Here in Italy there's this argument that right wing Catholic people often present against Muslim immigrants and any attempt to make them feel more welcome (like not having Muslim children participate in Christmas stuff but doing their own thing etc.) that is: "they are shoving their religion down our throats!"

Now, I was actually thinking about cases where someone tried to shove their religion down my throat, can you guess who?

My grandma, who insisted that me and my sister had to go to church every sunday

The priest, who had me confess my sins as a CHILD just so I could get the communion bread

My parents, who sent me to catechism

Every school I attended, that had religion in the curriculum (only once I had a teacher that actually taught different religions and ethics, he was a gem)

The school choir that had Christian songs in the setlist every time

But that's not shoving religion down my throat?
