Michael meets Franklin, at the fron't door step. Smiling warmly. He pulls Franklin into a hug.
Then say's: "Franklin...I am very, very proud of you. My son. Very proud. I am happy to see how far you've come. You should be proud, of yourself too!"
I finally adjusted the resolution. For this image, to get a cleaner result. And, this is as closest as i wanted this to look like!
The father and son, relationship being this close. Is something I wanted to see. Also, with even more evidence.
Michael confessed it! He said, at that last mission. Near the end of the raid/or breach. Of that house. He tells the main player this:
"Hey, if you do happen to meet Franklin. Tell him, i said "Hi!" Ah, I love that kid!". That, right there. Confessed it, that he does love Franklin! And his bond with him, is a strong one.
Which encouraged me, to draw this! And, quite happy with the results!
So, yeah I really hope you like this! The characters, are property to Rock star games.

Oh that's not a friendly wave, that's a "Hello there, Cypaira" in the most creepy tone you could imagine.
Whenever I drew her it was always from her waist up. So today I decided to draw her full figure.
I had explained in a previous post that she's basically 'me' but disappointed, resentful, and hateful, as the voices I 'hear' in my head are practically mine.
I wish she was just some cool OC~ but nope! This is how I imagine the reason for my depression and low self esteem!

I dreaded all day for the final since I barely witnessed the people's reactions... And now I'm honestly conflicted. I'm glad they got the happy ending they wanted... But it doesn't feel right! There could have been more!! I wish I got to know the other characters more in depth, I wish Joshua (A.k.a Jesus) got to experience Earth more, I wanted to know more about Harry!!
It had SO much potential.... But the ending despite being happy.... Deserved something different. I can't hate it... But I can't help but feel disappointed as well...
Aziraphael and Crowley Will Remain alive in my heart and mind. I'll pretend they wrote the book of life themselves! That no Armageddon had to happen, no ending to a begining was needed, they could have been an Angel and a Demon Living in the Cottage they dreamed to have....
It's the next day and I have some more thoughts now that I've had my sleep...
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
As an overall thought of what happened last night, I needed to think about it more when I wasn't tired and overwhelmed.
As a plot, I didn't hate it, I actually still got hooked to it and enjoyed it. We still got good details such as Jesus being accurately called Joshua and being of draker skin; it made sense why Crowley became so disheveled due to his depression and heartbreak and practically not given the option of using Miracles anymore, plus being threatened to have the book shop burned down if he didn't agree to play a game of luck and skills with a mobster; the initial mystery of an anonymous character killing off the Metatron and Sandalphon made it intriguing... Although it was quickly revealed it was Michael; Aziraphael actually putting up a good act pretending to be a Demon!.. despite looking like joker xD...
I can't complain, it wasn't riddled with plot holes just like Stranger Things... But it was so fast paced that it needed more time! There could have been more interactions, more background on what happened with Soho, more screen time for Jesus, getting to know more about Harry The Fisher and maybe attempting to salvage his relationship with his now grown children thanks to Jesus's help. The way Michael was portrayed felt they just straight up lost their marbles instead of taking the whole "Wanting the real Armageddon" in a moderate and elaborate pace. They could have started with: "we'll leave some time and get rid of this, then let's pause again until I started hitting the real deal..." To then finally revealing their whole plan, And then slowly going mad with power; But instead they went on a full spree of ripping the Book of Life like a goddamn yellowpages. It felt out of character to be honest, and maybe it would have made sense if Michael took their time.
And I can't stress enough about the reconciliation between Aziraphael and Crowley. The way they interacted till the end felt half baked. Their break up in the last season three years ago was something serious, they needed More time to simmer in it, take in what's going, reflect about it, and Then they get to have a Heart to Heart. They barely got time to talk about it all! I mean yes they discussed it and shared their opinions on the way!...but again, it was rushed.
This might be a small detail, but the challenge between Aziraphael and the Mobster could have taken more time, but he instead wasted most of his time calling for help instead of attempting to solve a bar, get stuck, Then Call, and to suddenly see Aziraphael being done. I can't lie and say I didn't like that part I actually loved it, but same problem; Rushed. Also it was shocking and out of the blue to realise the mobster was Misty's father... It could have been interesting that not only are A&C chasing after Jesus, but all the time they're being chased down by Misty to then eventually Aziraphael convincing her to be next to her father instead of chasing them down.
And now how do I put this with 'God'? Yes, I remember that the whole plan was nothing but an elaborated game of chess, I remember! There was supposed to be an ending to this beginning... But as mentioned in Season 1, maybe the whole "stopping Armage-dont" was part of her plan too. But.. she was just ready to earase A&C! She felt.. condescending a bit (in my opinion).
But let's get to the chase! In the end, 'God' did give Aziraphael and Crowley freedom to choose, the two of them were sent to a book shop that looked like the Garden of Eden, which I honestly loved the detail, they discussed it a bit... And both came to a very difficult decision. As per their questions... Why give, to then take? So... Regretfully admitting this... They had a point that they'd rathert cease to exist and have a univers where the whole thing didn't exist except for a normal earth, then to keep this whole game going. Part of me wishes they had a kiss or at least a hug!... Maybe, it was in character to just.. leave it like that... But I do so wish their 'goodbyes' meant more than simply holding hands and Aziraphael passing a kiss onto Crowley's lips.
Despite all that... Aziraphael and Crowley still met eachother, and this time.. they got to have their happy ending. It was sweet, not gonna lie.. albeit bitter in a sense of way.
I cannot lie, but I feel disappointed. If writing down on an empty book literally summoned 'God'... I believe they could have rewrote the whole thing! They could have brought everyone back! They would have just chosen to not have the whole Armageddon going. There would haven been no Anti-christ, thus no Adam. They could have had something between them both! Alas, that did not happen.
In all honest opinion, I don't hate the series. I am only upset that 6, fifty plus minutes, episodes were crammed into a single 1 hour movie. After that I couldn't help but feel like I took advantage of the intro from S1 till S3. I would sometimes watch the intro for fun before beginning a new episode a couple of years ago.. this time I had to litteraly absorb the last intro because I wasn't going to see it again unless I restart the whole thing. The ending was sweet... But I feel it could have been different.
I would absolutely not tell people that didn't mind how it ended otherwise, and people that feel mostly disappointed and bitter have a right to feel that way. In my case, I will accept it, but not entirely. I Loved the Actors performance. They did an amazing job to pull the whole thing off so Hat's off to them.
For me this is a middle ground. Maybe overtime I'll accept it entirely while still wishing there was more, but Good omens isn't ruined for me. The Finale was lacking, but the plot was there. I saw other people's opinions and they're not wrong either. Like I said, it's a middle ground. I don't hate it, but I don't love it the same way as S1 & 2.
