but then took the deal
So yeah, he was gone for the first six months of your pregnancy, but he did make sure to call to make sure that you were okay
You told him unfortunately that you personally might have to retire from treasure hunting to be a stay-at-home mom and while he looked kinda sad about it, agreed that it was a logical decision
On a happier note, you told him that you found out that you two were going to have a daughter
Heâs honestly very excited about that (he never knew he could be so happy about something like that)
When he comes back home, heâs pleasantly surprised by the sight of his VERY pregnant wife fast asleep on the living room couch
He canât help but smile as he goes and gently wakes you up with a soft kiss
He keeps his word and stays with you for the next three months and is there with you when you go into labor
It was a tough 16 hours before your little girl was born and Illinois found himself on the verge of tears as he held his daughter
âSheâs so beautiful..â
âSo, what do you think her name should be?â
Illinois thought about it for a minute before responding
âCrystal. We met because of one, and now weâre closer because of one.â
You couldnât help but smile as he passed the little girl to you and you kissed her softly on the forehead
âI like the sound of that.â
Engineer
PANIC
His mind is racing as he stares at you in shock
âI got the Captain pregnant I got the Captain pregnant I got the Captain pregnantâ
Yes, he knows the two of you are married, thereâs no issue with that, but YOUâRE PREGNANT???
âC-captain.. I-I donât know what to say.â
âSay youâll help me raise this kid. Theyâre yours too.â
âY-yup! That works!â
It was quite the surprise when it was announced six months later for everyone to hear
You and Mark had been on the low, you personally doing a lot of work at the home you and Mark shared on the colonization planet in order to not stress yourself out
However, someone (Gunther) found out when he came over for a surprise visit to see Mark and ended up seeing you working from a laptop
Gunther was about to say high when the then noticed the casual clothes that clothed your swollen belly
Yeah, Mark told him to not say anything as you two were trying not to make a big deal over it, but he ended up telling everyone
A doctor from the Invincible II had been checking up on you for the past few months and told you both earlier on that you would be having a little boy
When you finally went into labor, a c-section had to be done because the umbilical cord was wrapped around the babyâs neck
Mark was very frightened when he found out but you reassured him that it would be okay, as the doctors knew what they were doing
When you two were presented with your new child, Mark started crying happy tears and he hugged you who held your little boy
âI canât believe I got so lucky.. To have such a beautiful family..â He whimpered as you kissed away his tears
âDo you want to hold him?â
He did and when he held his son, Daniel Iplier, he smiled shakily and kissed the baby on the forehead
